How did you pick your shop name? I'm still thinking about it, mostly because the ones I came up with are already taken... Now I want to find one with my initials because I'd like to use a logo that has my initials in it. When I did a dollmaking course a while ago the teacher told me I needed a logo to sign my dolls with. I'd like to continue using it for my future BJDs. Maybe even by carving it inside the headcap.
I've been using different nicknames and logos since I was 12, and since they were fortunately neutral (not xXxanimegurl69xXx, u know) I plan to use those. My initials happen to match some well known companies so no luck in that sense :'D
my initials are R B so shorten it won't work because it'll become a music genre XD but I like my logo, it sort of look like a flower... I was thinking of something with "rose" or "red" because my name means red and my doll has the name of a flower I wonder how it'll sound like in another language... does calling it 'ruby blue' make sense? I'm ninive since when I started using online forums I do have another one and little variations (like ninive_rb) but I only use them when 'ninive' is already taken. but I don't want to just call it "ninive dolls"
Sort of, it's spelled Ninive in my language. But when I found it it was in a book and I didn't know it really existed, I just liked how it sounded.
Yes, perfect sense! Ruby is just a red sapphire, after all. Corundum is corundum, be it red, blue, pink, or green.
So I have a name after all XD I checked and even though there are already a few things called "Ruby Blue" none seem to be particularly popular and none related to dolls. It's after my name, it has my initials and blue is my favourite color I like it
