Props Seeking Advice: Dollmore USD Kinetic Wings - Can they attach to an MSD BJD?

Hello!

I'd really like to get a pair of the smaller USD (27cm doll) sized Kinetic Wings for a MSD size doll that is 44cm (Peak's Woods FOB Lady Bee). I realize the wings would look smaller on this larger-sized doll, and that is the effect I'd like.

It looks like the wings attach by tying long black ribbons - that would make me think that there would be enough length of ribbon to tie around Lady Bee's arms. That might be wishful thinking on my part, I know! >_<

The wingspan of 38cm is a good size.

As for the black ribbons, they are *so* obvious if the doll is wearing any other colour! I'd like to see if I could alter the wings with interchangeable, or maybe transparent ribbons. Can this be done without destroying the wings?

I also prefer the "Natural Pink" striped feathers to all of the colour options available for MSD size dolls. (I do already have the MSD Brown Kinetic Wings on order for a different doll that has a bird theme to her character. ^_^ I'd use those for Lady Bee too in photos. But I'd really like the cute little softly-toned pink stripy wings for my woodland faery Lady Bee! )

But I'm worried about spending $40 and the wings going unused in a box, if they don't work. I don't plan on buying any Tiny BJDs.
