scratch building a doll? Has anyone done this? help?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I've been curious about ball jointed dolls for a long time.

In real life, I'm am into craft and art. I am trying to look for people who had scratch built a doll. I did come across a japanese site which featured some photos as the person scratch built one.


If no one has experience in scratch building one, are there photos and detailed information about how the joints look when it's taken apart? Has anyone disassembled one or have a *gasp* broken one?
