I have a soft spot for Doll Chateau Elizabeth and Xaviera, but they don't fit into my collection and I can't justify spending $500+ on small dolls that don't have a specific place in my crew. I've wanted Debbie and Caroline for years now too, but I haven't been able to find them since they've been discontinued, and I'm not sure I could afford the asking price anyway, so it hasn't been a priority to seek them out.

Then there are a whole string of dolls I could fit into my crew that I really like--Impldoll Star girls, Aimerai Jersey Devil, Raccoon Doll girls, Iplehouse JID Benny, IslandDoll Muan Muan, Dollshe Amanda Beauty, Nympheas Dolls ChouChou, Charles Creature Cabinet Princess Kaba, FreakStyle Sasha and probably several more. Many of them are easily found or readily available, some aren't even expensive at all, but it seems like I either don't have money, or when I do, I end up getting something else. So they stay floating on my "maybe one day" wishlist, which may or may not ever happen.

On the other hand, I have been in love with Doll Factory's Devil Bobo for about 8 years and just never bought one, though I did try to trade for one once and got rejected, so I jut thought it wasn't meant to be and stopped trying for a long time. I preordered one last month, FINALLY! I hope she's as awesome in person as she is in photos.

 

It is a long list, and a lot of it is "Ohhh, that's pretty, I want it!" more than desperately seeking it, so there's a high chance I won't really get it all ever. Just things to consider if I ever unexpectedly come into a large amount of money that doesn't need to go to anything else! :P

 

Yes, have a few! The first one was because when I first joined the hobby, I didn't understand the concept 'if you really like it, get it or you will regret it'. The price seemed so high for a tiny Bjd, I was so new, and I settled for some thing else. I'm still pining for a Legend de Temps Puzzelf. Oh well... The others on my list are just too much money for me to justify: smart doll Eiji, or any Volks DD (esp Lin & Rin, and the newest Kirito).

 

The one thing I really, truly, badly want now but can't get is a Dollzone Heavy Rain fullset.

 

I have a few... I've had DoD Ducan on my wishlist for literally like seven or eight years, but I took a bit of a hiatus from the hobby and just...kept getting other dolls instead. I still want Ducan, but now with DoD kind of disappearing and all the other dolls on my wishlist, he's kind of taken a backseat. I'll get him eventually!

 

Yes I have always wanted a Soom Merry Monarch. I really loved the sculpt and all the historical accessories that he came with. At the time I couldnt justify spending that much money so I let him go, but I have watched the MP ever since to see if one came up for sale. Sadly, I dont think he was popular as I have never seen one on DOA

I've always wanted a Senior Delf quintus. Back when he was released, I was working part time with barely any money, and couldn't afford him. NOW you can NEVER find him second hand and I've missed out on a doll I'd die for. -sigh- I'd sweep him up in a heart beat if I could and push all other doll plans aside.

 

I want a doll room in my apartment! But it's not big enough, so that'll have to wait till I can afford moving somewhere with more rooms

 

A Volks F-54. Been in love with the sculpt ever since I started the hobby three years ago. Hopefully that will change this year, though. If I manage to hold out until August I can order her then.

My main search right now is a Super Gem Soom Sabik head since he usually appears as a Mecha Angel. I have the body ready for him! Then I also have a few I would like but not quite the very top of my list.

 

Dikadoll BaiXuan (human), and Soom Dia (Male).

I did want a Soom Hyperon all those years ago, but I've since been able to write his character out of the dolls' story to which he, Alex, and my MK Cris (who will be called Mishka) belong. So, I have no real need for him.

But, since I saw Dikadoll's BaiXuan almost 5yrs ago, I've wanted him. His character has kind of been written out, also, but the desire to have him is still there. I find myself developing little bits of his character now and then. And, Soom Dia? Well, he's not got a character, but he's always been that one doll to niggle away at the back of my mind...

 

LUTS Commander of Blue Knights Abadon. Yes, a freakin' LE fullset from 2009. I kind of found out about him eight years too late. Very deep sigh.... (Maybe they'll rerelease him? I notice LUTS has made new versions of Forgotten Story Bory...well, I'll keep hopin')

 

For BJDs, Iplehouse Jessica. her sculpt isn't really rare but she still captivates me every time I look at her.
Smart Doll Mirai is in my head too.

 

I've wanted a Volks Yugiri for years. Every time I see one for sale I'm like AWWWW YEESSSmeh I don't want to spend the $$
Also a Narae or Narin. I don't really care which, or what color really, I've just always wanted one. It's almost happened a few times, but then no.
And a huge handful of DC and DZ dolls but y'know. Too many dolls.

 

I would love an eve the cat pet. That's an expensive pet for my dolls, though.

 

Original Delf Soony has been on my wishlist since before Luts discontinued the original Delf sculpts. I finally managed to get a Chiwoo last year, but it seems that Soony goes for significantly more if and when she does pop up The new(er) Fairyland Juri version is cute, but there's just something about having an original one...

 

I've had several little ball jointed cats on my wishlist for years, before i was even into the hobby or human ABJDs.

 

there are a lot of dolls that i really want to have but wasn't able to get, they are character dolls of kuroshitsuji, feng yu ji tian and a lot more.

 

Iplehouse Stella and Dexter... I love them so much, but just dont know what I would do with them. Havent even fully decided on what style I would want them...
Stella I would want as a FID girl or YID boy, and Dexter Im not sure if i would go for EID or HID size...
I have a rule where I cant buy a doll without a plan (unless its an amazing deal on a second hand one)
I do have the exception that if Dexter is added to the FID line, I can get him. lol. I just would not be able to say no to that.

 

It's time in my life for me to stop collecting unfortunately but the one thing I never got that was really BIG on my wishlist was an antique merry-go-round horse. Like a German Denzel. Sighhhh......

 

I'd love to see what you'd do with an Elizabeth, PumpkinKings! She seems like she'd suit your aesthetic really well

 

I still don't have a pair of shoes for each of my dolls, and I've wanted them to each have their own signature pair. I've had a couple fairly old dolls on my wish list for a long time, and I don't think I'll ever get them. I'm not active enough in the community that I'll ever even know if they were to come up for sale, and I don't have the extra funds at this time if they did come up.

 

Ideally I'd start by modding an extra set of arms on her! But unfortunately I don't think DC sells extra parts, or at least thats what I've heard anyway.

I really think she'd look lovely with four arms though.

I've wanted an Island Doll Veranoen since I first saw him two years ago. I fell in love with the fullset immediately, which never happens - except here, apparently. He's everything I want right now - a fantasy doll (he's an elf!), a dreaming (ish) sculpt, fancy 1700s clothing... The only "flaw" is that he is 70cm.... and almost 1000 CAD. Which is far too much for a currently-unemployed, chronically ill person trying to save for grad school in a hilarious bad job economy.

I also really want a functional dollshelf or diorama with in-scale furniture, but that's on me - no one makes the sort of things I want, so I gotta get creative!

And far, far in the future I would like a doll with an Asian aesthetic - probably my character Hideyasu shelled as a Luts Taffy, but at some point a Ming Chinese doll would be great too...

When I first got into bjds I was in love with SOOM Onyx, part of me still adores her, but its practically impossible now a days I haven't seen her on the marketplace and I'm terrified of looking elsewhere in fear of buying a recast. At the time I wasn't sure I was ready to make a leap and spend -that- much money on a doll. A part of me regrets it but without falling for her in the first place I wouldn't have delved into dolls like I have.

 

Since I just recently ordered one of my two grails (Yay!), the only one that remains is Volks Date Masamune. I want him so bad but my goodness does he come with a price tag.
Another doll I've had a soft spot for-- the one that originally got me into BJDs actually-- is Soom's Hyperion. Mercenary from Hell I believe was the name of the release. It would be very cool to have the doll that originally got me so interested in the hobby, but it's not something I'm actively pining for like "I MUST HAVE IT!" as much as Masamune. Though he still looks amazing to me even after all this time.

 

A Dollfie Dream. Can't justify the expense. I also don't think I'd be good caring for vinyl. I know it stains so easily, and I suck at faceups on it.

 

A Laurel Crown sofa. I want swanky furniture for my dolls but I also gotta buy them a deeper/bigger shelf to sit their swanky sofa upon. The shelf I have them all on dollnstands on isn't deep enough for a 70cm scale sofa.

I'd also like some ball jointed pets for my dolls but I'm still waiting for 3-D printing to get cheaper.

I want a Doll Chateau doll at some point. I just don't know which one it will be.

 

I've wanted some jointed, clawed hands and a jointed tail for one of my character dolls but haven't found anything that fit what I was looking for and if I did it was sold out. It's been awhile since I originally checked, so I may need to look again ^__^

 

Oh, yes! I've been wanting their miniature Victorian spoon-back armchair for what seems like forever, and just this week got in touch with them about making it...plus, they will resize the table that I want to match it. So excited!!

But that aside...I really want a Dollmore Trinity...or two. I have this mental image of a pair of them sipping tea at a little round table in my living room, where I can admire them whenever I like. I just wish that my wallet was a enthusiastic as I am...

 

Oooh nice! What color are you getting it in? Lol my dream sofa switches back and forth between red, green, and black. I found a cheaper swanky dog sofa but the dang thing only comes in a very boring looking beige.

The large dolls interest me too but I'm not sure if I can handle it. As a shorty, 1/2 scale dolls are like "wait a minute... this is more than one half of me...."

 

I don't have a Dollfie Dream but would like one.

I'm not really a fan of the "standard" models that they have, and there are only certain character sets that I'm interested in.

Volks don't exactly make it easy to get something from them. I did enter the Santa Saber lottery, but obviously didn't win that

Kinda thinking about a Smart Doll instead, but it's a lot of money for vinyl.

 

There are dolls that have been on my wishlist a long time, but just have never been my top priority... but the one thing I really think of is a proper doll bed for setting up a little 'room'! Ever since I got my second and third dolls, I've really wanted a bunk/trundle bed so that everyone could have a space to 'sleep' without taking up way too much of my space.

For a while I had a little wicker couch/'daybed', but it was always a couch and never a bed, since all three had to share it. But I wasn't able to bring it with me in the move, so now they haven't got any furniture... (I mean, and I wound up getting a fourth doll and never a bed, but since Mar is a quadroped with her own case, she doesn't need a bunk.)

Ideally I'd love to find a bunk bed with a trundle... which I only ever see anywhere when I'm broke. But if I got a regular bunk bed, Billy could share Pete's bunk, he's small and cuddleable. I just need to get them some furniture and set up a room space again post-move.

 

I haven't really been in the hobby long enough to have something I've wanted FOREVER, but something I want in theory but don't yet feel motivated to really go after: a big heavy cuddly SD. A friend has a Dollshe and I love holding him, he's just the right size and weight and he's perfectly strung, so he feels really comfy! But that scale wouldn't fit in with any of my other planned dolls or props, and I've yet to find a head that really grabs me for that purpose- there are a lot of cool SDs with serious dramatic faces, but that's not what I'm looking for!

I've also been planning on getting a 5Star Jadite for nearly 2 years now, but she keeps getting bumped back to the wishlist by other purchases.

 

Wait...black is an option? LOL, now you've added to my flailing; the only thing that has stopped me from finalizing the purchase is that I'm torn between three of the patterns, including the one it's displayed in...but...black...! Which one is your dream sofa? I love Laurel Crown - they are so friendly and accommodating, and will scale pretty much any of their full size furniture down to dolly size.

At 75cm my boy isn't quite 1/2 scale (unlesss you're a 5" man), but they gave me the measurements of the chair and it's a good fit. The thing is...even though I'm 5'3", these big guys don't overwhelm me. They are definitely tall - close to 1/2 my height - but their weight is only about five or six pounds...so not really proportionate. You should see if you can find one to hold irl, at a meet or convention.

 

They have custom upholstery options and I think it would look pretty sharp with black leather upholstery.

I wanted the Victorian Double-End Show-Frame Sofa. I started with wanting the spoonback chair but oh man I got too many big boys. Though if they will shrink down their full-size furniture, I like the 3-seater spoonback. Though at the rate I collect I might need 2 of them. I'll get one with dark upholstery for my gloomy boys and one flowery one for my happy boys.

I am 5.' My 70cm boys are like the same size as my leg. Yeah, it's a good think their weight isn't proportional. O_O Man, that'd be rough.

Doll meets are great for finding the line between "I like looking at this" and "I need this in my possession."

 

AOD Shi... I wanted him when I first got into the hobby.... it's been 4 years and he still isn't in my collection ;-; I really want him next!! I can't keep putting him off! (Mostly because Nat doesn't have any friends...)

 

I've always, always had a big weak spot for Impdoll Avery but honestly I don't think I'll ever get one. I want him but have zero ideas for him, and I don't really get dolls just to have. He just does my heart good to see him around I guess haha

 

I want a bjd that I can use to create my OC, but I can't find a sculpt that is close enough for me to accept it. So until then, I am without my boy.

 

One of those DollHeart Fers.. the gorgeous dress with the hooded jacket? When I get an SD sized doll, I WILL be getting her a DollHeart Fer for her if it's the last thing I do!

 

Thanks for posting that! I asked about options for black upholstery, and they have several to offer. (omg, more options to make the choice even harder, lol.) If you've never contacted them, you might be interested to know that they have custom production cycles with set dates - e.g., the next one begins on July 15 with completion scheduled November 30. Also, you don't have to pay in full when you order; all they require is a 30% deposit to begin the work. Just something to think about.

 

Oooooh. lol it's a lot to think about while I save up.

 

A Dollzone Yan that came with the yellow and black vinyl outfit, the counter part to DZ Annie. At the time I could only buy one, but with school, life stuff, and who knows what else, I missed the boat... and now DZ dolls are so completely different from back in the day! I don't know if i have even ever seen one for sale after her initial release Maybe someday I will find my girl her sister I know she wasn't limited or even super fancy, I just still really like her lol

 

I've admired DollsTown's Elysia since I first joined the hobby over eight years ago. There have been many dolls that caught my eye and I didn't buy, then lost interest. But every time I see an owner pic of Elysia I'm drawn to her. She always looks good, no matter what face-up, style or color. I've gotten a lot of dolls, many around the same price range, and yet never purchased her. But I think if I ever do get her I'm going to have a real problem deciding what kind of face-up, I've seen so many amazing ones now.

 

Not as long as many people here, but the first doll I felt I actually wanted to spend the money on was Pipos's Isabelle. But they don't have the best outfit selection and the one dress I liked for her was always out of stock every time I looked. I actually made this account with the original intention of getting marketplace access and hunting a good dress for her down, but I'm shy, ended up needing a new car, and a dozen other things that kept pushing it back.

Now, I have my heart set on Deamine's Priscilla being my first doll if their summer event next month doesn't have something that I fall in love with. I'll come back to Isabelle one day, I'm sure.
