    1. Anyone know the phone number for Chicago ISC.. I try and try but cant find any number for them on the web and calling USPS to ask for it doesnt help as they say they dont have it either.. YEAH RIGHT.. UGH

    2. I got my package after work today finally (husband picked it up at the PO while I was away) and I was right, it was in fact him! I was scared stupid that something might be wrong with him because the outside of the box looked like it had seen better days (and I know how sometimes post offices and etc can be a little careless with packages) but everything is a-okay! Everything accounted for and he looks brilliant! I am super happy! Have faith everyone! Your dolls will arrive! I just hope everyone gets theirs soon, I know how hard the waiting game is!

    3. The parcel I shipped on 9th December was delivered today!! it hasn't update in the usps until today but it has arrived safe. I'm so relieved after almost 2 months, really. I still have another parcel on the way but at least I know the parcels are being delivered.

      and the ems I shipped a few days ago arrived very quick to the US with no problems at all (although it was a small packet of 355gr.)

      I hope you guys receive your parcels soon!

      Though I did get an item shipped from Leekeworld that cleared customs in LA.. It should of actually been here today but nothing.. So I take that sign of it being the weather.. It's been bad here.. It's 8 degrees out now also.. Gonna drop -5 tonight.. It could be the ice :/

      The weather all around the US is horrible... So it could be why things are delayed..

    16. When I posted above I was on my way out the door to work, so I'm sorry if it made it sound like I hadn't had any change at all in my tracking since it shipped on Dec 21. I mean there were just no new changes since the last time I posted. ^_^ My tracking says it has 'cleared customs' on Jan 14, but there's been no update since then and the post office said it was still in customs so they couldn't do anything for me.

      My seller's got the Norwegian post tracking the package, though, and she's put in a claim.

    18. My item cleared customs January 29th.. Almost a week ago... Nothing at all has changed... So what now? We wait another month to actually get our packages AFTER they clear customs?... I'm so fed up with this.. Sadly.. I don't even expect him anytime soon... It doesn't make me feel better at all that it says he cleared customs.. It makes me worry more because he could get lost or damaged...

      *Sigh* And I think leekeworld gave me the wrong shipping number.. or at least they better have since these are limited wigs..

    19. Looks like they know its the wrong address and probably because of zipcode being wrong. Gosh I would contact Leekeworld and find out what zip they put on your package. and if you do indeed have wrong tracking. This whole post office fiasco sucks I swear, all of us left waiting will we or wont we get our packages. I dont think I have ever seen the post office and customs doing such an awful job of it.. UGH

    20. My thoughts on what out of customs means. It means its going to leave and head to its final destination. aka your house but since there has been so much backup w mail, I can only assume this means things leaving NewYork have to get on a plane again or worse a truck to be transported to the post office. not to mention all the weather delays the airport closings etc etc. its a mess for sure. so assume times actually out of customs and reaching you have been extended too. UGH!

      The next updates those of you that have packages that cleared customs will be out for delivery from your post office. that is if they are on the ball themselves when updating there tracking site. to which I doubt it..

    21. Yeah.. All the zip codes here start with 8 >.<

      Though.. There was one time I got a package that was sent from CA which is a couple states away and the package ended up going all the way to PA before it got to me o.O... I was like WTF?...

      I am hoping that is the case.. Or... Leekeworld gave me the wrong tracking number.. *sigh* Or I would even be happy if they didn't ship it yet too...

      I finally broke down and had a good cry after I wrote that last message... I really needed it I was horribly stressed for days... And it made me feel better.. Now I can wait for my boy without being bothered lol. I will take it as the weather messing it all up for all of us... To be honest I'm convinced the package hasn't even left NY yet..

I know it feels like forever an well it has been a long time. but showing in tracking here in USA is a good thing at least you know hes in the country and they can find the package if need be. I wish they would let my girl into customs already everyday checking is driving me crazy when there are no updates of her having been let in. SIGH!

    23. Finally got my doll yesterday! Sent from Hong Kong on January 6th, arrived at home in Missouri on February 3rd.

      From what I've been able to ascertain, packages sent in January are taking 2-3 times longer than normal (my Registered Airmail package took 3 days shy of 30 days, when normally they take 10 days), and packages sent in December are taking 4-5 times as long. Perhaps there's a HUGE backlog of things sent in December and they're slowly working through it all?

      And shaDrouet, my package didn't even show being in customs. My girl went straight from "Foreign International Dispatch" to leaving the sorting facility in New York. So it's entirely possible that she could be in customs and the tracking just isn't showing that.

    24. Is USPS being slow in general? I sent a package to someone in Washington state, it sailed through customs, was in transit for three days, made it from New York to Washington where it eventually got stuck in Seattle for two days before being moved to a USPS depot in Federal Way; after that, there's been no movement or update at all. From past experience of sending doll packages to the US, once the package arrives at the local depot (especially if it's in the morning), the package is delivered on the same day. It just seems like USPS is being slower than usual this time :(

      Incidentally, for anyone who is wondering, it only took 1 week for my package to get from the UK to Washington state. Considering how bad the weather has been, I'm surprised it made it from east to west coast so quickly *__*

    25. Your posts gives me hope someday she will show up.. right now I've hit 5 weeks. what gets me is EMS shipping I thought would be alot faster then this is taking that's for sure.. Keep you all posted and thanks for all the posts they really do help keep us all informed on what is going on, and offer hope to those of us that are still waiting for some kind of word on our parcels.

    26. Ok so.. I am hopeful that maybe he will show sometime next week.. So far nothing yet. No change in the tracking.

      Also Leekeworld did put the wrong zip code lol. They put a 6 instead of an 8. So that package arrived today.. I just wish my boy would have too.. Maybe still stuck in NY >.<

I'm not sure if this is relevant to your situation but as of November 2010 USPS imposed a new security check on all international mail - as a result anything over 16 ounces being sent to the USA is now subject to a $9 surcharge, USPS charges this surcharge to cover the cost of the security and each sending country collects it on their behalf - this is causing lengthy delays as every parcel over 16 ounces is subject to security screening where before it was random or suspicious parcel screening only....

      From Australia to the USA is taking an additional 2-3 weeks on top of the normal 1-2 week delivery time for regular airmail....

      I can provide a scan of the pamphlet we received at work if you need it...?

I know how you feel Shin. there out there somewhere and hopefully the month of Feb will be a lucky one for us all. .I find it funny that packages mailed in Jan are having no big issues coming in. I wonder if they have a place where they stuck Dec mailings and are going thru them seperately you would think they would take priority but apparently they are not. I think you and I are the last ones waiting for any updates as others seemed to have made it to Customs, already. although as YourRoyalDemoness says hers went from foreign dispatch right to out of sorting facility so who knows what they heck is going on over there in customs.


      I do know alot of countries had to scramble to meet the requirments of how things were going to be shipped. boat etc. as some of those were not in place once the ban started. which left countries stuggling to figure out how to get the packages out. one of the reasons some countries started refusing to take packages weighing more then a pound. or shipping certain ways for that matter.

      thank you WhiteWings for that update, something I didnt know.and would love to see. so all those packages US is awaiting money on before they are to be let in?? Geeesh

      I also am so disappointed in the US mail system for not keeping us informed about what is exactly going on, they do have updates on their site about delays only just now as I suspect they have gotten enough calls they felt they had to post something but still it doesnt really mention what is going on with the backlog and when people can at least expect updates something I would of liked to be made aware of. surely by now USPS and Customs are at least speaking to each other about what the problems are. and when they might resolve.

      I found this on USPS site just now dont know when it was posted though I think it was recently

National and local weather conditions are being closely monitored, and updates will be provided as more detailed information is received from the affected areas. This latest storm has affected all inbound and outbound mail flows, including collection and delivery in the affected areas. Several airports have already been closed and hundreds of flights cancelled. This same weather has also resulted in severe thunderstorms with damaging gusts towards the south, along the Mississippi-Alabama line, and from south-east Louisiana into west-central and south west Georgia and the Florida panhandle; the damage in these areas is still being assessed. Because the weather front moved further north, the Washington DC area was not affected.

      The USPS international service centres in Chicago and New York will be unable to carry out receipt or dispatch operations to or from the areas impacted.

    34. It's true, it's as if they have the December shipments stored or somenthing and they're always forgeting about them! Why is it possible! How sad and dissapointing, I have never had problems with mailings to the US until now. Before that, usually my packages reached there in a week!! T___T I think, shaDouret, we're the last ones not knowing a thing about our mailings! T________T Thank you for all the information, I hope February brings all of that to a happy end.

      - 1 sent on November 17th. Claimed. Awaiting reply from my post.
      - 1 sent on December 10th. Claimed. My post replied me it is not lost, just awaiting USPS to deliver it.
      - 1 sent on December 14th. Claimed. Same as above.
      - 1 sent on December 20th. Claimed. Same as above.

      I think it's know clearer for everyone.

At least we all had each other to keep updated with info even when post office was giving us none. I know this thread has kept me sane while I waited it out.

    49. I'm so glad to hear it, shaDrouet! and everyone else getting their packages at last! I wish I had similar news.

      I sent an email to the post office two weeks ago, and the first thing I got from them (On Thursday 2/3) was a link to a survey asking how my recent experience with them was! Which is pretty comical, since I hadn't even gotten a reply yet to my question. (They were supposed to respond within 2-3 business days.) Finally late Friday, I get this to my work mail, so I didn't see it until this morning.

      That's it. Basically, we don't know where your package is, or why it's taken so long to get to you, orwhy it's stuck somewhere in New York. It's not our problem, get your sender to do a trace. Which she already started, last week, and I haven't heard anything since about it.

      I just counted. 48 days since my package was mailed. 24 days since it presumably "cleared customs." That's just normal days, not business days, but it doesn't make it any less absurd. I'm so angry and frustrated, expecially since right now money is /so/ tight and I really struggled to be able to afford to get him when I did. It was supposed to be my special Christmas present, just a little bit late.

      I could really use that money right now.

Did you call the New York ISC number provided in this thread.. they do answer the phone if you call between 2pm and 4pm EST. least they have both times I have called them. and they took my tracking # and did call me back within an hour each time. but you must get a live person on the phone and then say to them My package is there here is tracking can you tell me what is going on .. it might help. if you have called before call again. if your tracking is saying it is there then they can find it and hopefully give you some answers. Forget about the USPS they are no help they only go by what is showing on tracking updates. and cant offer more assistant but New York ISC should be able to locate your package since if its there. keep us posted.

      very rarely but sometimes a parcel will be pushed aside till someone sees it and gets it off to the sorting facility where it is then shipped from to your post office calling them and making them look for it might help get the push it needs.

      something else I did that might help I shot an email off to CBP you can find where to send a question to them on there site. I sent them my tracking # and the claim number I got from my seller. and asked them what was the problem on how long my doll was taking, no response but three days later she showed updates. so I dont know it might help. but do get the claim# from your seller when sending them the question w your tracking

    51. I'm beginning to grow impatient again..... No updates... Nothing.... I really hate customs right now.... *Sigh* I'm beginning to feel again as if I am never going to get him home.... :(



      Update: Ok so... I decided to call that number... They told me it was invalid.. It doesn't work for them...... So.... There's nothing more I can honestly do... I'm about to honestly give up hope on him ever arriving... Sucks that he wasn't insured or even sent the method asked..

      I wish he could just randomly show up today

      I am glad some packages are making it through though.

    53. Great news everyone! Out of nowhere, with absolutely no updates what so ever on the website my doll arrived today!!!
      It was so unexpected that I just sat there for a minute.

      I actually received the slip saying that I missed the delivery, but I waited until about 20mins to 5 and went down to the post office. My mail guy had already done his run and had dropped the box off for me to pick up tomorrow. ( I obviously got it today because I went there around closing when all the mail trucks have already driven back) So now my boy is here! Sorry no box opening pics I tore open all the packaging in the car while my bf was driving. @.@

      For a time estimate: Doll shipped 12/14/10 , long arse time........., arrived 02/7/11

      There is definitely hope for everyone with no updates on the website or from calling. Believe me I called them multiple times and for all they knew my package was wisked away by fairies or ninjas or something.

    59. Small packages aren't showing. The packages I sent was all small (but with tracking numbers) and I'm still waiting for even a change in the tracking info other than "origin post bla bla".
