Whoops! Let me try that again: Imgur: The magic of the Internet Actually, I just made an album of most of my quarantine sewing projects. Some are rewarding, most are frustrating haha: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
@ittybittykittyz Lovely! I particularly like the last dress, the blue one with a sheer layer. The fit on all of the outfits is excellent!
Thank you so much! I based that dress off of one of @_quinnasaurus’s drawings on insta. Thank you! I still haven’t figured out how to include pics in my comments, how did you do that?
@ittybittykittyz You are welcome I used the link that shows when you open the photo then right click on the photo and save image link. Then to post here, click on the image icon (looks like a landscape) and inset the link (click on Insert button)
@ittybittykittyz did the sewing! I just posted the pic to show her doll. Her pics were not showing up in her post.
Speaking of sleeves, putting them in is a bit tiresome so I’ve started making puffy removable ones with an elastic at the top. Easy peasy AND you get 2 outfits in one! Really happy with this new one, it’s a separate skirt, top and sleeves so you could mix n match for separate outfits: Another completed sewing project! This one is 4 pieces (skirt, top, and two removable sleeves).
@ittybittykittyz I saw this on IG and thought it was so sweet! I know what you mean by removable sleeves though. Especially if the fabric is not stretchy, I have to bast then still machine sew super slow.
I recently made a romper for my Minifee Rens using a slightly upsized commercial Barbie sewing pattern! The fabric is from a thrifted baby dress! PXL_20240228_103804191.PORTRAIT by Scrunch, on Flickr
