New Are there any female SD bodies in the range of 58 to 65 that have an extra shoulder jointes? I know Supiadoll has one, though I'm not certain about how functional it is. ANS has the 61, Impldoll used to have and is planning on a new one and then Coral Reef had just a jointed torso part for sale recently. But other than that I don't really know of anyPreferably it would be from a more common brand. But indie brands that do the occasional preorder are fine too. Just nothing in like the "artist" category (as in extremely expensive) or anything hard to obtain (like discontinued ones). Any pointers are much apreciated
New Not a real joint, but Unoa Zero dolls have a shoulder gimmick which allows them to shrug. Nude doll pic here.
New Oh true, I completely forgot about them. This is still so cute and I wish companies experimented even moreThe human body has so many joints and movement, it would be so cool to see totally new things never done before
New Had it; wasn't a fan. Didn't find the functionality to be that great. Have the old one; I like it quite a bit, but ugh the legs. Cannot wait for the new one! Also, while I like the jointed shoulders, others did not. Hello, fellow doll shoulder-joint lover! May I introduce you to the marvelous Telesthesia and Dragon swivel elbows? How I love them. Life-changing. I'm also with you. I've seen beautiful shoulder joints on Miracle Doll bodies, but it appears to be reserved for the male bodies only. Dreaming Doll recently released a new Ballerina Body with multiple torso joints AND shoulder joints! 66 cm with head (69 cm with heel legs). I have a Little Elva and a Queen Elva body, so I'm a pretty big fan of Dreaming Doll's graceful sculpting.
New I happened to see this preorder today - it's limited and may be in the "too expensive" range, but the 1/3 bodies are 58cm and have shoulder joints. I think it has some lovely qualities, but is too tall for me! Black Ship Doll - Oil Painting Body
New @MaleficentMrsofEvil Thank you so much! That's what I heard. It would have been my top option otherwise I really really hope they release the plump one with the shoulder joint. And maybe different knees too. . Hi to you too! I'm sure they add a lot of motion. Aren't they hard to pose though, with them being to seperate pieces? Or do they like interlock? Also what a greeting you get when scrolling down the linked page lol Please, ladies too Omg, I've looked at Dreamingdoll so many times and never even noticedShe is quite tall, but honestly such a beautiful body!
New Super pretty indeed, but out also so of my budget for the colour I'd likeThis has been the biggest heartbreak this month
New Best shoulder joints I’ve ever worked with are on Twigling’s dolls, but they absolutely break the affordability criterion. I have this body in every height it’s available in, and I absolutely love it. It’s my favourite body in this hobby. BlackShip’s oil painting body looks pretty good though—I’d really like to compare the two!
New That's one cute body! I totally get why you like it so much. The shortest version would be so perfect
New @Arimioa - Aw, sorry the Oil Painting body doesn't fit with your budget! Maybe you'll be able to find one in the future at a secondhand price. It does seem like shoulder joints are appearing more often, so maybe another body will come out in your budget range soon. I hope so! @Chameleon - the Twigling bodies are beautiful! I was sooo close to owning one once but that was before I realized my preferred configuration was just too tall for me (alas!). The shoulder joints are very elegant indeed. Even though they are still in the minority, I am excited to see more dolls coming out with these options. I've always been puzzled as to why it seemed that the more interesting jointing systems appeared to be reserved for 1/4 dolls (e.g. Tender Creation, Chimera Dolls, etc.). Bring on the shoulder joints, neck joints, actually functional extra torso joints!
New Thank you, I'm sure if it is meant to be it will find to me in the future Yes please!!! I am desperately wishing for SD versions tooBut as you said, I think it is slowly gaining a bit more traction, so fingers crossed It's also nice to see others who like this type of jointing a lot!
New I think these are both 1/4 scale, but I did get the first one and its MUCH larger than my other 1/4 dolls so... idk thought it was worth a mention? Dream Valley has the Windchime body, shes got extra cups in the shoulder joint that I find are spiffy. Dream Valley B4-37 Windchime Body – BJDivas They also recently made a muscular lady body, too. Same scale, but also have the neat shoulder cups. Dream Valley B4-37 Windchime Body – BJDivas
