imajica - I luv your beach photos of Nell. So great to see. She went to the beach and ate the sand-whiches there.
Poor lil doggies. ha.
Did you cut your Nell's hair? I like my Yogi's the way they are, but the loooong hair can really get in the way of trying to pose them.

I tried to put in some pipe cleaners in my Baby Fairies last weekend. I tried, but they were too large to fit inside the arms, legs.
What do you all use to wire your Baby Fairies then?


Oh, and do Puki Puki size clothings fit these dolls? I forget.

and most of the pukistuff will fit, her feet are a little smaller and she has a fat belly and a tiny butt

She is adorable. I love LOVE Mette

Nell was adopted and her hair was like tht when she got to me. I think it must have been cut , it is shorter. She wears Kelly and a lot of puki things. Spampy has her own secretfairy so she can make pants and tops that as wilkies says compensates for that belly

I dont wire mine but electrical wire or thin pipecleaners should do it. Or even those twist ties you get in the supermarket in the veg section. Nell wanted to try skateboarding today but it was too much of a task even for a gutsy little thing like her

She actually slipped on her butt right down the slope. The wind took her as I stepped back. I had a huge panic but she was fine lol. I dont think we will be going back there anytime soon.

I keep looking at Mette , wilkies. I have a tan Root, I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER. There is something just so very special about Roots face. So strong and wise.

I just purchased a tiny Tinkerbell Lizzy house. I thought it might work for my Yogi dolls. It is a bit on the tiny side, but it will do for a few photos. Because it is not that easy to work with, I most likely won't use it much. I thought it was a cute idea. I will try to take a few photos anyway. It sparked a bit of interest for me to redress my girls again. Into some Kelly fairy outfits. I just luv my two Yogi dolls. I am so glad I have them. I luv holding them in my hand.

 

Your girls are so wonderful Dollightful. I think sometimes we just need to put them down for a while to fall in love and do really fun things with them all over again. I know my secretdoll Persons were neglected to the point I almost sold Pris. I bailed at the last minute and so glad I did. They are incredible and I love them all over again. Yogis are so defiant and chubby and hilarious. I cant wait to see your new photos. I keep coming back to stare at Mette. Such a bad idea lol. i love her new look the most but I love that two tone hair swept over her when she just arrived. Everyone should have a Root!

 

Thanks imajica. Glad you can relate. Don't even get me started on more Fairies! lol I would luv too, but I always want so many dolls. I wish I could get them all.

Ooo, glad you bumped! I've been away for a while and missed that little house. My girls are off on a little excursion but they'll be back in August. Very difficult to keep them at home when there are so many fun place to visit.

 

DollZwise- I just love your secretdoll hybrid. Please tell me what body/head combination you have pictured here in your beautiful mermaid. I've been searching for information on secret doll hybrids. How do the secretdoll heads attach?

Yum! Is that pie? It makes me wish I had some to eat right now with my coffee. Your girls' outfits are sooo cute!

 

Yes its apple pie, but Nell took more , much much more than her slice lol. Spampy made the frog stuff for Nell and the rest is mix and match. Luckily they can all pretty much wear the same things , it just is shorter or longer depending on the girl.
Kizzy and Tamzin tidied up too. I gave some of their toys to the other girls that live in the house. I didnt think they would mind but on second thoughts , pretty sure that they do!

Thanks, Lana. Nah, they always eat up all the candy before the big day, and go walkabout in the 'hood on Halloween to get more, unless they're off in the woods doing incantations and stuff.

No the tan girls sold out long long ago. They look very diferent, in a perfect world I would adore a white skin Root too but there are so many on my list right now!

 

LOL, linakauno, somehow I don't think it is treats that gang would be handing out! I haven't been here in a dog's age and always forget just how much fun the Baby Fairies can get up to! It wasn't for Halloween, but mine were playing dress up not so long ago.

What adorable little furniture, Darkstar! I love the little costumes too! I need to take my girls out for a little photoshoot. I bought some props a while back that I think are funny, but I'm thinking it might be in bad taste for DOA since so many people here are not from my neck of the woods and have a different outlook on such things as hunting. Of course, no actual animals would be harmed during the photoshoot, and besides they would be out of scale for the girls. Most things are, after all.

 

Heck Nell cut off a wolfs head lol. I think baby fairies can get away with anything! Show us what you got linakauno

 

I'll get to it eventually. Real life has gotten annoyingly complicated just now and this story will require some elaborate set-building. As I don't live in the proper area to photograph outside right now without subjecting myself to possible physical danger (snakes, traffic, armed yahoos running around in pickups), it may have to wait a bit. I don't have a plot yet, just some funny props.

 

Yes, outside the house is an annoying place to be. I often wonder what my neighbours think of me and mine lol.
For Halloween , here is Nell in her Frog Princess Outfit which is one of her very favourite things. I do have to keep reminding her that hitting defenceless creatures with a stick is NOT knighting them

Great Leaping Frogs, she is toooo adorable! Love that sceptre! This reminds me, not only will I have to build a set, I will have to make some costumes, unless I have some random bits I can use that I have forgotten about. January will be about right. The holidays will be over and I will be in mid-winter doldrums: perfect time for a ridiculous baby fairy story.

 

Nell will always be THE Frog Princess! Such a perfect princess outfit too! I need to get Tatum out and let her play.

I've always thought those old scratchy pictures of little kids from turn of the century were spooky and that definitely looks like the little girls who wanted Danny to play with them! Lol, thanks, Lana! I almost scared myself with that photo. Baby fairies creep out lots of people even without photographic enhancement. I think that's why I love mine so much; they look like old souls.

Bwahahahaha! (spewing coffee) Love that photo of her. You know, I always think of my girls as having weapons and they actually have accumulated quite an arsenal, mainly for photostories I have in mind and haven't done yet. I think it must be because of those little adventure stories that used to be on the Secretdoll website. Anyone who ever saw those stories and the optional clothes that used to be available to buy would know that these girls are much older than they look.

Anyway, I've been busy repainting my big dolls that I first painted years ago because I can't stand their faceups anymore, but when I'm finished, perhaps I'd better turn my hand to the little folk before they notice I'm not paying attention to them. They are notorious for sneaking off when I'm not watching.

 

HAHAHAHAHA ! What a great picture ! These little dolls are so underrated, I love them all but Yogi has is my fav (shhh), she can do it all and be put in any situation, but she is a little dangerous

 

They seriously are underrated I guess they are not as cute nor poseable as FL and its only once you have one you realise how wonderful they are. Linakauno I so hope you get your girls back out.This thread has been neglected lol.
