I am still thrilled with having found my Siean Elf in the Marketplace and she is still getting the lion’s share of the new clothing here!! This new gown that I made for her is a fantasy version - with deeply draped sleeves - and silvery gores to the skirt. The fabric is a soft, slinky fabric with metallic thread throughout. Slippery to sew - as was the silvery fabric that I used in the sleeve linings and as the gores. Not sure that red is Siean’s color tho…. In the last two photos, Siean stands with her horse, Brandy. He is a modified Nahar from SLD. I modded and painted him some years back. He still doesn’t have any tack tho, sadly. Siean is an older Fairyland Feeple65 Siean Elf head on an older, modified Iplehouse small bust SID (original version) body - which I loved for her! She wears her sterling silver Evenstar necklace (emerald cz stones) and a Leekeworld wig that I thinned (so her ears would show!!). with a flash and with Brandy
Oh, she is stunning! And the drape of the gown is gorgeous! Did you buy the pattern somewhere, or create it yourself?
She's absolutely gorgeous, and the battle with sewing the fabric really paid off as the dress is stunning!
Oooh I love elf Siean, she's such a fantastic sculpt! She looks so sweet and beautiful and the gown you made her is so stunning!! It fits her so beautifully. ❤️
Thank you @Amet ! Thanks so much @dm_sof !! I created the pattern myself - started from a drawing of an extant gown from 1450 and did a lot of work to make it fit various BJD bodies. These sleeves, and the gores, are a new addition to the pattern. Thank you @CheshireCat ! Thanks so much @IzabethS !! I do so adore Siean! I looked for her for years. Thanks so much @Ctrowbridge77 !! I was *so* lucky to find Siean on the Marketplace! and to have her head painted by AngelToast was incredibly lucky! She’s certainly getting most of the clothing I’ve been making since she arrived! This Iplehouse body looks great in everything too - such a wonderful shape. Thank you @Kaila!
That's so cool! Looking at a picture and creating a pattern from it is a great skill, and not easy at all. You did a really great job!
She looks so happy to be there and the dress is so beautifully made--I love the seam detail and how perfectly it fits her!
Wow she's so beautiful, I LOVE her dress! It looks so soft and i love the sparkly fabric... and the background! ♥ is it based on Greece?
