Hi all So I finally decided to show you how I work on SD head. But let's start with the background. As it's, 8-9 years ago, I decided to make my own BJD doll, I worked with her, but since I had little experience in modeling, and there was little information on materials for sculpting, and I could hardly imagine the structure of BJD dolls, because I don't have any BJD doll. In the end, I never finished it. This is a story with an unhappy ending. And it's been a few years, and when my collection is already quite a lot of BJD dolls, and now I know how they look, how their bodies, hinges and so on. I started to sculpt the head SD size. About the creation of the body I still think I probably won't even dare to take this step because it's very long. In General, this guy's name Mako. How it all began... And began again to sculpt the missing, and to cut off the excess Spoiler: + WIP - Mako SD head by Yulia, on Flickr WIP - Mako SD head by Yulia, on Flickr WIP - Mako SD head by Yulia, on Flickr WIP - Mako SD head by Yulia, on Flickr WIP - Mako SD head by Yulia, on Flickr
[QUOTE = "Zardi, post: 12576040, участник: 62395"] Очень красиво! Мне нравится его костная структура и его губы [/ QUOTE] Aw, thank you so much
He's so handsome and lovely!! I like the lips especially, so delicately sculpted . Such a great start already, I think he will turn out wonderfully.
My Mako has already got both ears. I did a little work with forehead, he became taller. The head cover was also slightly transformed. Meanwhile, I ended of the first pack of masses for modeling. Tomorrow I will unpack another one and continue the work! Untitled by Yulia, on Flickr Spoiler: +1
It is so beautiful! I cannot wait to see when you have finished! I am sure that it will be absolutely stunning!
Looks great! I especially like the spacing on eyes on the face. Sometimes people tend to put them waaaay to far apart. These are just great! Since the head is pretty big, have you thought of making teeth a separate piece? Just curious
A little process, for a long time did not upload anything here. I managed to make a straight line of junction of the cap and head )) And she also modified the inside of the cap ) Untitled by Yulia, on Flickr Untitled by Yulia, on Flickr
in fact, the head is not very big for SD size. In the future I want to make a head with interchangeable teeth or with a tongue. It's just that this is my first serious creation, so I was afraid to do such serious things ))
Work on Mako's head is completed. It remains to wait for casting time. It will be in January. In the meantime, I decided to dream up on the theme - Mako’s head in color and with makeup.
Nice work! He turned out super cute. If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the junction of the head and cap? I'm sculpting a head at the moment and my junction looks nowhere near that nice.
