      2. Only male Super Gem dolls will be offered for sale.
      3. You cannot purchase parts in order to recreate an existing SOOM doll.
      Since we will check this point and cancel each inappropriate order, please be careful when you place your order.
      (Ex1 : Chrom head + Chrom body and fantasy parts + Normal skin ⇒ cancellation
      Ex2 : Chrom head + Chrom and fantasy parts + bronze skin ⇒ order OK
      Ex3 : Chalco head + Chalco body and fantasy parts + bronze skin => OK)
      4. This event will also be opened online.
      5. Layaway orders are allowed for both online and in-situ orders.
      6. Special Order dolls skin type are not included in the rule (Normal Skin Sard OK).
      7. Super Gem male body is included in the set.
      8. Only fantasy hands are legs will be available (no human parts).
      9. This is a pre-order event (no lottery will be held, this event is for everyone).
      10. The production process of these dolls will start after full payment (these are not pre-made items).
      11. Face-up works => it will be the default face-up from the selected MD doll head.
      Although the eyelashes and shapes will be the same, our team will be free to change the colours randomly in order to fit the skin colour.
      If you want a specific face-up work to be made (custom face-up), please bring any design of the style you want to the NYCC and we will advise you about it at our booth (service reserved to the NYCC visitors).
      12. Body blushing works => it will be the default body blushing from the selected MD doll head. Although the design will be the same, our team will be free to change the colours randomly in order to fit the skin colour.

    3. I can't go this year, but if this is the beginning of a trend of bjds popping up in NY (which is closer to me), I may have to start planning for next year. With CC and AF running concurrently, it's a good opportunity for bjd companies imo.

    5. Darnit, why did I have to move far from NYC? I used to live only about a 20-hour busride away from the Big Apple. Now it's a $600 flight away. Then again, if it weren't I'd be booking the bus right away... :sweat

    8. WOW! What an awesome event! Too bad there are about twenty reasons why I can't attend, but it's great that they are selling Alex and the Fantasy Free Choice guys online. :D
      I love the rule that you can't recreate an old MD!
      I think I'd have to go for a Bronze Chrom on a Chalco body....

      ETA: Why is it a problem that Chrom will be available in NS? A lot of them were. You just can't order the head and body of the same doll in the original color. This could lead to some tedious swapping threads though. >.>

    11. Oh my god! There's just absolutely no way I can attend, not even if I drop on my aunt for a surprise visit like a pile of snow (which I know she'll welcome). But this sounds like so much fun! And you get to see the MD's and such in person? That's absolutely amazing. I can't wait - even just for pictures.

      I hope this year it'll be a huge success so Soom can keep doing it in the years to come, too. Maybe even somewhere a little bit closer to here, too.

      Awesome event. Now to be poor or not to be poor, that is the question.:doh Which begs another question, will they allow layaway for online orders, as there's no way I could make it to the event.

    14. It baffles me though, because I think Chalco came in NS and 'Bronze' skin (Brown tan, close enough ;) ) so you couldn't buy his head and his body together no matter what. At least with Chrom you can go Bronze skin and have head and body.

    17. Actually Bronze and Brown Tan are completely different colors. The Bronze is more of a red tint and the Brown Tan is like a Chocolate.

O_o Cuz, I would love to be able to get a body for my floating teenie gem head, and posssssssibly the new one too (Smokey? that's so cuuute! :aheartbea)... So yea, at least one, if not more... I wonder too, if they will limit how many one can buy..

    22. Well, this clearly isn't about re-releasing sold out dolls, because they already do lotteries for that. I think the spirit of this is more like Volks Full Choice. It makes sense for them to test the waters using the big fantasy boy dolls that are their primary claim to fame.
      And as it has already been mentioned, Bronze and Brown Tan are significantly different enough to discourage someone from trying to cobble together the original Chalco parts with these new parts.

      And that's just one thing, gah! I mean I haven't even seen Alex, and there's the chance to get dolls who haven't even had promo shots released...LOL! Plus Smokey? If that's not a grey centaur, I will be stunned...I don't even know where to speculate first here! :...(

I would probably get a Io on Chalco body, then Chalco on Euclase body, and then swap the heads, and then my head would explode while my wallet implodes simultaneously, causing some sort of time/space warp that would turn us all into sock puppets. The WS original would be a fabulous winter demon, the NS a fine spring demon, the bronze an amazing summer and maybe also a fall. Mmmm... ^0^

      I'll also be interested to see which discontinued eyes they'll be offering. They say the top 5 most popular of the discontinued, but I have no idea what those were.

Hopefully by October I'll have a little spending cash to splurge. But I'm not a huge fan of fantasy dolls >.< (which I feel defeats the purpose of loving Soom).

      I wonder what he will look like in Bronze, though. Even if I don't get to take part in this lovely ordering period, it's still awesome that they're doing this! *pines for Sard* I hope we'll see it again in the future- maybe with some of their popular ladies!
