chocoyuridream Sane? SANE? Oh my dear who ever told you that I am staying sane while waiting..... they lied. I just distract myself with other things, like clothes, how I want their face up, setting slots up... saving for accessories and more dolls.... buying more dolls on layaway, which in turn makes the wait even more insane..... rinse and repeat.

I am waiting for my beloved Peroth head (finally got one!) to ship from the UK. He is going to be posted on Monday! I am so excited! ^_^

 

Nexus are you going to post a box opening? I can't wait to see Kittywolf13's box opening too, I just paid the last payment on my doll so she will finally be shipped out tomorrow! MY FIRST DOLL IS FINALLY COMING OMMMMMMGGG

Now I am paying off a IOS Infernale WS on a MegaGem body (yes the one in the market place) and a Dollclans Siber S Line Head. (Thats from the marketplace too) payment 1 of 4 payments for the Infernale and 1 of 2 for the Siber Head. Thats TWO Grails in one month. Woo. I need to stay away from the Market place. I need to Save money up for face ups, mods, sending them off, and a body and hands from dikadoll for my Siber.

Hi guys! I was told to post in here, so i came to share my happiness with you too! I just buy my first Iplehouse doll! I got him from a very good friend. She is also here on DoA. The good part is i wont be paying for shipping! We both live on the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro. The boy in question is just perfect for the character i had in my mind. His name will be Mal. Mal is a Iplehouse Claude The Addiction with human and vampire head with no faceup on the human head. His Vampire head i got from another friend also from here, Empty Fullmoon. And he will come with a faceup made by her. Im so excited! The best part is i will probably had him at home in a few days! Yeeeeah!!!

Being new to the hobby my first "bjd" is a gift from my step daughter that she has put on layaway. Its an adorable tiny little baby that fits in the palm of your hand. Though I cant quite remember the name of it at the moment. Its a rather precious little boy. I've been debating on the name for him, perhaps Andrew after my grandson, or Christopher after my second recently born grandson. Maybe the desicion is best made once he arrives home. I will take photos of the precious little one as soon as he arrives.

I bought a MNF modded Siean a couple of days ago and I'm so terribly impatient and excited! Highly considering paying more for express shipping but I'm sure it'd be astronomical...

 

I traded for a Fairyland Chicline Rou, we are both going to ship October 3rd! I am so excited!

Finally got a shipping notice through much prodding and poking! He was accepted today and the estimate says he'll be here Monday!

I got hit with the pink slip -BOO- so I have to go pick him up at lunch today. Or I'll be waiting until forever to get him (and I kinda wanted to work on him this weekend!)

This is agony! My doll should be delivered sometime today but it feels like the wait is taking foreeeevvvvveeeerrrr. Of course the tracking updates were only from early early this morning and have not been updated yet.

Hehe, the worst part of getting a new doll is on the day they deliver, you don't want to miss it but you don't want to wait all day long either.

 

Just started a layaway with a SOOM Nelen. So excited! A couple years ago, I "reshelled" one of my characters properly with a Cylin. Now I am shelling her... um... "human faerie" form with Nelen. (If you've ever played Changeling, I played a Fetch. Now I am getting her human. xD)

 

Dollium, thank goodness that more often than not domestic packages don't need to be signed for so no dreaded pink slip!

I know what you mean! Worse is when you didn't know they had a signature and then have to go to the post office because your mailman is a jerk and definitely did not knock and you were definitely there.


Also hello everyone! I wasn't even aware there was a secondhand doll waiting room! I just purchased a Dust of Dolls Krot Ärie and she shipped out this morning! I'm super excited to get her home because I was so upset to have missed the pre-orders for her. I popped into the marketplace Saturday morning and just saw her sitting there and couldn't believe she was still available when I PMed the seller!!! I'm also really nervous though because it's been AGES since I've had such a tiny doll (she's only 11 cm!) and I've sold most of the items I had for my pukipuki which is the size she (mostly) fits. a;slaf;lakjsf So hopefully I can round up some stuff before she arrives home!

I wish I knew! I only went for "insured and trackable", and did not really care about the rest. However, as the seller is moving the tracking number is lost (so far) ... Gee, I wish I could track him. I want him home with me, the apprehension is driving me mad

 

I would request a partial refund on shipping since you specifically asked for tracking and you don't have tracking. I hope he arrives safe and sound!

I hope you're successfully killing time, drinking lots of tea, etc to calm your nerves... I'm waiting for a secondhand, kind of old but unplayed with, unoa boy kit I'll have to assemble. Unfortunately I think the package might arrive today in the morning when I happen to have a dentist's appointment. I already canceled the dentist last time in favor of the mailman, can't do that again .

 

I don't know, but from looking at the different companies, it seems she's a Fairyland. I shall check when she gets here.

 

Ah, no need for that He arrived at the customs office already today, and I will be able to free him tomorrow!
And I guess the seller could have managed to get the tracking info from his local post office if I had really insisted, it's all good, really.
