Oh the story is so good! Endwalker made me cry so many times ToT I can't wait to see where we go next.

 

I’m so hyped for the patch update. 4 and half more hours!

 

I got an apartment in Ishgard! I'm so excited, lol.

 

My FC is aiming for a large...we've been scouting out all the potential plots we wanna try for to decide which one is best to go for. It's stressful for sure but we're really hoping we can finally achieve our goal of getting a mansion quq9

 

Yesss but I'm still not finishing the Endwalker plot 5.0 make me crying so loud.

 

Oh an ff14 thread! I’m a cat girl astro/dancer main on Ultros, but I also have a bunch of alts I like to mess around with !

 

I finally (heh) signed up for the free trial! ^o^ Well, a couple of weeks ago now. Had a lot of fun starting my tough little lalafell marauder in Linsa Lominsa... especially because that's where the fishing is! And it's not an RPG without fishing. And cooking. Really lucked out because I didn't think to check which guilds are where before starting.

I started a miqote (?) gladiator too, so I could have a character on the same data centre as my partner. And I wanted to see how the opening of the game goes with a different starting city.

Really finding it difficult with inventory limits and stuff on my main, because of course I have 5 different crafting/gathering jobs. Every game can be Animal Crossing if I dream hard enough! XD I haven't bought the full game yet, but soon. Soon... and then all the fish will be mine!

 

I love it when hobbies cross! ^_^

I am a WHM main Raen on Coeurl. Been playing for a year this month! Dabbled in savage raiding, cleared P1S and nearly P2S before I decided it wasn’t for me. At least, staying current! I love doing synced older savage content when it isn’t so stressful for everyone to finish as fast as possible.

 

I just started playing again after taking a month and switched things up. Fantasia'd into a Lalafell and I love him! Though, I'm probably going to switch back to my bunboy when we get more story. In the meantime, it's Pinpin's time to shine! I'm also debating if I should turn my incoming TinyDelf into him. It'd be fun to try and make some of his glams.

 

So, I've recently fallen in love with a Miqo'te and decided to make a doll for him...meet my precious boy, T'shka.





Have some eyes I'm debating on and ears/tail when I get the extra funds. If anyone wants to talk OCs and/or help me decide on things PM me! Would love to make friends, lol.

 

I'm a bnuuy on Materia DC, though I'll likely be moving to the new NA DC when(..if) it opens.
Been playing since late heavensward patches, but I got bored this expansion so I haven't done much. DRG/GNB main.

 

I caved and bought the full game a while back, because I really wanted to make a bunny XD and also I paid for an extra retainer just so I can work on my crafting jobs on my main. Plus it was really inconvenient not being able to message people. I could have played more of the story for free, but I realised it wasn't worth compromising my preferred play style just to grind through the quests for free.

Ended up remaking my miqote alt on one of the new worlds so I could play with friends who are more active. I should really put some time into my alts to get them through ARR at least. ^^; (I stopped playing for a bit when ill, but might try working on my alts a bit to get back into the habit of gaming)

 

Oh my goodness this game has pretty much taken up all my free time since I bought the full game two months ago. I'm having a total blast with it... though I can't help but wonder if the dress up aspect of it has helped rekindle my interest in BJDs haha.

I'm working through Shadowbringers MSQ at the moment. I'm Robert Cattinson on the Primal Ultros server x) Miquo'te for the punnage of course. Typically a Bard main, but currently trying to spread the EXP out - been having a lot of fun with Summoner and Reaper.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one with silly/joke names! XD My viera is called Manbun Bunman hehe

 

Manbun Bunman is amazing! I've got Attila Thebun on standby haha.
Silly names are the highlight of any dungeon run! My favorite one I've seen so far is Bigjoey Slapnuts

 

@Momotion hahaha that’s hilarious! I once saw someone called Tesco Mealdeal which was pretty funny. Must’ve been looking at their lunch for inspiration. I did name one of my numerous alts ‘Voodoo Jazzhat’ after the fake beer name in a Fosters Lager ad a few years ago. Another of my alts is called Richard Hammond, obviously it’s a Lalafell!

Well hubby and I have just started replaying after a pretty long (over a year) break from it, we’ve been playing ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) but it’s just not got the same sense of fun about it.
Hubby’s really enjoying Reaper, so cute seeing a Lala trying to look scary with a scythe bigger than they are. I haven’t yet subbed so for now I’ve just made a character on his account so if anyone on Phoenix sees a wee female Lala called Frankie Daffodil running about that’s me until I decide to reopen my own account again.

Sometimes I think the biggest downfall of mmo games is exact the same thing as the reason for their success and that’s the social aspect. It can be amazing and you make so many friends, friends you’d never have ‘met’ any other way, friends that you become in rl too quite often but when life moves on or things turn sour (never get married ingame to someone you’re not with in reality, take it from me….baaaad move) then the emotional turmoil can ruin it all for you!

 

hello! I play FFXIV and just came back into the doll hobby with the release of Y'shtola DD (yes i ordered her lol) I played 1.0, then Beta/Early 2.0 then had life and school take over so i took a long break. I returned just before shadowbringers released. Its nice to see other players on here that share the love of this hobby too!

Well as you see I play as a Miqo'te Male and main Summoner! Though nowadays I tend to hold back on playing since I got interested in BJDs and now I want to make my catboi into one!
I'm actually in the process of picking out a doll head and body that would fit him which is quite overwhelming in itself, but actually seeing other people's dolls of their FFXIV character is actually helpful

 

Oh FFXIV thread! Right up my alleyway! I play both a male viera and miqo'te on Siren and main dancer on both I'm in the middle of making my viera into a bjd right now, have him on a temp body but I'm saving up to get a specific sculpt for him and have plans to make a few npc bjds too

I thought about shelling out both my characters in bjds.. hmmm maybe xD I have male Moon Miqote and male viera I'm on Primal Excalibur and Hyperion

Dark knight main Viera on Mateus, here. Making a doll of my girl is something I'd love to do, eventually...though I may end up swapping if hrothgals are everything I hope for.

 

Well, now that that's actually happened, I'm on Maduin since it was the lowest pop and therefore best for housing I'm an f miqo'te now, Masha Molkoh if anyone wants to meet up in-game!

 

I'm using smart dolls as the base for my Viera twins. Got the dolls, just need custom faceups and ears for them! Wigs and eyes are got...and clothes will be more of a hassle, lol. I'm excited though XD

I honestly mainly play Bard on my Miqo'te~ Aether is where I'm at. I'm either in the gold saucer, or The Palace of the Dead (solo.)

I have a lot of dolls I want before my character- but damn if I wouldn't love some cosplay / glamour for currently present dolls hehehe.

Scholar main on Faerie here~ currently taking a break from the game but I'm super excited for the new raids when they come out eventually!

 

Well I resubbed to the game so I’m back playing on my account instead of hubby’s! Lots of catching up to do. My main is Blodeuwedd Nightwing, a Viera (she used to be a Hyur Highlander) DNC.

Bard used to be my job of choice but they changed it so much over the years that it feels clumsy to play now.

I’m slowly levelling different jobs while trying not to hoard too much gear in the process, my poor retainers are bursting at the seams. Got all my DoL jobs at 90, crafters are all over 80, DNC is 90, MCH and BRD are 85, rest are between 54 and 73. Hubby has almost everything at 90 now but he’s a much braver player than I am, I worry too much about messing up.

We’re on Phoenix, European server.

 

I just started playing a couple months ago and am still trying to pace myself thru this HUGE game lol. I know I’m super late, like none of my friends that played before do anymore, but I’m still having fun playing my healer au’ra in Zalera

 

So, I recently Fantasia'd from my twunk Miquo'te into a pastel female Lalafell and I gotta say... it's almost like running around with a fresh coat of paint. Naturally, Robert Cattinson no longer works for her, so I've switched to Shin Smasher (still on Ultros). I've finally dipped into the level 90 normal and alliance raids and they've been an absolute trip, I'm a little sad that I'm all caught up now though!

I made a male Viera on the side named Cinnabun Crunch, who I have on standby if I want to re-experience MSQ again at my leisure... maybe in the next few years haha.

 

Update to my FFXIV doll journey. I ended up getting my Viera boy made into a Nendoroid doll. He's a little delicate so he's just for display, not play. But I love him to death and so does my lil' G'raha amigurumi~ (this is Brigadoon so off-topic dolls/figures are good, right?)

 

I FINALLY got my hands on a Y'shtola for a custom of my girl...now I just need to get better at braiding. XD

 

She looks so good. I think the braids look good.

 

I love FFXIV! I play a little purple lalafell on Crystal named Nugnuggy Nuggy, the lore-appropriate chicken nugget lol. I recently shelled my lalafellin self as a littlefee, so here’s Lil’ Nugget in all her sweatpants wearing glory :P

 

Sleepy Sheepys dreams on insta is currently working on a doll that's meant to have lalafell specific proportions if your interested.

When i last checked i had 6 or 7k hours on ff14. It is a great game, but i am a little burnt out so i am on a break for now. Played SMN as my main and was usually a lalafell or miqote I did not care for the lore like most people, but savage raiding, ultimates and collecting minions/mounts was super fun and kept me interested. It is one of those games that i will keep on coming back to. ​

 

My next custom is going to be my main...I have the doll, clothes, etc on the way but I'm so excited I can't wait. I even bought him a mini soul stone, lol

@Weslie oh my goodness! I love her ears! Did you make those or buy those? I've been trying to think the best way to get my bun boy his ears so I wanna hear from other viera.

I especially love you stuck with the nose in the face up! So cute.

 

I used a dollzone sculpt which I cut the ears off of, then added magnets, then put magnets in my doll's headcap. They are actually a bit heavy at times so I have some alternatives, but they are beautiful and elegant.

I mostly played when new expansions came out in the recent years because I was too busy for playing regularly, but this is pretty much my favourite game. I'm also planning on turning my character into a doll, but I'm still looking for the right one. (I already spend hours looking at hundreds of dolls, haha...)

Decided to share a recent screenshot of my cat boy V'khali. I actually got a 3D printed head of him I commissioned and now trying to find a body I like. Have to say quite hard since I'm trying to find one around 72cm now in a darker tone for him.

 

I hear you @RoyalRegals I want to shell my bunny boy but I know finding the perfect body is going to be a nightmare. The head hopefully won't be to bad, but finding a 68 cm body in a darker skin tone that actually matches him is going to be just unbearably difficult. Then making sure the head fits on the body...Ugh....It'll be worth it though. I already have my Miqo girl and favorite NPC shelled and I just adore them. So I know the payoff will be well worth it but man....getting there is scream inducing lol.

And don't even get me started on getting them proper outfits T_T

 

Ain't gonna lie, I bought that dollzone cat they had rereleased recently, they had all kinds of options for darker colors. The head is very cool so this is in no way a loss for me if it doesn't work out, but the 68 body just seemed exactly what I needed looking at it online.

Being dollzone, I probably won't see him for a year. It'll give me a chance to see if I can also ask through AC if I could order some jointed hands special. I am In no mood to dye such delicate parts.

Considering how modern some glams could be, you could always tell yourself some of the "normal" clothes work. Or just buy a maid outfit and call it a day, lol, I know I see that glam plenty.

I personally figured I would be fiddling with those thin sheets of foam since armor is essential for my guy, what with being a tank main and all. That ala mhigan fending set is gonna be the death of me.

It sure will pay off in the end just gotta keep searching! If it comes down to it I will dye it myself to try and get the color I want that way. I recently figured what body type I want a much slimmer, lean and with minimal muscles, something like Vings, but as usual with larger doll sizes most dolls are too muscular anyways. But of course no darker shades offered. I have to say I start to wondering if his head would look right on any bodies now. O-O
Seems like there are more challenges that gets added on >.<
Anyways, I know of a few that does darker color, but I forgot some companies. I hope you can find something that fits your bunboi!

Also do you have pictures of your dolls anywhere to see? I love looking at others FFXIV dolls they are always amazing!

 

It will. I'm sure I will find a good sculpt, I just need to be patient. I have been meaning to just post a pic of him on here and see if anyone has any ideas, but I just moved and am not in a good spot to get another doll. Deep down I think I know I am going to have to just dye a body (probably Doll Family H 68 cm ver. 2) but I have had mixed results so I am really nervous about it.

As for my already shelled dolls, here they are. Luna, my main, a Miqo'te bard, Aymeric my favorite NPC, and Aquaria, Luna's chocobo. All three still need a lot of work, but at least Luna has an outfit I like. I tried to get Aymeric a nice suit, but it was way too small. So still searching for something he can wear that will at least suit him even if not be something he would wear in game.

I've got my own WoL doll all planned out but it'll be a while till I have the funds for the project.
