Well, a girl has to have a place to keep her tactical weapons and laptops. (grins at Nell) She might as well kick out the dollhouse dolls and take over the whole house.

 

Oh dear lord dont tell her things like that lol!

 

Baby Jayne Cobb (from Firefly series) moved in today. Nell and him hit it off immediately.

Bwahahahahah!! OMG, is that a real rat standing behind them? !!! I like the new little guy very much.

*sigh* I thought my girls were in the carrier with my Dollshe guy, but after a search, I have discovered that they have run off again. I usually take the dolls I don't think I could ever replace ( my Dollshe Bermann, my discontinued LE Bambicrony girl, and my Secretdoll tinies) with me when I go out of town (so I can sleep), but somehow, I must have stashed the girls in a secret place and cannot remember where I put them. I think they have run away for revenge because they have been wanting a new photostory ever since I bought some special props months ago. It drives me crazy not to know where they are. I think I'll hunt for them tomorrow. They probably will want a rat for their very own once they see Nell's.

 

Oh! That is so frustrating when the tinies hide!

 

Yes , Nell has two rats. That one is Daryl (Dixon) and he has a brother called Merle. They are only still babys, around 13 weeks old and super friendly. I think she is hoping she and Jayne can saddle up one of these days! I hope your girls let you know where they are hiding. Naughtly little things. Leave out warm pie .. that should do it

 

Paranoia is a good thing sometimes. Other times, not so much. They're so small, they could be anywhere, really (looking around in dismay).

Edit: Speaking of rats, I've been looking at Rainman's rat, Edward, on the Elfdoll website. He might make a good friend for my girls, if they ever turn up.

Well, well! Nell emailed me and told me that she thought my girls were hiding in a place I already searched, so I took her advice and found them in behind some anthros in the little suitcase with wheels where I keep my tiny dolls when I'm not playing with them. Tell her I appreciate her letting me know, as I am going out of town for a week today and can't sleep very well if they are on the loose. (I love the little photo of Nell and Jayne reading the map!) Root is looking over my shoulder and wants to know where to buy camo outfits as she wants to go on an alligator hunt. Thanks, Nell!

 

Aunty Spampy has all kinds of imagination and her own babyfairy so she can make perfect outfits. Oooo alligator hunts ... Nell is most impressed! She is glad to be of assistance but would like some gator boots when Root makes her first capture!

 

So... I was bored this afternoon and decided to look on the Secretdoll website to see what, if anything, is new there, and discovered that the old Yoi is back on their website. I always wanted one as a little sister to my Yomo, so I ordered her. I cannot resist Secretdolls of any size. I think I hear the Baby fairies snickering in the other room. Very expensive afternoon. *sigh*

Jaynes a boy lol. Jayne Cobb from the TV show Firefly. This is him in baby form thanks to the lovely DaisyDayze. Now Nell will tease him even more!

 

Oops! My apologies! He's cute enough to be a girl; maybe that will make him feel better. When my 6'3" pierced and heavily tattooed son was small, he had curly blonde hair and huge blue eyes and was often mistaken for a girl. It annoyed him quite a bit. Poor Jayne.

 

I love seeing everyone having so much fun. Nell just cracks me up.

OMG, how adorable! It must be meant to be a violin, but it's a double bass for baby fairies. One of these fine days, I hope to get back to having time to play with my tiny girls. They're still my favorites of all my dolls.

I hope everyone is gearing up for summer. ♥ Everyone's girls look so adorable.

Baby Chloe was out enjoying the nice weather today. The girls had pizza and cookies.

 

I checked out the new Secretdoll Person this morning, and while I was there, I happened to look in on the baby fairy section. I got itchy fingers when I discovered the chocolate Dazzle, so he/she will be joining my Secret sisters. Oh dear, not in my doll plans at all!

 

Oh! They were all sold out the last time I visited!

 

They also have the Dazzle outfits in stock. I bought one of each *sigh*. Pathetic. lol

 

Nooooo! Not pathetic! I bought all three also. My other Pocket Fairies can share them!

 

Nancy, did you buy a Dazzle too? Hmm, I wonder if they would sell me a blond bobbed wig if I begged piteously. I bought one of my babyfairies secondhand and her hair had been cut short, so they sold me a replacement wig. They charged me $25.00 for the wig and $30.00 (!!!) for the shipping. *sigh* No group orders for Secretdolls. People who like them are totally smitten, but I fear we are rare birds, lol.

 

I bought Dazzle version 2 with the blonde wig. It never hurts to ask! Another wig would slip easily into the package!

 

I love Dazzle 2. It was a tossup which one to buy as I could only get one. I would actually like to have all of them, of course. Per inch, my babyfairies were more expensive than my Dollshe Bermann. Oy.

 

linakauno: people's jaws drop when they meet Baby Chloe. that is always what they ask: how expensive was she? and i tell them that by the inch, she is my most expensive dollie.

and you are right: people who are smitten are just smitten... we can't help it!

 

They are expensive per inch and even worse by the once! But they eat far less space of my now limited available space.

 

nancy: i have to struggle to remember where Baby Chloe is all the time. she is so tiny O_O. right now she is off with Lachlana getting 'beauty parlor treatment'.

i am so excited for everyone who is getting Dazzle! Dazzle is adorable.

 

I once lost all three of my girls for about 6 months. I thought I'd put them in a little pocket of the small rolling suitcase where I stash my tiny dolls, but when I looked for them, they were gone. I ransacked the house looking for them. Finally found them in a random drawer of linens. I can't imagine why I put them there; it must have been temporary insanity.

 

My tinies live, or rest, in pencil boxes. Slowly they are getting labeled so it's easier to find the right one.

 

Mine mostly stay in some little clear plastic boxes with compartments that I found at Joann's. Not sure what they're actually meant to hold, but they're near yarn. A tiny doll can stand in each compartment and I think it holds about 6.

 

I have some of those that I use for other things. I like the plastic pencil boxes because there is room for the doll's things.

 

I keep the tiny dolls' stuff in a big plastic bin. That's only their clothes. The props live all over the place. Of course, the bin is for all the teeny clothes. The sisters have to share with tiny Elfdolls, Tinybear elves, Banjis, etc. I am mad about tiny things, or maybe just mad in general.

 

My chocolate Dazzle arrived yesterday. Oh my goodness, he is so small! I didn't realize he would have a faceplate instead of a regular head like my other baby fairies. His face is the size of my thumbnail! No time for photos today, but will post him tomorrow.

 

My little blonde Dazzle arrived yesterday also! We are remodeling the kitchen so pictures will have to wait.

 

Congratulations on your new girls. I hope to see photos very soon. Nell got herself a new house and a pup from the wonderful Daisy Dayes. We are working on décor

Mwahahahaha! Hysterical!! Thanks, I needed that! I love Dexter; so strange and disturbing, perfect for a babyfairy photo.

I managed to faceplant on the sidewalk Sunday and smashed my wrist into several pieces. Having surgery on it Thursday, so photos of my new Dazzle will have to wait. This photo of Nell is just what the doctor ordered to cheer me up! I also got a new firefly fairy last week so naturally I became unable to play with them. The little Dazzle (still thinking up a name) is in his box and the fairy is lying naked on my bedside table as I cannot dress her one-handed. Next, I suppose, the little bjtales mouse I've been waiting on for 6 months will arrive and I won't be able to play with her either. I've been very cross.

Oh! That is terrible! I can so understand why you are cross! I wish I lived close to you so I could help you dress the dolls!

I did a terrible thing; I made two of my baby fairies participate in little sideshow I built for the doll convention here recently as "General and Mrs. Tom Thumb". Petal (Sen) was fine with it, as she got to dress up, but Root (Root) was hugely annoyed that I pasted whiskers on her face and made her wear an itchy suit. Antheria (Yogi) isn't speaking to me because I left her out altogether. Here they are on my desk before the big event.
