I just put down the deposit for a lovely Tatiana. I've been wanting one for several months now and found the perfect girl.

I can't wait to see Abbi when I'm able to get her!

 

Well... My kid is finally available for pickup! But I'm currently on the other side of the country

Come on Saturday. You can't get here soon enough.

 

I just paid off a 1/6 sqlab ren and a ringdoll body! I'm waiting for them to ship!!!

 

Welp here I am again!

In a new years eve miracle, I managed to secure a Dust of Dolls Appi Meel in the limited edition blue menthe skintone from this year's L-Doll 5! I'm still sure I'm dreaming but it's actually happening!! Of course I might have to sell some body parts to finish my layaway but it's totally worth it!

I'm already browsing eyes and wigs for her. She's such an unusual size so it's going to be difficult to get just the right things!

 

Ah, I ordered a Impldoll Nelson with a custom faceup and I really can't wait to see him! I've paid for him and he's been shipped, so he's officially mine!! I can't wait until he arrives!

 

I made payment for Volks school head A Swd version, and She is on her way! Can not wait to get her.
Now I have to find body for her.

I feel so anxious and heartbroken; I just bought my second doll from a lovely user on here and she was sent off right away, and should have arrived yesterday--went to the post office and they can't find her!! The guy who originally handled the tramsaction with the seller only gave me a part of the insurance instead of the full asked for, and put the wrong address on it to boot.

I hate this feeling, I just want my doll to make it home safe and sound ;____;

 

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that!

I would file a paypal claim asap - tell the seller that it was her responsibility to insure the full amount and put the right address. If she wasn't sure she should have checked with you before shipping.

If the doll arrives to you I would give her the money for the doll but not for shipping since she clearly didn't ship the doll properly and you shouldn't have to pay for it.

 

Oh no no it wasn't the seller's fault at all--she doublechecked with me the address and everything, and told the guy to give full insurance on my package, but she looked at her receipt when I told her what happened and saw he'd only given $50. Not sure how he messed up so bad--but the seller offered to pay me back what wasn't covered by the insurance.

Fortunately after checking the mailbox again, the post office fixed their mistake! She's here--I have yet to open the box yet though and make sure she's okay. Just knowing she made it home safe makes me feel so much better though ;__; I hope that never happens again, that was horrifying and stressful orz

yeah esp with all the horror stories you hear x___x so far I've gotten really lucky with all the secondhand sellers I've encountered, they've all been very nice!

She's a tan Resinsoul Mei c: --I never would have thought I liked the sculpt till I saw this girl in particular, she spoke to me so I got her ; v ; (plus she came with eyes, wigs and clothes lol added bonus.)

I love resinsoul mei. My friend and I got her for a mutual friend for christmas and she stayed at my house for a while and I just adored her!


(As a side note, both my seller and the tracking says my girl will be here MONDAY.... she shipped this saturday! @__@ I'm so excited!)

I just paid off the JID Tatiana that I had in layaway, so Abbi should be here by Thursday!

Omg I'm so excited! I just found out that Abbi is less than two hours away from me, awaiting the final leg of her journey tomorrow! Sorry for the spam but I'm just so stoked!

I'm so excited! I just purchased my two SOOM Serin heads (OE and Romantic), the R head was shipped on the 12th of January and I'm waiting for it to update and my OE head is to be shipped tomorrow!

I got my new dolly today! And now I can't stop holding her and changing her outfits
She came with a full wardrobe, and I ordered some other things for her as well that also came today~

I bought 2 second hand Volks YoSD (Elena & Colin) already then they were received before/after Christmas~~ and the third one (Neon) will come during February!
Also, I just ordered a second hand littlefee Juri faceplate with the cute kissy face, and she will be shipped tomorrow~~ (Finally, for the second time due to the seller's sudden disappearance from DoA, I got a refund...)

I also have some really good news, my two Serin heads have left the US and my R head has left Sydney and should be here either tomorrow or the date after~. I'm too excited for words! But I think I would laugh with joy if both of them came the same day. XD

I am waiting ever so patiently for a Pukifee Pongpong that i purchased on the marketplace. The doll was so reasonably priced that i could not refuse. And i was so impatient for her, i finished the layaway pretty quickly id like to think. She started in Australia and is now stalled somewhere in New York. Shipping hasn't updated in 6 days All it says is "Processed through sort facility". I'm trying to keep myself busy with sewing clothes for her and i have her wig supplies already here, just waiting for her arrival. *pouts* is it normal for a package to not update? (i had a few amazon purchases that the shipping didn't update on for 3 days and they arrived today to my surprise, so i dont even know whats going on)

I just got word that I can get my Volks MSD F-18. I sent payment and she should be shipped very soon and since St. Louis and Chicago are fairly close once shipped it shouldn't take too long inside of a week most likely. This will also be a dream doll cross off and first BJD purchase in nearly 5 years.

I'm currently waiting for a somewhat impulsively purchased Doll Leaves Fay, who I decided will be named Lyric. She should be on her way to me on Monday if all goes well - not quite sure how long shipping will take, but it's not international so shouldn't be too long. Her wig, eyes, and some clothes for her are also on their way from different sources, so it'll be fun putting her together when everything finally arrives.

 

made my first super international doll purchase (a trade actually), coming to the US from Russia. Kind of nervous because international things make me nervous in general but the package cleared Russian customs and I've continued checking the number obsessively! No idea how long shipping takes haha but I've started looking for cute things to buy for him or her once it gets here. A Leekeworld Bijou with a super cute faceup

Just paid for a SWITCH Milhwa, and I can't wait until he gets here! He's going to be so handsome~

 

Very exciting everyone I actually love buying secondhand though, it's so cool to think of who owned it before you, where it's been and where it might go next. I want to get a map and put push-pins in places that I've shipped to and from, you know?

I just finished paying off an SID Eric that I'm adopting...I can't wait to get my first boy, and a doll off my wishlist!

My girl is in Canada! On the East coast though and I am on the West so there is still some wait time.

 

My boy shipped from Denmark last week and he is somewhere between NYC and here...now when this icky winter weather goes away, his journey will be able to continue! I was hoping he might be here by Friday as that is my birthday (and possible if he was sent by air cross-country?), but I'm thinking early next week sometime (if he is coming by truck, as I suspect)~

 

My new boy arrived earlier today and I will get to open him after I get off work!

Given how horrible the weather and roads have been across the country, I'm surprised and impressed that he made it so quickly!
