single doll casting?

    1. Hello, I hope this is the correct place to ask this! I was wondering if it's possible to send doll files to someone ELSE to have them print just a single doll? Is this something that is considered a commission to an artist with a 3D printer? Do people accept these types of jobs? How much on average would this cost? I don't have a printer myself so I am curious how I can get a doll printed with files.

    2. SyntheticEphemera on Instagram does this! They will print files for you (as long as the files are yours or you have documented permission to print them).

      They also provide scanning services for hand-sculpted dolls/parts (something I'm quite excited about trying in the future). I don't know how their prices compared to others (I'm sure there are other people who also provide these printing/scanning services) but I've been following them for a while and the quality of their work looks good!

    4. I came upon Synthetic Ephemera completely by accident, so I understand that! Maybe looking at some of the hashtags they use will help you find some other services if you need them!
