I've always had a passion for creating my own characters through art, so the BJD hobby was a niche pastime rabbit-hole I was destined to fall into! ^.^ I like how it fuses different creative energies together and challenges you on a completely new level.

I offer an airbrush matching service under special conditions (please see blog for further details).



PLEASE NOTE: This service is not valid for complete re-colouring (e.g. turning white skin into normal skin). If you have a custom colour matching request, ask me beforehand and I will check if it is within my capabilities.

I also cannot guarantee I can colour modded areas that are not white (e.g. grey epoxy). Please contact me beforehand about your specific head. I will have to turn down commissions if the modding is too severe or dark for me to colour with my current set of tools.

You are required to send a piece of resin or body part (preferably torso, hands are also alright) that has the colour you wish for the head. If a torso piece is sent it is often wise to match the neck to head as well, this way it becomes even more accurate.

The procedure is tricky and that is why I must ask for your understanding that I cannot achieve a 100 % match. Furthermore, I cannot change the opacity of the resin. Meaning, if the head is darker to begin with, it will still be darker after the matching, its skin tone will just be corrected.

I send the commission form attached to the email confirming your slot. Every slot counts for up to three heads.

Once I receive the heads I will begin working immediately. I will work on the heads first come first served to avoid major delaying.
I do take work in progress pictures. I will send you one whenever I complete a new stage of the faceup.

You may tell me to change or tweak anything if you want to, but I expect a speedy reply because I do not like having an unfinished head lying around.

Please take note that at all stages of the faceup only additive changes can be made (making colours darker, adding more lines etc.) paint/blushing cannot be removed once it is set so your feedback on the WIP pictures is valuable!

When you have seen all the WIP pictures and given me the nod of approval. I will calculate the total + shipping.

Once I have received the payment I send the head(s) back on their way to you. I calculate the commission by materials and amount of hours I work.

Prices:

SD+ Size
1 Faceup = 1 head = 75 USD / 70 €
2 Faceups = 2 heads = 133 USD / 125 €
3 Faceups = 3 heads = 192 USD / 180 €

MSD and smaller sizes
1 Faceup = 1 head = 65 USD / 60 €
2 Faceups = 2 heads = 105 USD / 100 €
3 Faceups = 3 heads = 165 USD / 160 €

Payment:

I accept payment via paypal only, I do not charge paypal fees.
For EU customers I require the payments to be made in Euros.

Other fees:

• Lashes I have in stock = 6 USD / 5 €
• Eyelash application if you provide your own = free of charge
• Airbrush matching service = 15 USD / 10 €
• Beard/facial hair service = 25 USD / 20 €
• Faceup Removal = 12 USD / 10 €
• Hand blushing = 12 USD / 10 €

Terms & Conditions

If you are not happy with the result of the faceup then it means something about my interpretation doesn't appeal to you. I regret if this should ever be the case, but I cannot offer a free do-over because of the cost of the materials and the time. If you want the faceup to be re-done, you will need to pay the full price again. I always do my best to capture what you want, but bear in mind that it can still differ from the image in your head.

If you requested eyelashes to be installed into your dolls head, please send your doll with a face protector (always recommended).

I do not offer any kind of resin modification.
I do not work on recasts.

Shipping:

You pay shipping both ways, to me and back.
When I have received your payment I will wrap the head up and send it back to you.

Usually I need 1-3 business days to send out packages.

I will use the same packaging the head came in to send it back to you, I will add extra wrapping if I feel the head needs more protection. Remember to ship your doll with a face protector if you want eyelashes installed, otherwise they will get messed up during transit.

Shipping with DHL is always insured and you have tracking.

Estimate shipping costs:

Domestic: ~ 8€
Within the EU & International: ~ will be calculated individually

Depending on size and weight of the package, costs may vary.

Important for non-EU customers!

If you insure and declare your item at full value, it will get stuck in customs and I have to pay fees to get it out. Not to mention fetch it from the customs office which isn't located very near where I live. These fees will be added to your total charge!

You can either, send it in a small package and hope it will slip through (it has happened) however it is not guaranteed.
Or, you declare it's value below 30 $ and mark the package as a "gift".

If you choose to do so it is your own responsibility if the package gets lost or damaged in transit.

I am not responsible for missing/damaged packages. I only do the work, your shipping choice is your own. Once the doll is in transit back to you, I am not responsible for any damage that might occur in transit.

 

Slots are OPEN! Accepting maximum of three to five heads p/mo.
More open slots may become available in the future, but for now, this is all I can handle
