      Hello! I'm Bahh and I'm still quite new to this hobby, and the most enjoyable thing for me in this hobby is probably customization and doing faceup for dolls~ so here's some photos

      probably my first faceup that I'm proud of^ ^...the several attempts before it all turned to be somewhat majorly flawed

      this one was for the winner of a faceup give away I did on a different forum earlier....I'm not happy with it at all since she asked me to wipe it twice complaining it's two dark and not cutesy sparkly enough....to me this is way too cute

      and the last one I did yesterday night and my first attempt at making freckles. They are fun to make but could get overworked so easily 0_o

      yes, so critiques and comments are welcome! I want to improve my faceup skill so one day I might be able to have my own faceup shop and do faceup for all kinds of dollies U_U

    2. I don't do face-ups but I'm guessing that eyebrows are one of the hardest things to get right as they seldom are with beginners, but yours look great to me.
      I'm not a fan of the dark mouth corners, as in photo two, but other than that I like your work. Enough that I would be willing to commission you if I were in the market.
      Specifically, I like the greenish eyeshadow in the first picture and the freckles in the last one.

    3. Phanuel：thank you for the critique! I don't know how i feel about the dark mouth corners either...they seems to be a very popular thing with a lot of more clean/cutesy/sparkly style, though honestly I wouldn't categorize my own style as clean and cute o_o Thank you again!

    4. Personally I find your middle faceup the weakest effort, the other two are quite stunning. I love the freckled effect, you are one of the few artists that realizes that it needs to be layered.

    5. The pocked skin around the horn in the first picture is delightfully gross! I really like the eyes on that head too. They seem very realistically tired/bruised/undead. The other heads are nice too, but I guess I'm just drawn to the creep factor.

Stella Maris: you are absolutely right when saying that the middle one is the weakest of the three....it was a gift commission where they requested me to copy from another artist's faceup in a style opposite to the one I'm comfortable with...and I must say being uncomfortable at what I was doing really did impact the final result! thank you for your kind comment though ouo

      I really love your work, I went searching for your thread when I saw your reply to the "freckles : how to" thread!
      Bit surprised , I hoped for a huuuge thread considering your already impressive level!

      I agree with both above, the middle one is the weakest and the first is truly impressive!

      The mouth color contrast is truly impressive and you managed to get that creepy feeling really well! I'm not really fond of the bottom one's mouth tho, I think it looks a bit messier that the others wich is a shame considering how awesome the rest of the faceup is, especially your freckles! :)

      Looking forward to see more of your work, you're talented ^^

    10. I like the eyes that you use, and also, the expressions on the dolls faces are all different, and I like what they say, especially doll number three...he looks like he's done something naughty, and is daring someone to tattle on him...
