I'm not the world's best knitter but i made this pattern and it works really well on my twins. Using 4mm needles cast on 38 stitches Rows 1-6 K2 P2 to end 7-9 Knit 10 K17 K2tog K17 K2 tog (34 st) 11-15 Knit 16 K3 K2tog to end 17 knit 18 K3 K2 tog to end 19 knit repeat until you have six stitches remaining last row - K1 K2tog K1 K2tog (4 st) cast off sew along seam and congratulations, you have a beanie hat. For an SD I'd suggest you add more stitches on the opening row but I haven't stretched the pattern yet. Enjoy. I'll post pictures later.
Awsome pattern thanks! I myslef am now scouering the DoA forums for knitting patterns. This one was really good. Please post more.
there are a lot of patterns on www.denofangels.com/patterns, the last link is knitting patterns and they are really good. I've just made an off the shoulder sweater which is just as easy Cast on 35-40 st (depending on the size of your doll, ie if your doll has bigger or smaller hips just ass or subtract st) for an Sd 45-50 st stockingette until you reach the desired length, (ie 2 inches for a shortie top, 5 inches for a long top, 10 inches for a dress) cast off turn to wrong side, sew together seams leaving a hole for the arm. Congratulations you have a really adaptable sweater.
