Totally missed this, sorry! She's on the Withdoll mini body right now, but will be getting a Dollzone winged body later. The wings in the photo were from a Hawk Girl action figure. XD.

I have the outfit ready for my Wol head, but no body, lol. I'll be ordering it soonish. Just waiting on another head to arrive that also needs a body.

 

@Rosslyn wow, yes! What a great hybrid! The Peabody head looks perfect on that body. I'm glad it worked out and you didn't have to wait long for the body.

I can't justify a preorder on a Wol right now though, i'm saving for something but I lust... I lust SO BAD.

I think she might end up, if there's still heads for sale at the time, a christmas gift or something maybe.

 

Am so gutted I missed the recent Wol preorder. I've only just discovered her and she would be perfect for a BJD I have planned themed around my parrot. Hoping to get my paws on her someday (ideally one of the single colour variants)!

Could someone let me know how quickly the Wol heads tend to sell when they're listed? I want to know how realistic my chances are of snagging one...

 

@Vanytie I was checking the preorder, and by the last day there were five left. I guess the last five sold within a week as I see the preorder is over. Maybe the artist will have some for sale when the orders come in from the casting service. That was estimated to be sometime in October.

Today I ordered a body for my Wol head. They both should arrive around the same time.

 

Thanks for the info and congrats on your Wol. She didn't sell out as fast as I was expecting last time then -phew-. I was online for a Seed Arts shop restock yesterday (wanted one of their cute little dragons) and most things got snapped up immediately!

I messaged Armeleia and apparently there may be some more heads in stock soon, so here's hoping!

What body have you ordered for yours? :O

 

I ordered a Resinsoul 1/4 boy body. The neck measurements were the same, and it was a good price. Plus most of my msd are slim, so easy to dress. I know the color match will be off as the Wol head is like Volks ns, and I guess the new RS ns is lighter than it used to be. Oh well, it doesn't bother me, lol.

 

Oh my! I would usually never be interested in sculpts like these but man are they cuties!! Ugh I'm going to try my best to not look at pictures of them because I already have a doll on layaway

@Rosslyn so sad to hear you are ill. You've been ill for quite a while. Hope you get feeling better soon! Archer is looking great! Love the gun hands. Body blushing seems so intimidating, I will enjoy seeing yours!

My RS body has been shipped, so I'm just waiting on the Wol head. Estimated date of delivery is October, so it's now October. Getting closer!

Your Peabody looks so good on that body

I hope to have my two ready to show off (again) soon, Wol is getting a custom wig and Peabody is getting painted... and stealing a body

It's now October so my Wol head could be ready any day, or so I hope!

I got a shipping notice for my Wol head today!
I’ve forgotten what character I had planned, so now I’ll just come up with a new one. At least I have a body for it, but nothing else.

 

Congrats! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with character-wise. I'll have to keep an eagle eye on Armeleia's Etsy store to see if she has any spares. as I missed the pre-order.

 

Mine's shipped as well! I don't have a plan for his character yet, just his aesthetic, but he won't have his Dollzone body for a while, so I've got some time to plan

 

My Wol head is here! It’s so wonderful! I love the resin, so smooth. The normal skin is a beautiful color too. Unfortunately I’m ill, so I can’t enjoy it as much as I want. I can at least sit and admire it. As it got closer to the estimated arrival time, an new name kept popping up. Blue. Just Blue. I was still wondering why that name, but the resin S hook protector (the little C shaped piece of resin with crystals sculpted on it) is blue! ‘Nuff said.

 

Blue and I decided we won’t be using the RS body. Nothing wrong with the body, it just isn’t ‘special ‘ enough. So, I like the DZ male body with the heart design. Now to raise funds for the new body and wait like, half a year for it to arrive.

 

My Wol is going on a DZ male body too! He's getting the B45-018 in tan, I ordered back in August and I'm so ready for it to come in. I just finished my layaway, so now the real wait begins.

And, bonus points, when the head arrived I started to get a handle on his character! I may try and write something to get him properly settled while I wait for his body. I've also realized his wig super isn't going to work, so it might try making one? We shall see

 

@GracefulWings that’s great! And tan was my second choice, so I’m super excited to seeing your Wol! Too bad about the wig you got. I read finding wigs to fit is an issue due to the head shape. I have one I bought for my Wol, but it was for the old character, and is black and red. His new character is named Blue, so..sigh. I haven’t even tried it on. At least the eyes I picked fit. They were a free pair of glass eyes in brown with pink around the pupil. After having them in the eye box for years, I get to use them!

 

@kurogane It wasn't necessarily a fit issue, it just doesn't suit him at all. I'm just not ready to spend the money on another wig for him just yet, and it's been tricky trying to find one I like for him

 

So I'm a fool and neglected to actually post any pictures of him, here he is with the eyes he stole!

I’ve decided to keep the RS body for now, but will get a DZ body next year. At least having a body will make the wait easier.

I’m also going to look at yarn today to make my own wig. I’m looking for something unique. There is something about these heads that seem to attract uniqueness. Every Wol or Peabody I’ve seen is so special!

@Rosslyn @GracefulWings funny story--I actually got the artist cast that I just barely missed out on buying a while back. It's a tan head with copper glitter just too pretty for words

Sorry, forgot to post about my Wol.
I’ve decided to keep the Resinsoul body for now, and at least have the permanent eyes and wig. I’ve been working on Valerian’s (third name, hope this one stays) clothes. I made a jacket which matches his eyes and wig and am sewing his pants right now. I just love his face so much! That nose is so unique.

I have plans to get a Wol my only real issue is that when she releases them i can never pick on (because i like them all) and they sell out before i can figure out which one to get LOL!
It looks like body options are pretty good though.

Hi all. I just wanted to share my Peabody, even though he's without face or hair at the moment. I'm having a heck of a time figuring out his hair color and style. He's just going by Peabody for now, because I don't really know who he is. He sure is cute though!
