Second-Hand Doll Waiting Room v. 4

My Minifee Celine is supposed to ship today. Her new eyes, and some of her clothes just shipped today too. It'll be race to see what gets here first, but I'm so excited. I've gone through her old pictures so many times now, and I'm so excited to play with her.

 

waiting on my new girl a saintbloom coming in on Wednesday! im so excited! Ill be using the body for a hybrid!! but its killing me to wait!! At lest im going to a doll show case tmr with BJD venders so ill get to focus on something els for a will!

 

I've never heard of a Saintbloom. What size doll are they?

 

YOSD slim tiny! there about30cm but have boobs and look a bit older!

Now frustrated waiting. Hasn't been that long but now both of her delivery dates (from each carrier) have passed and no arrival, and no new date. Seems she is stuck at customs in Chicago. She has been there now six days.

I just put on hold a Lillycat Ombre, and am basically just waiting for the current owner to get back home (from vacation? I think?) so they can send me a pic of the CoA, and I told them no rush because it really is no rush....

but omg i'm so excited, technically i'm not even waiting for shipping yet because i haven't even paid BUT STILL. I had to post somewhere. lol.

 

Still super excising i hope you get her!!! cant wait to see photos! I Finally got the girl i was waiting for and im so pleased and happy! feeling complete!

I saw in your other reply about not knowing how to post pics - it's the little icon right next to the smiley face in the formatting row of the reply box (on one end, there's B for bold, I for italics, etc - move right and you'll see the smiley face). The "image" button looks like a little mountain pic. Then all you need to do is have your photo uploaded somewhere online, copy it's address (right click or command+click and "copy image address" - you'll know you'll have it if the address ends in .jpg or .jpeg or .png) and put it into the prompt when you click the "image" button here.

 

Ahh, guess who arrived today! She flew super fast from Chicago to me, less than 24 hours after she got out of customs she was home! I didn't get a chance to take unboxing pictures as I was in a hurry to get back to work, but here's a shot of her with her new eyes in!

 

I think I'll just join this thread to share my excitement about my first on-topic doll I am about to receive! Hopefully at the beginning of next week (maybe tomorrow?!). She will be my first girl and I am already crazy in love with her. And she is from my ultimate favorite-doll-company Iplehouse

@Candarck ahaha not yet! i will buy her, but i'm waiting for the current owner to send me a photo of her CoA first. and they are on vacation for another few weeks, so they can't do that yet, but will do it when they get home.

fortunately, i have several art projects to distract me in the meantime!

 

She just arrived! I am so crazy in love with her! Iplehouse JID I just can't take my eyes of her. Unfortunately I yet have nothing to wear for hear XD. Luckily it is summer and the temperatures are high enough to... be a bit more legere at home. I can't wait to take her for her first photoshot :3

 

After a while of waffling, I have a LLT Lazuli on its way to me! I hope the wig and eyes I have fit her.

 

She finaly came! my hybrid! Su-Bee! on a saintbloom body and a Mudoll Sien head.

 

I’m joining in with a short wait for a 5Stardoll Aiden 5. He should arrive next week! I’m so happy to have been able to adopt him. He’s a sculpt I’ve been wanting for years.

 

Whoops, forgot to post! My head got here a while back and everything fits! Hopefully the body finally gets finished and I will be able to buy it.

I'm currently waiting for a second DollZone Ani. She was an impulse buy, but ever since she was discontinued in 2014, I've been looking to buy her again. I bought my first Ani in 2011 and I absolutely adore her sculpt. At the time she became discontinued, I didn't have the money to buy a second one.
She just popped up in a sales group and I paid the doll the same day I saw the advertisement. She's been on her way since Friday. I'm so excited to have a twin for my first Ani!

However, I'm really scared that the pictures of her might be misleading. I really hope she arrives in the same condition as she was promised.

She has arrived and is in perfect condition. I could not have hoped for more. My first Ani is on the left, my new Ani is on the right.

 

There was a bit of a delay, but I now have a tracking number ; u ;

Purchased a pukipuki from my friend and it shipped today, tracking says it should be here by Tuesday.

 

Purchased a Mystic Kids Milo through Facebook He'll be shipped out the 25th or 26th as the previous owner will be out of state for the week. Very excited to receive him!!

 

I was able to find a Soom Gem Dimo head second hand! He's on his way from Canada
Now I'll just have to find him a body.

 

Back here again! I have a Feeple Id01 head on a Supia Doll body coming my way. She was already packed and put in the post, but since she is traveling from Spain I am anticipating a lengthy wait because my packages go through Chicago international.

Tracking hasn't updated on the Spanish side yet, so we'll see.

 

I might have finally tracked down a normal skin realfee at a reasonable price here in Europe. Now it's just hoping her owner will agree to payment for goods/services through Paypal. She wanted me to send the money to her as a friend/family member but that's fraud and means I'm in a pickle in case something goes wrong. I offered to pay for the Paypal fees though so I hope she'll agree to go through with the transaction the proper way...

 

brought volks yosd dai on saturday from dollyteria~ its already been dispatched yesterday so hoping it will arrive somewhere this week

 

Paid for a Smart Doll Chitose last week that is in Sweden. She has already made it to the USA. She might be here by Saturday. Just paid for a Mystic kids Caroline with a custom face up. I haven’t had any dolls for almost 3 years so I am very excited.

 

Hey everyone! I’m just getting back in to the hobby so this is my first time posting in yeeeears. But on Saturday, I snagged my dream girl from someone! She’s a MNF Juri ‘14/Soony in NS, and just the head for now, but she’s got a gorgeous Angel Toast face-up! However I’m super sad because UPS lied to me and told me my girl would be delivered today by 8PM, but that didn’t happen So here’s hoping she gets here tomorrow so I can hold her in my hands finally! Then I’ll just have to save up for a body for her . . .

 

So I got my Mystic Kids Caroline and love her! Got my Smart Doll as well but didn't feel that connection with her so I traded her for a Angel Philia Aoi. Got her and still no connection. So now she got sent off today to trade for a Minifee Eva on a new A Line body that has face up and tattoos from Pintsizedpalace. I don't think vinyl dolls are for me. I will finally have another minifee. I am super excited.

 

I'm waiting on a Boy&Girl Sandra that's been shipped this monday! I'm extremely exciteed, and can't wait to hold her. She'll be my first SD sized girl!

 

I just bought an event head, minifee summer 2017 and a A-line body without a head. I am so excited

I’m also very soon going to be waiting on a DC body I’ll be putting on layaway from a private seller.

 

My beautiful second hand and Vita just arrived a few days ago! She is amazing! I've been looking at her for awhile, but when I saw her being sold second hand I just couldn't resist. As a side note, I should not be allowed to look at Dollzone dolls at all, this is my fourth one from that company, and I just love their faces too much!

Thank you! I'm also looking for another doll that hopefully will be second hand too. My boy needs a boy toy and close friend. I'm still considering because I want there to be a noticeable height difference, but I don't want him super muscly or so tall that I can't hold him.

I just bought a secondhand (well more third hand) Switch Taeheo head. So excited because it was oen of those sculpts I thought I would never get my hands on. But here I am, just payed the seller and now patiently waiting for him to arrive! Don't even have a name or character for him jet...

I recently just recovered my dolls from where I lived previously (it's been years... yikes), checked whether or not I still had an account on here lol, and then..... immediately purchased a doll I wanted from way back when that just happened to me on the marketplace with the perfect faceup. Oops!

But anyway, I'm waiting for my new (well, new for me) Unoa Lusis to come home~ She's supposed to ship out early next week!

I just bought a 5th Motif Venitu head after looking for one for a reasonable price for quite some time. He will be my late birthday-present to myself! Can‘t wait for his arrival to start working on his face-up!

 

Yes I received my switch Taeheo head! So happy, once again never thought I would get my hands on one but here I am. Just wiped his old face up and can't wait for the weather to get better so I can give him a face up. And start saving for a conorarium bust part for him. Also still no name for him...

@Cheddot well welcome back to the hobby! And so nice finding a doll you wanted so fast after returning! Hope she will arrive fast. I also immidiatly bought a secondhand doll after returning from a long hiatus. The do arriving pretty fast compared to buying a new one was a nice boost to start again .

@Lornica Better a late birthday present then no birthday present. Especially if it's a venitu!

I have one final payment and then I too, can bring home my first BJD! I was so shocked when I saw her for sale on Instagram I fell in love immediately and even sold part of my toy collection for her I cannot wait to get her home
