Large Sea of Glass (Vings Seira)

White seraph on the shores of heaven.

Gael has found solace in the ocean. The endless voice of the waves sing a hymn of praise; even though he can't join them anymore, the sound still comforts him. Today, the dawn is the profound blue of the empyrean, and the waters are like glass.

These photos were taken at a seaside beach. We're in a bay, so there's no surf. This morning was very cold, clear and still, so the water was beautifully calm.

@lutke Thanks - I want to bring Gael to a surf beach someday, but I agree this calm inner bay is perfect for him too.

@daeki Thank you. I've lived all my life next to the ocean and I'm more used to surf beaches with strong ocean waves. But this is a beach inside the bay where there's no surf at all, it was so beautiful and probably easier to take doll photos . I want to come back again!

 

@tinyflame Thank you. I got up before sunrise to get to this location. The beach is west-facing, so the sun was rising from behind the land. I was here early enough to take pics of the dawn, before the sun completely rose above the land and changed all the lighting conditions. The pink colour on the horizon was exquisite, I'm glad my camera got those colours.
