I think this is kind of cool!! It's good on both ends. Company can make one more profit, and the body can stay on the market if sold to someone with the initiative to keep producing them.
I like the idea too. There are so many sculpts that disappeared forever when the company went out of business.
It's one heck of an investment to have to make though! It would take selling at least 20-30 bodies to make up the cost. Depending on what you sell them for, assuming your selling price is between a fairly common SD price point of $300-$400 per body. And that is IF you don't include the cost of having them actually cast (materials to do it yourself, or sending it to an outside caster like Haru or Weiju) Yes, you have 6 bodies to choose from, and the ladies have options, but that's A LOT for a start-up company to sell. I think this listing will be either snatched up rather quickly by an already established company, or it will sit for a good while waiting for someone to come up with the money for it.
