Soom Mecha Angels, where & how to buy them?

    1. I can only ever see Sabik. I want to see the others, but I can never find them or access them on the site. Can someone give me a hand or explain to me why I can never seem to see them? Is it just as easy as sticking a Deneb head on a male body if I wanted a male Deneb? Big thanks in advance.

    3. Are you looking for owner pictures of Mecha Angels? Or do you just need a link to their section on Soom?

      So far there are only three MA boys to choose from - Sabik, Corvi and Rex. You could make Deneb a boy with head swapping but you'd have to buy two complete dolls and sell off the extra parts you don't use. Soom doesn't sell any of the MA parts seperately with the exception of the heel feet and jointed hands.

      After you've been here long enough to enter the Marketplace, you could look there for other options.

    4. If you're looking for images to browse in general, I've found that the owner pics of the male Mecha Angels sell them better than the ones on the site, if you can believe it. You may want to hop over to the gallery section here and enter 'soom rex' and 'corvi' and take a peek at the things that pop up. I wasn't a fan of the Corvi sculpt until I'd seen him here; he's now on my 'must order when funds and availability match up' list.

      If you're looking to order them, be aware that they aren't available all the time. You'll see a lot of them marked as 'Sold Out', but don't lose heart about it -- it just means they will probably be available again at a later date. Soom sells the Mecha Angels in their FFD periods, which is usually around the 15th of each month. Which ones they have available each month varies, but they seem to cycle through them fairly regularly.

    6. You could ask Soom if they would be willing to do a male Deneb for you. Someone said there would be a $30 fee for Soom to put a female head on a male body. They're pretty flat out at the moment so whether they would be interested until the Sard orders are finished is hard to say, but usually Soom will bend over backwards for their customers.

    7. Oh you guys are all so wonderful. What would I do without you! Thanks to you all, I'll try your suggestions. I'm still planning out my first doll, but so far the Deneb on the male body has really been the only doll besides Hound and Saint that grabs me instantly. Again, thanks a bunch.

    8. I believe someone already asked them, and they won't do it for the Mecha Angels. It's only for the Super Gems, apparently for an extra $30 they WILL swap a Super Gem head and body, but no Mecha Angels. Which sucks, because I really wanted a male Deneb. :(

    9. There's got to be a way to do it, seeing as how there's at least one out there, it's just figuring out if it'll be cost effective or not. . . *I'm usually a penny pincher. This is a huge financial undertaking for me. :sweat*

    10. There's always the option of selling the male head and the female body in the marketplace? I know it's not too helpful, but since you could pick any of the males, you could find someone who wants one of the specific MA male heads and do a split with them and order that one specifically for the body. You could do something similar with Deneb and the female body I'm sure.

    11. surreality - sister-of-charity does not have Marketplace access as a new member. So while she could consider that in the future, in is not a avenue that is open to her right now.
