I just paid off my girl, so hopefully she will be on her way to me soon. Still have not figured out her wig and outfit... but at least I have temp stuff she can use for a while.

She was not pleased with any of the wigs I have, so looks like I need to go shopping for her soon.

 

I ordered a Volks Hewitt 2nd hand from Korea yesterday and the seller got him out today through EMS! It looks like he's in motion from the tracking.

I'm waiting on a female to arrive. She was one I previously sold but she became available so I had to nab her again. I'm rather excited as I wasn't originally going to grab her. Hopefully she'll be here this week.

It is. I don't usually buy back dolls I've sold (there's only like four I would) but sometimes, I can't help it if I feel they need the love. I'm a sentimental brat lol. I've ignored most but since it was from a company I love, I figured why not. It helped the seller and my boy will be happy . She's acting only the second I've ever bought back (the first was actually a Littlefee dark elf Soo a friend didn't want to keep anymore) Haha.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT... I GOT MY GRAIL DOLL ORDERED!! I feel seriously lucky, there is only 60 that exist of her -- Luts Senior Delf Helena Limited!! With her company faceup AND fullset!! She is the first doll I fell in love with years ago and I'm SO ecstatic she is finally coming home!! I will post soo many photos believe me!!

 

@Pippiboo Congratulations! May I ask where you found her second hand? It's so very hard to find some of their limiteds and I've been searching for a few of their old limiteds here and there and trying to find new places to search off DoA...

 

She was for sale on Xianyu, I used a proxy to order her ^_^ An acquaintance actually found her, since I don't typically browse there, lol. I have to say, though, if you're in the USA, I'd avoid ordering from there for now... Just got hit with a $200 shipping fee

 

Time to join in here. I bought two impulse 2nd hand dolls in the last week or so, Charmdoll Circe and Dream Valley Fuku. Hopefully they will get here safely.

 

I totally didn't realize this thread existed lol. I'm finally getting some more bodies for my floating heads. A Fantasy Doll 60cm boy in Pale Normal, a Fantasy Doll 69cm boy in Little Rebel Tan, and an ALM 60cm boy in White. Hoping they'll all work out for someone here, got plenty of heads to pick from lol. Also waiting on an Impldoll Alisa in Brown, but she's going to my mom. ^^
The FDoll 60cm body, ALM body, and Impl Alisa are all coming from the same person, so that'll be a fun box opening (they're all unstrung in the same box per request). And everything is supposed to be here by Friday, so hopefully USPS sticks to the estimated date or earlier. Super excited

I didn't realize this thread existed either. I guess I can confess that I am thrilled to have 4 new-to-me sweeties coming this month! Some will need full dismantle cleaning to start with, but the promise of refreshing their little souls I find very exciting!

 

I found my grail boy. So excited. He's a Soom Euclase in Cream skin. He will be added to my ever growing list of characters in my Dragon Book series. Hopefully he will get here by Jan. Fingers crossed.

My boys been shipped (Soom Euclase ) and well waiting for him I found another one of my grails and he was local. So yesterday I went and picked up my new boy a Dollshe Saint. Not very often you fine your grail in your back yard. I will post pictures later of his opening . Still cant believe I got two of my grails in one month .

 

What a useful thread! I'm currently waiting on a Dollzone Mo head I scored on Ebay and an SDGr body with the A-02 muscular arms that I found on Dollyteria. Both will probably take awhile. I want to hybridize the Mo head with a Doll Leaves body, but I'm unsure if it will fit. Oh well; I'm still excited for her regardless (she's going to be a girl).

 

Update: The boy's body is in the US 5 days after it shipped - which was only a day after I placed the shipping invoice! Dollyteria's order processing and shipping has been top tier so far. Less than a week is super impressive for an international order in my book. Well worth the expensive shipping cost for such good service. Hopefully it's not stuck in Chicago customs too long.

My girl will probably take a little longer, but that's okay with me. Looks like she's still in Kiev.

 

Maybe not a whole doll but I managed to find a resinsoul dawn head and torso in dark tan and waiting to get her. I will try to find some sort of bottom for her and see if I can make a completely new ooak doll

 

And I'm back cause I have to vent a bit.

I bought a second-hand Magic Time Mana through Xianyu/Idlefish using the 42agent proxy. I sent the payment and everything in-mid-end of October. She shipped out a Month later, November 23, via EMS. The tracking has not updated since November 28th and I am getting such bad anxiety over it. EMS is normally really quick for me and I know its around the holidays but not hearing any news for almost 3 weeks is taxing me. Hopefully I hear something soon!

 

Wheee. I just bought a second hand SartoriaJ Jarrad. Which is not the headsculpt I'm super in love with (that's Jude) but either I'll try and find a Jude head somewhere or I'll just sculpt my own head.

Although who knows, I might fall in love with the headsculpt if I change the faceup. Either way, unless my Doll Leaves order gets here, he may actually be my very first BJD

 

Hey! I'm also expecting an EMS package from 42agent. The package has been stuck in China since the October 26th. Latest update I got was that it boarded an airplane on December 7th. @_@

 

Seriously?! Oh god that is terrifying. I am not going to enjoy this wait.

 

I'm also in that same boat from China, since I bought a Iplehouse FID outfit coming from China from the original Owner back on Oct 13 and so all I get from tracking is that the plane has entered the port, back in Nov, but I think it keeps circling back cause that's all they got.

I've been having that problem with a package from I Sew For Doll which departed before it arrived, disappeared into the ether for a month and has now been on two planes and is I'm not quite sure where.

Jarrad, thankfully, is only in the hands of the Royal Mail and they're usually pretty good. I'm not sure if he'll be here for Christmas although that would be lovely.

 

So frustration to see that. I hope that you package can finally be delivered where it needs to be.


I haven't so far had any dolly problems with UK. One time a video seem to go missing but it arrived like a month or so later than expected. Keeping fingers crossed that yours will arrive by Christmas. Always nice to get dolly goodies at this time.

 

I traded dolls with someone in Australia. I've received my half of the trade (in the US), but they haven't. The doll should be going to Sydney (not Melbourne, which is refusing USPS). They seem to be quite calm and willing to wait. I am a control freak and going nuts. The doll left Los Angeles on December 9, and nothing has happened since. I just did a missing mail claim with the USPS to see if I can move things along. So frustrating...

 

Oh. That would be nerve wrecking. Wishing you both well and hoping she will get there quicker.

 

My boys been released from Russia. So hopefully that means he's on his way to Canada now. WOOT. He's been there now 2 weeks or more. Cant wait for him to get home.

 

Update!! She made it to Canada! 23 days in shipping limbo!! Will update again when she comes home!!

 

He's here! My first BJD is here. For all that the estimated delivery date was 4-6 January and I thought maybe Thursday or Friday, he arrived today.

And now I can't decide. Do I open him now so I can get on with the business of putting clothes and a wig on him? Or do I wait until Christmas and make him an actual Christmas present?

I don't think I'm patient enough for that.

 

No updates on my Dollzone Mo head. I honestly expected this because it's so far away, and I know the seller shipped it right after I placed my order (at least a day later), so I'm not too worried about it. There's no more tracking information available, so she might just be sitting in customs. Fingers crossed that she arrives unexpectedly sometime between her anticipated delivery date (January 27th)!

 

COngrats. How exciting. I would open him up just to check him out and makes sure everything arrived okay. Then wrap him up and open him for the real excitement of getting him together on Christmas.

 

My update! I did a missing package claim with USPS, and it turns out the doll has been chilling in Los Angeles for the last few weeks. It's finally on its way to the Land of Oz!

Hi Guys does anyone else has a huge delays in postage? I'm currently waiting for 2 dolls coming from US to UK where I live and its been over a month for both of them and they're not even with the national mail yet... im wondering if the covid affected anyone's else's postage time or am I just unlucky lol.

 

I'm still going bonkers over here, waiting for the doll I shipped to be delivered to my trading partner in Australia. I don't know why she hasn't threatened me with grievous bodily harm yet.
So - yes. Very frustrating.
