He was born in Kyouto looooong time ago (He'd prefer to die than confess the exact date, but I suppose it'd have been around the end of Tokugawa period), into a Gion okiya. He's the son of a Geisha.
Geisha's world, as any other small universe, of course have its own rules and regulaments and one of these says that if a Geisha is gets pregnant and give birth to a girl, then she could keep her baby in the Okiya with her and instruct her to follow her own path.
Instead, boys cannot live into the okiya with them. Geisha that have unluckly given birth to a boy were obliged give their babies away and it was a common thing in the past to give pretty male children to Kabuki Theatres companies which would make them become wakashu actors). When she find out that he had given birth to a boy, she decided to not tell to anyone the truth and soon everyone believe that she had been given birth to a girl. Needles to say, Miyon has been instructed to become a perfect geisha and thanks to his incredbile beauty and grace nobody would even doubt about his true identity.
As soon as he became adult he took the name of Miyon (美園 "The beauty of Gion") and he become one of the most aspired Maiko (Apprendix Geisha) of the whole Kyouto. Of course, he keeps hiding his true identity to everyone and that mysterious aura around him made him even more attractive...but he was a boy...and nobody except his mother knew it...
Why he's a doll now? Well...he hasn't told me this yet. I can only say that the first time he couldn't even stand with throusers on! XD That's why even now, he's still more comfortable with skirts.

When he arrived here he told me to give him a new name, because Miyon was the name he used when he was a Geisha, but now he isn't a Geisha anymore. So I decided to call him SYBERT (the name of a very old animated cartoon which the main character was a baby seal ^_^;; ) but he got very angry about it! So he decided to call himself DOUVAL Because he says "It's a very superb name!"....yeah.... )

He loves his little sister, and she loves to tease him. He's also recently become a father, both through adoption and by the usual means.
