We need one of these every year, right? Introduce us to your furry, feathery or scaly friends! Here's mine. Xochitl, the Siberian Husky with a Nahuatl name: And Noodle, the tortoiseshell tabby: They are both three years old. The dog is exactly two weeks older than the cat, but they both came to live with us on the same day. ^^
oh goodness Myuuchan your Cat and dog are so Cute here a picture of my cat Gunner he's 5/6 years old and I've owned him for two years now and i can't imagine my life without him. This was taken a year and a half ago, but he still looks the same. Timmy by aernath, on Flickr The fish. The purple one (The Fish Formerly Known as Prince) and the orange one (Pauper) are still here, and there is another yellow one not in this photo. This was taken about a year ago, so only the Prince and Pauper are left of the ones in this photo. I need to get a new one taken. lol A little bit of Halloween. by aernath, on Flickr Sidekick, the momma cat here, came to our back door this past winter. Took her three tries to get past Miranda, but she finally got in and stayed. She was pregnant. Had four kittens a month or two later! We found homes for three of them, but the last one has stayed with us, and is now called Amelia. Sidekick and Amelia by aernath, on Flickr

Cute enough to eat...? by vicemage, on Flickr This fuzzy brat who has decided to sit in my snack box for some reason is Dante, my 14-year-old calico monster. I've had him quite literally since birth; his mother arrived as sort of a double-rescue in my parents' house back when I was in college, and managed to sneak out before she could be spayed, resulting in four cats for the (free) price of one! Since he followed me around all the time, I ended up taking him with me when I moved out a couple of years later. His brothers sadly passed a couple of years ago, but he's still a feisty little demon.
This is my beautiful angel, Maddie. She's an American Eskimo Dog, or Spitz, barely 65 cm at the shoulder. She passed away just last month at the age of 16. I will bring another dog home eventually, but for now I'm remembering her and taking time to adjust. I shot this picture just after we moved into our home, and she got her own backyard for the first time in ages. She was delighted!
Here's a couple of years old pic of the bestest thing I have in my life. Zac is a longhaired (semi long) pyrenean shepherd, and he's turning nine this December. He's my first own dog and he's really the only reason I have to get up in the morning
Siggy, my adorable one eyed brat princess who rules the roost Odin, my adorable one eyed gargoyle gecko I apparently collect one eyed pets
My little ladies, Sadie and Bitsy! (Bitsy is technically more DragonMouse's dog, but I'm the one paying for the kibble, so... XD ) Sadie (the fawn one) is a Boston Terrier-Pug mix, and just turned 14. Bitsy (the brindle baby) is a French Bulldog-Pug mix, and she is 5 and 1/2.

Holy crow Shawnee, that's half a zoo! I am currently owned by two lolcats: Carter, aka Mr. Fuzzybottom: and Nala, aka Miss Stinkypie, who absolutely has to place her fluffy behind everywhere it doesn't belong:
Such beautiful pets! My cat just celebrated his ninth birthday yesterday; I'll have to see if I can find a (recent) photo of him to share.
Not all my pets, but my most recent pictures :3 Bosco, my papillon. Janus Nyx, leopard gecko Morgana, ground squirrel.
Everyone has such cute pets! Although, as a cat person I must admit that I'm more drawn towards the kitties, haha! xD Shawnee, your Ragdoll girls are beautiful! I'd love to get a Ragdoll someday~ Currently I don't have a pet of my own as I feel that my apartment is too small... but whenever I visit my parents, I get to baby their black cat named Valtteri: Alert by mizya, on Flickr He doesn't like being photographed at all, so I mainly have photos of him turning away from the camera, lol! He's the complete opposite of our previous cat, who would always come roll in the background when I was photographing dolls... But Valtteri is a real sweetheart, I wish I could see him more often~
Omg I love pet threads everyone's look so cute... and there are some massive animal families out there! Mine is small, here's my white russian cat called Beatrix. He's polydactyl so has thumbs too! Beatrix by Kamia Keller, on Flickr
This is Tessa! I rescued her when she was 3 weeks old, after her and her siblings were abandoned. She's the Queen of this household.
my fatty cat, Kalee Apperantly my cat missed me. by Irene, on Flickr and my betta Pongo (he used to be polkadotted) Redid the fishtank by Irene, on Flickr I have another fish tank, but its just random plattys and neons and one lone shrimp who is a survivor. I want a puppy so badly but am having a hard time convincing myself of it because im not home a lot. and also cause my cat is anti everything.
This is my little rat-dog, Armani. We adopted her from a shelter, and according to them she's a 6 year old Rat Terrier, but we think she may be slightly older, and probably a rattie mix. She thinks she's a cat. XD We've had her for three and a half years.
This is Loki, he is a silver Ragamuffin He has a bit of an obsession with shoes .. he is always stealing mine >_<
I love the variety of critters! I want to pet them all. XD Except maybe the fish. Fish don't take to petting too well.
I have two other babies, but no new or good pictures...so here is the Goze-beast... Full name: Gozer the Destructor. She wanted in on a doll photohoot and I had to accommodate her.
Always love seeing people's pets! My cat, Flash, is approaching 9 1/2 years - I wish I got to sleep as much as he does!
I have two English Bulldogs. One of them is just 2 years old and the other is 8 months. Their names are Onslow and Daisy (yes, totally named after the best characters in Keeping Up Appearances!) Here is a picture I took of my handsome big boy Onslow just today: Onslow by thedarkeststar13, on Flickr[/IMG] And here's a picture of both of them from this March when Daisy was still baby-sized: little distractions by thedarkeststar13, on Flickr[/IMG] And here's my pretty Daisy girl now that she's as big as her brother (they are actual brother and sister from different litters) Daisyface! by thedarkeststar13, on Flickr[/IMG] I love my bully babies
I love seeing the huskies~ I have a husky named Kane, Pug named Mikey and a Boston terrier named Jules. My Boston is the youngest. Here's a pic of my cat and Jules, my Boston
This is so exciting seeing everyone's pets! So this is Chatlotte my Puppy Japanese chin ( she's huge compared to my others) and Mr. Darcy my cavalier King Charles Spaniel And then my rescue Chins. Kyan is older and no one wanted her as she's not as cute as her black and white daughter Elizabeth. So I just took them both...
All the pets are so darned cute! Love the Bulldogs and Clumber Spaniel. This is Nicky Buttercup, Alix, Luna (passed away in January) Charlie , Nicky. This is Scrappy.. We rescued Harry from a kill shelter last week.

Lovelovelove threads like this!! Furbabies!! I have 3 dogs of my own, 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgis (Kairi & Zelda) and an Alaskan Husky (Barrin)~ Zelda & Kairi by Tina, on Flickr Barrin by Tina, on Flickr Zelda, Kairi, & Barrin by Tina, on Flickr Kairi is 11.5 years old; Zelda is 1 year old; Barrin is 6 years old. :3 They were named after the princess of heart, the princess of hyrule, and the legendary master-wizard!
Yoshi, my Manx, my first cat, the Alpha of the house: Goten, my Mom's creamsicle kitten (aka "Minion", aka "Beta") and Denzel, my Mom's Norwegian Forest Cat (aka "the last one out of the breeder's entire stock still alive", aka "the good die young; ergo he'll outlive us all"): Kenshin, my Japanese Bobtail, the cat that cried for the entire 6+ hour ride from Virginia to New Jersey. (who passed away 2 years ago this Christmas Day; aka "the hair chewer"): Gaara, the cat we found in my grandmother's backyard. At the time, he was surviving on grasshoppers and other bugs. Now, we call him Chubby Huggs: Severus, my Bombay. Also known as the Flash, or Claude Rains: L, Mom's Boston Terrier cat. The cat who tries to steal chicken off the table: Saru, our feral boy. He who lived on the streets for 12 years, ever since the people across the street threw him out in the middle of a blizzard. He who taught L how to attempt to steal food. He who showed our other cats how to kill mice. The cat with the saddest eyes I've ever seen, and the largest heart. Who passed away 4 years ago: Gallifrey, our part-Bobtail Ingenue. The cat that hits you when you give her treats: Sigerson, the cat we adopted after Saru's death. Our distrustful shelter cat, who sat in a corner and growled at us, leaves, passersby, dust motes, everything and anything. The cat who has wound up replacing Kenshin as the cat that sleeps on my bed with me: Pandora, our tortoiseshell Diva. She who books through the house and takes guff from no one. And Maximoff, my Mom's Maine Coon. Our youngest and most already almost our largest. Plays hard, sleeps hard:
Aww I love animals! This thread is so cute!!! I have to add my little Boston Terrier called Bug. He is 3 in November but still looks and acts like a tiny puppy
Aww, so many great pictures of beautiful pets! I'm one one of those animal-mad people, so its been a joy to see everyone's little companions. Here are my two guinea-girls, Kurt and Lulu: and our family dog, Tiffy, who is now 14! We're also hoping to bring a puppy home next year...likely a Bernese Mountain Dog, or Newfoundland.
I always love this thread :3 This is my Pit bull retriever mix. His name is Duke. And my cats, Simon is the orange one. Dimitri is the black one.
Ok, this might, um, take a while... I'm going to post some of my pets that have passed but for certain reasons I still consider them part of my pet family that need to be mentioned. These are certainly not all the pets I've had in my life. That would take all day. My southern flying squirrels... Note: southern flying squirrels are legal to have as pets in Texas. Penny and Otis were hand raised by Judy Call (a very well known wildlife rehabilitator who specialized in squirrels, especially flyers) and adopted by me when they were babies (I think Penny was 11 weeks and Otis was 7 weeks). Penny was adopted in the fall, Otis the following spring, and a year later they had one litter of three babies. I kept all of them and socialized them from birth, but let Penny nurse them. Once they were juveniles I moved the boys to the bottom part of Otis's large cage with a partition that was eventually removed. Cassie stayed with Penny in the girl cage. Penny, Otis, and one of the babies, Cassie, have passed, but I still have the two boys, Hector and Archie. Penny (RIP) Very sweet and petite girl. She was my first flyer and she still lives in my heart. She was amazing. Otis (RIP) The big daddy. He was adorable. And very handsome. Penny surrounded by her babies (Archie, Hector, and Cassie) in my robe pocket. I called this my squirrel robe. Penny gliding! Now for the dogs... Mitzi (front) and Milo (back) have both passed. Mitzi 12+ years ago, Milo in June. Still heartbroken about both. Mitzi was pure love. Milo was a little clown. Milo with puppy Ren. We adopted Ren after Mitzi passed. Monte! Adopted him when we moved to a house with a larger yard. He's freaking adorable. Ren and Monte are getting up there in age (10+). They are very happy and love attention. I've taken Monte to my daughter's elementary school Pet Parade, which they hold around Halloween. On to the cats... Yes, they're all named after Jane Austen characters. It seems the boys don't like taking pics. They hang out in cardboard boxes. The girls are always with me. Emma Woodhouse She takes a nap in bed with me every day. [Knightley--gray medium fur male] Elizabeth Bennett Largest cat in the house and is afraid of the other girls. I don't know why. [Darcy--looks like his sister Gigi below, but medium fur length] Emma (front) with Gigi (Georgiana Darcy) Gigi is the spoiled brat who thinks she's queen. Emma is the real queen.
What a fun thread, Everyone has such great pets it is so much fun to see pictures of them. I will add a few of mine as well This is Ralph here 100_0591 by Stormyhorse, on Flickr This is fancy 100_4626 by Stormyhorse, on Flickr and this is my little princess/evil monster bunny named baby (I need to give her a better name). Thank you! They're very tiny and soft. I used to take Penny to work with me and she would sleep in my cardigan. My students loved it.
Here are my darlings! Greer is a chihuahua and 9 years old. She has the heart of labrador and enjoys going on nature hikes, especially if she can climb up a hill and be taller than everyone. Greer glasses by Redrosette, on Flickr Heimdall is almost 2 and a Norwegian Forest Cat. Basically a smaller Maine Coon. HE IS SO FLUFFY AND SOFT. And he is a love, despite being grumpy I'm not currently filling him with food in this photo. Heimdall by Redrosette, on Flickr
This is Polly. She's half Icelandic Sheepdog, half Border Collie. She's very smart, she's learned to open doors by herself and she's also learned to high five just by watching me and my husband do it. She's also very clumsy, she gets too excited. She's run into a completely still car, a couple of doors, and an electric fence (the last terrified me, but she turned out to be okay). She's very polite to my dolls though, never has she bumped into them, she's very careful around them. She probably knows they're important to me. We call her "The Grinder" as a joke, because she's extremely quick to eat anything she's given, and demolishes bones in seconds. She's very strong, but actually pretty easily scared, even of things she could easily overpower (like the chicken at our farm). She has a natural herding instinct, but is too scared of everything she could potentially herd. She loves games and cuddles, and apart from bones balls of snow are her favorite toy. (Sorry about all the text, I got all "proud doggy mother" for a bit)
Squiggles by Bunny+Bee, on Flickr This is squiggles. He's kinda uhh maybe a kitten in a cat body? He's three and a living tornado at time. He only wants to be loved at around 3 a.m. Face in a box by Bunny+Bee, on Flickr This is a slightly younger squigs with his head in a box and next to my dearly beloved Fatty who passed away earlier this year. She was my soul cat and the meanest, awesomest, neediest cat that ever lived. She also went by double mc fatty with cheese, princess flufferbottoms, and fatty two fats. No shame by Bunny+Bee, on Flickr This isnt even my cat, but that is my toilet. Best thread ever. So many amazing pets!

Wow, That is so cool that you could do that with Penny, Your students must have fond memories of that and Penny sounds like she was a total sweetheart! I really love seeing the wide variety of pets everyone has
Thank you. She was extremely special and tame. She even let me and my children handle her newborn babies when they were a day old. Not typical behavior at all. She was so socialized that I think she thought we were all squirrels, too. LOL Here she is letting me pet her while her two week old babies are right there. And my then-three year old getting some pets in.
