Shopping Serenadedoll

They are definitely still around. Their website is sketchy AF, but they will respond to email! That said... I ordered from them a couple of years ago, and it was such a headache. They took a long time, promised delivery dates that came and went, and some of the items I ordered weren't in my order, and that took more time. I did eventually get my order. On BJD Addicts, another buyer who purchased after I did experienced a similar purchasing experience. I can't say it was overly bad, but it was just... so-so?

Clover Singing can purchase Serenadedoll, but there aren't any discounts, and in some cases, it may be more expensive than buying directly from Serenadedoll.

I genuinely think that Serenadedoll isn't focusing on dolls as they did before. I completely understand why you don't want to go through Dolk either. Depending on who you are looking to buy, perhaps there is one available on FB/IG until you can get DoA marketplace access? There are also a couple of legit dolls that pop up on eBay as well.

Serenadedolls are honestly gorgeous, and I wish they were more active as they were back then!

 

@Deifilia you are very welcome! Some good/bad news, but Suu is hardly ever up for resell because she is arguably one of their most favorite dolls. I think I've seen Suu come up once or twice over the years, so you won't have to worry too much about missing her secondhand. (Also, I think painted eyeball Suu is off topic for DoA, but you can post photos of her in the OT section if you decide to get that version!)

I would shoot Serenade an email and see how it goes from there. I'd also check with New Clover Singing/Christina to see the price on the dolls. It may not be much more expensive, and she can communicate with Serenadedoll if the stress of going back and forth is too much.

I have a Joan and an open eyed Nun. I really should play with them again! Every time I see a post about Serenade, I'm always so enamored to see their creations again. Good luck to you on acquiring your Suu!
