Hi! I am mostly working in Super Sculpey, too. I have hacked the face off my doll about 5 times now and redid stuff that bothered me. Even though I had worked with Sculpey for 20+ years, I had never tried to change it after baking before. Now I find that I can carve off anything and re-work it and then rebake with no problems. I do a part just right ( like eyelids), bake, and then move on to get the nose, mouth, chin, whatever, afterwards. The clay is just too soft to keep from changing with the tiniest pressure before baking. I guess what I am saying is don't hesitate to bake along the way! It works. Good luck with your doll.
