Hello! I'm back with another OC to shell! Here's my previous thread, where I shelled another ghost OC from the same book series. I recently ordered a Dream Valley Achelous on a B4-15 body, which I won't be seeing for a while lol. His little smirk was just perfect for my OC, Crow. Here's Crow, a blind ghost. (art by me) Note: Unlike Webb in my previous thread, I'm prooobably not going to be making his weapons. TO-DO: Aquire materials (Dye, fabric, etc...). (DONE!) Order custom solid white eyes. (DONE!) Aquire and modify wig. (DONE!) Aquire crow friends. (DONE!) His shirt and pants have been ordered, but will need to be modified. Make his sun-patterned wrap. (DONE!) Make his tattered cloak. Make shackles. (DONE!) Dye head and body a custom tan color. Face-up. Mod scars on his back and his brand on his arm. Spoiler: Here's what I have so far! Fabric, crow buddies, shackles
So here's Webb modeling Crow's wig. It's supposed to be messy and crazy because his hair probably hasn't been brushed in literal centuries. Dude's been too busy doing other stuff. I also sewed in some strands of gray thread because he's got quite a few gray hairs in canon, but you can't really see them all that well in the photo.
His wrap is done! And of course, the kitten had to give her opinion. Spoiler: And here's how it looks on our model! Next up, the tattered cloak! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Well hello! It's been a while! So I'm back with some updates! First of all, I updated Crow's ref sheet. We're going for a cleaned-up version of the bottom left outfit. Yes, Crow has many outfits. Spoiler: Content Warning: Illustrations shows scars (Yes, Tamzi and Crow are the same person) Dream Valley Achelous arrived! (And I immediately had to sand down that pointy nose of his LOL) And I threw him into a dye pot! ᕕ( ᐕ )ᕗ Aaaaaaand he turned out ORANGE. I took photos of him and all his cheeto puff glory, but honestly, pics just don't do justice do how ORANGE he was. So then I tossed him in a jar with acetone-free nail polish remover for a few minutes and stripped all the dye off. Then I threw him back in the dye. And he turned out orange again! I didn't even use orange in the dye mixture this time??? Ugh. So back into the nail polish remover to soak he went. Didn't bother redying him after that. Once he was dried off from the nail polish remover, his color actually looked...decent? Not exactly what I was going for, but I'll take it over ORANGE. What a journey. Tada. Here he is with his nephew, Webb. His shackles are done, he's got a spear from Dream Valley (also dyed!) I made him some jewlery because he likes shiny things. His custom blind eyes also look great and shimmery! I also remade his sun shawl because the other one was awkwardly large on him. So. What's next? I want to add more fringe and gold trim to his clothing. I'm going to sculpt some jeweled rings on him. Face-up, obviously. Need to paint over the sanded spot on the tip of his nose where the dye didn't take. He needs his back scars and the mark on his forearm.
