Props Simple Holiday Gift Tutorial

With the holidays coming up, I thought I'd share a quick tutorial on making BJD sized gifts.
These work well for all sized dolls in my opinion.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

1. A Small Box(I'm using one from my over the counter heartburn medication haha.)
2. Wrapping Paper(This is the perfect use for your leftover scraps!)
3. Clear Tape(double sided tape works well too, if you prefer)
4. Scissors
5. Ribbon(I prefer plastic, but cloth ribbon works too)
6. Bows(Optional)

Start by wrapping your box as you would any Holiday/Christmas present. I try to cut the tape as small as possible to keep it less noticeable.

Next wrap your ribbon around the gift. I personally like to cut two separate pieces of ribbon and tape it in the center. I found this makes it lay flatter for photos, but you can always just tie one long piece of ribbon around the box if you find that easier.

Next, attach your bow, and you're done! (Optional: you can add a small bit of glue to the bottom of the bow to better secure it.) If you'd like to skip this step or don't have any small bows, you can use your ribbon to tie a bow on the top of the gift instead.

This can also be used to make Birthday present props, depending on what kind of paper you have!
