Soom Idealian : Gluino - Vampire Alchemist

Oh dear. This certainly throws a monkey wrench into my plans. He's a stunner from what I can see thus far.

He may get me to give up that stunning Asa, which I thought truly unthinkable. That seems like one purty vampire.

...it doesn't help that I have a Victor Lou and he's 'big' for a lot of my crew, but would be a nice size match for an Idealian. They could sit on their shelf, brute and beauty, and tower over all the fairy folk that fit on the lower shelves. I'm totally fine with this state of affairs.

OMG I am sooooo doomed!! I just hope he will be available in some paler color... real skin is just too dark for a vampire! XD

 

I think it is a cream white resin for him. Perfect for a vampire and like him so far.

i suppose he's cream white, judging by the paleness of the photo. ^^ since no idealian has been released in normal skin color, i don't think this one will be. ^^;; i'm so happy that soom revert back to vampire. the first one that they cancelled was a vampire. maybe this time, he will also come with removable teeth like last time? so we will have... uhm, two kinds of head? XD

 

I like vampires, I just think the teeth are over the top. Wish they all made versions without the teeth for those of us who like more subtle vampires. He's got pretty eyes though.

 

Their previous version, like fransyung mentioned, had removable teeth inside an open mouth. I think these are permanent, though, and on the lip itself instead of a separate piece. (They'd have to interlock more closely than anything I have ever seen on a doll if they were separate, anyway.) That version did have a human head and a vampire head, though -- we might have the same thing this time.

Hmm....if not teeth inserts....

I'm thinking he might have 2 face plates....1 human, 1 vampire....also....human and vampire hands.

I know, right? Augh. And August, I think, is the month for the next Super Gem (or Mega Gem) guy in the MD series, too. And I thought last month's series of releases from them was painful to resist!

 

Mmm ok I think I will start another layaway soon... I am glad I have finished the Pangen one earlier... =_=
This vampire looks very interesting, he could be a character of mine I failed to "resurrect" last time in another doll... *-* I can't wait to see his photos....

 

Just paid off Branon....working on Pangen....and almost certain will be adding the Vampire to layaways. Soom and Iplehouse are killing me....LOL. Good thing I'm working lots of OT....*I think*.

T.T August 11 is the deadline for this guy. I hope we would see the next MD before that. So I can choose. T.T Can only afford one this time. Soom is making me cry big time.

After seeing the photos closely, I think they might give him 2 faces. Like Branon, with 2 faceplates. ^^ That would be nice. I would opt for both... XD Teeth and no teeth! I do hope that he comes in CW because I don't have any CW Soom yet.

They seem to have been pretty reasonable -- or about on par with the SG MDs. And those were in the realskin/tan/whatever they are calling the special color they were, not what seems to be their normal CW at a glance. The special colors tend to be a bit more costly, so he might be lower, though I wouldn't count on that. I'm guessing around $1100-$1200 for it all with shipping, or in that general range. I wouldn't be surprised to see it higher, and overjoyed to see it lower.

 

He will be around $700~$800 nude with shipping. X3

 

how is the resin match between idelian and mecha angel??

 

I really like this guy . His face reminds me a bit of the old Dollshes and Vampire Delfs..

Oooh what a nose! If he looks half as good in the rest of the pictures, he'll need to be mine. Especially if he is WS! He definitely looks lighter than Soom normal unless the picture is very light. Just compare him to the new SGs.

 

Ooh, he IS looking good. I'll need to see his face from a more head-on angle before I decide, but I'm liking what I see so far! Oh, Soom, so close to the new MD too...

 

I haven't done a "boy" doll yet, in fact they never interested me, but this guy! He is TOOO perfect so far. I cannot wait for new pictures, and too win the lottery. Cause that would have to happen in my case

I still think Pangen was badly introduced by Soom, with a different customization he will be amazing I am quite sure (and I will try to prove it, when he arrives XD ).

I think, too, that this Idealian will have finally the attention he deserves, as he looks amazing in this single photo... I can't wait to see other photos of him to make a decision (and I think I will buy him in layaway too, cause lack of money and cause if he will be popular, Soom needs more time to make him, so layaway is ok... ^^ ).

I am a bit worried by the new supergem standard release too, cause I fear that Soom is going to release in the monthly doll section megagem boys only and it would be a disaster for my wallet... =__= I really hope the next MD will be a supergem, as I could pass him....

I will wait till the end of his ordering period, and If I still strongly about him I will put him on a four month layaway and put money away responsibly for him, instead of just dropping all my computer money on him at once. After all my first SD size doll isn't home yet, I should probably give myself some time with him right? *nods to self*

The new pictures are up. I've never even looked twice at Soom dolls, let alone these huge Idealians, but I think I like him. Actually I know I like him. I especially like how small his eyes are, and that great outfit! Though I'm not sure that angelic feminine face goes with the beefy Idealian body. XD

 

I like the vampire face more than the human face, but... yowza.

He's the perfect contrast to my other gigantic vampire. Alas, I won't know if I can swing it financially for a few days yet, but... we'll see.

I love both heads, but especially that human version...DARN IT Soom! I do like how the fangs were handled; a lot more realistic looking than some vampire heads I've seen. *shudders*

You know, in that outfit of his he really looks like Alucard from Castlevania to me.
