After ending the Hesvar stories I've been very, very slowly updating the looks of some of my dolls. So slowly that this is only the second major character to get a new look and its been over a year since I changed the first one.

I didn't really go all out either, but it's surprising how much the outfit's jacket and a different wig (hair dye and cut) can completely change the look.

Here's my Dear Mine Arthur today.





And here he is as Lucius in Hesvar. Yes, that's the exact same outfit, just without the jacket and cravat.

 

I was actually going for the human aspect of it with the title. For the doll it's of course just a different wig, but for humans in my experience it's more common to be a hair cut style and dye vs a wig. (Although of course there are plenty of wigs in use by humans too.) Thanks on the change itself. I'm sure the others would like some attention too, but I've just not felt particularly motivated to deal with them for a long time now. Sigh.

Yeah the ability to change and customize is a nice part of this hobby. For a long time now though I've not even really changed outfits on my dolls. Interests wax and wane and all that.

I agree it's a nice outfit, but I can't take any credit. It's just how it came. I'm fairly certain it was made by Doll Heart.

 

It has a boy band feel to me but I like it. The color is more of what I had in mind when I purchased the doll, but none of the wigs I had in similar colors looked good.

I noticed the tail too. Not sure if I have any matching fur to make one, but given how long it took me to change the wig and put on a jacket it might be a while before I look into making a tail.
