I just got my first dollfie four days ago and right now all she has to wear is some american girl clothes, which are HUGE on her and could be sleepwear. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites for some cheap clothes? I'm really short on cash right now, or maybe some really easy pattern? I'm not that good at sewing either Thanks guys!!
Personally I would check ebay (the american one.) There are some really cute outfits on there. Prices are not bad Like this one for ten bucks
Diefbaby in the Commission section of the marketplace makes very affordable clothing of nice quality. ^_^

Make clothes out of socks!! Like tube tops and skirts...or dresses...I make beanies, leg warmers, and the occasional shirt from socks! XD
Socks. ^-~ I own one outfit that I purchased and I've been sewing many, many others. The easiest, cheapest outfits are socks. You can have halters, tank tops, dresses, skirts... With just a few snips of scissors. ^^
Here's an example of a top made by just cutting the folded cuff off a child's sock from K-mart. I don't remember what size sock I used - I just tried stretching the cuffs by hand and picked something that seemed like it would stretch at least as big as her hips (so I could slide it up). Carolyn
I have done the sock thing too, especially for super cheap holiday clothing like Valentine's, St. Patricks, Halloween, in fact all of them. We have a Kohl's store in our area and they always have those socks on sale. I can usually get a cute little dress for well under $5.
THESE ARE THE TEEN TRENDS OUTFITS I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! FOR LIKE EVAR! Lol. I wish I had cash and an ebay account...I really want them. Here you go: http://dolls.search.ebay.com/teen-trends_Barbie-Contemporary-1973-Now_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR8QQsacatZ15949QQsubmitsearchZSearch
you could always go to your local thrift store/salvation army/goodwill store and buy kids socks, plsue they have bag days and its a great way to get some great patterned fabric in smaller pieces for little money.
search this for the teen trends: http://search.ebay.com/search/searc...action=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search there are more choices! some of the teen trends pants dont fit my girl.
here is a pattern site for msd & others you can experiment with the maker actually is on DOA. It has slopers for MSD also. http://www.trimline.addr.com/undead/patterns.htm and here is another: http://www.lovereplica.com/yume/patterns/patterns.html I have not actually made anything from these sites. So I don't know how they will fit.
