Hi everyone! I started this project a couple months ago, stopped for awhile, and just in the last few days picked it up again. My friend and I have been writing a novel called Omerta: Reaping Whirlwinds for years now and she has one of the Omerta protagonists in (gigantic!) doll form, and I wanted a doll of my protag in scale with hers. But I'm really particular about how my characters look, so I decided to make her from scratch for the perfect face sculpt and body type! Here's her planning sketch: And here's where she's at right now: View attachment 503 View attachment 504 View attachment 505 Just wanted to share because I'm quite proud of what I've done so far. Hope you like her!
Thanks, ghostdollie! Made some more progress. She's got brand new legs now (I had made another attempt a few months ago when I started her and then scrapped and rejuvenated their clay) and the starts of her arms! Oh, I like her a lot! Really lovely body shape - and I think you're going to get a lot of flexibility out of the placement of the joints in your plan. She looks like she's coming along beautifully!
It's been a while! Thanks for the kinda comments! I have some new progress! Head to toe, so far. Her head is almost done (except the inside), and I have the base for everything but the hands now. Feetsies!
Wow this is a really cool project, you're doing wonderful! The hips will probably need a better angle to let the legs bend forward, but thats simple to check later
