So, I was looking at the photoshoot nightmares thread where people discuss thier biggest problems that occur when they are trying to take a picture. Well The biggest problem people seemed to have was kitties invading their shot.... So I thought that that would make a fun photo themed game. Rules: Your picture must be an invasion! It can not be one where you wanted your pet/animal to be there or you tempted them into your shot, it has to be one where you had no intention of your pet/animal being in the pic but they decided otherwise. I'll go first This one is dark, and it doesn't help that my cat is black Cat Butt! And, the invasion of the clothing box...
I was getting Eric to pose with Kira my dog, but Kira's daughter Cara (the white one) had to come rolling along to see what was going on XD and.. Fissle : I'm not listening to the old "Its behind you" trick I'm sure I've got lots more I'll find for this thread ^^
I just posted this elsewhere but.... Hamster Hiney Curios Cat Puppy in the background of my box opening
It's funny how any time I point a camera anywhere in Dante's general direction, he just NEEDS to sit in front of it and pose... He completely invaded and took over my box opening. AoD Opening 1 by vicemage, on Flickr There was honestly no getting him away from those boxes... AoD Opening 03 by vicemage, on Flickr All the pictures I have from this opening that DON'T have him in them are either tightly zoomed in, or I pushed him out of the way and took the picture fast. AoD Opening 19 by vicemage, on Flickr And in this one, I removed him from the shot about half a dozen times (to have him just come right back and settle in again) before just giving up and taking the picture with him in it.
Ohh, I've got several of these. I've had to lock away the cats whenever I want to take pictures indoors now. I was trying to photograph Heath in his new kimono, and Bug needs to know what's going on. Dumb cat even sniffs at the lighting. Poor Emmy. She got sat on. I even have video of this meeting.
Bluefairy Olive, Where are you going ,Alice? outfit frmo DOllmore. I KNOW that. THAT is my DREAM doll! *Gets uber jealous* CAn Emmy come visit me and Danny?
Tried to make a photostory, but it was too dark and my cat always butts in when I put a doll on the ground. Kitty: Hmmm foooood? Jack: Aaaaah mah horns DDD: OMNOMNOM Kitty: k no food. me done. please to remove scary doll plz.
I was trying to take some pictures of Juno in her new dress and shoes. Kanga, however, was displeased. The doll, you see, was getting all of the attention. Kanga is an attention hound.
I don't do a lot of photoshoots, but I love this thread and wanted to contribute...Here is my kitty, Chloe, being super-nosy when I was trying to open some dollie clothes that came today. I had everything on my bed but had to relocate it shortly after the photos to a less cat-accessible area! She's obsessed with boxes and tissue paper!
I thought, for whatever reason, I was the only one! I have four cats so its not very uncommon for them to decide its their turn.
Invading Invaded Its the cheese. She loves cheese, but I needed cheese for the scavenger hunt.. Oh well.
Aww everyone has such cute pictures! I've got a couple of really old ones... My handsome Huestis making himself home in the box of my very first doll (Madolynn/CP Soo) Baby chinchilla Maia making herself at home on Madolynn's lap Can't wait to see more pictures
Haha, reminds me of this one time while I was taking some random pictures of Conrad and Siere and my dog Comet was apparently feeling neglected and extra clingy, so he came and invaded me and the dolls on the stairs! XP Yes...he's lying down on the stairs... =___=; He actually started off on the same level as Siere, then I tried to get him to go away by pulling him off the stairs, but he just went to the next stair... ...until he was stuck between me and the staircase. And before all that, he insisted on trying to give me kissies while I was trying to get him to leave me alone~ (Conrad doesn't look pleased. xD)
This is a wonderful idea for a thread. First one that made me REALLY laugh out loud. Here is Danny thinking my photographic light box makes a good tent. My daughter's cat Phanny settling in on the couch while I was trying to set up a shot with Odette. And Trouble overlooking Gilberte. He thinks he's HUGE!
My big chunky-cat, Loki, pretending to be blissfully unaware that he's crashing my photo shoot. Always has to be the center of attention...
These are from a few years ago, just found them. I was trying to take some shots on the window sill to get good lighting and my 2 little bugger kittens just had to investigate. I kept trying to get them to leave Arashi alone but it was no use. I took him into another room to try again on a different sill. My big girl decides she wants to get in on the action this time. I gave up trying.
Trying to get pix for another member and here's my bengal cat, Zarabi checking out what's going on. She has a crush on Liam. No one is going to care if I just sit here and groom - ShadowHawke -
this thread =^i^= Even my cat Pika knew something was amiss with Firestorm, my newest doll, hehe (thanks, julia!). Firestorm: ...!!! Lancer: ...oh my! Mei-Lynn: *snicker*
Inusushi: Your "Bug" looks JUST like my Seimei! (what breed is he? my vet thinks Seimei is part Burmese despite that I got him as a kitten from a shelter.) This is the day Megumi decided "Dolls are OK" rather than "dolls are wearing cat toys"... (this was also the box opening day for my first GIRL doll!) Megumi had sorta been raised to be a photographic model... so she tends to pose when seeing the camera. almost forgot this one: for Solstice my DD got me a Horse! (for my dolls) Looks like something out of a video game: Hero on horseback with his Panther familiar/sidekick.
The box is the one my daughter's Peaks Woods Cue came in. She is a 65 cm doll and the cat sort of overflows the box. Sorry it isn't really an "invasion picture" but she really loves this box and will come in whenever she hears it being opened and will climb right in.
Although the mods decided it should go here my cat wasn't attacking my doll while i was taking pictures but doing it and i grabbed my camera. It's not really "invasion" but i don't really care i just wanted to post it. So if you see my previous comment and it didn't make any sense i edited it so it makes sense now The reason this came about today was because for the past 8 months my cat had no interest in my little 26cm Leekeworld-D. I figured he wasn't into resin even though everyone told me cat's love it. So i had my doll, brand new msd, I just got her yesterday. Today I had her sitting down, naked, while I was measuring her and my cat came by. I'm sorry for dolly nudity - see above comment I caught my cat attacking my dolls hand, and her pinky finger. When i told him to leave her along he started to lick her head! Yum resin flavor .
Oh, those cats! If I tried to take a picture of them, all I get is cat butt. But if I'm photographing my dolls, there they are looking cute! Anytime I try to sew something, I always have help holding down the fabric: And what turned out to be one of my favorites... I was photographing my new girl Elizabeth with Ryling looking out the window, and Sudian jumped up on the dresser and sat down next to her to fing out what everyone was looking at! My cats are so helpful.
LOL I was taking pictures of Itachi and I had to answer the phone when I came back my cat Cloud came in and fell asleep >.< and then Poor Yuki gets really close to Toshiro
I have tons of these with pullips, but only one with a bjd. xD Aya the one-eyed cat loves picture time. But if I try to take a picture of her, she runs off.
Tasukitty, your cat looks just like my tortie! =D Here's Phoenix invading my photo for the Delf photo thread. The moment I started snapping he came in and laid right next to her. I swear he thinks the camera is just to take pictures of him XD
Happily posing my boys, when suddenly my little dog Bisquit comes streaking into my room, mows down Tarrant, and when I snapped the pic, it looks like he's laughing! XDD Look at that tail wag, you know he's pleased with attacking my poor $400 doll and throwing him into that tripod leg. -_- (No, he's not missing a paw, it's just under him blended into his fur.)
I was taking pictures of my boy when my rabbit came, tried to find out why she wasn't the center of the photoshoot.
Yeah, it's happened once . . . or twice . . . Yes, she is kneading his thigh! Then was off to flirt with the other resin guy on the bed . And even outside you run into space monsters.
I was taking closeups so I didnt even notice Mimi had snuck into the area for about five mins. Generally she is not allowed anywhere near them cos she sheds like a....shedding machine.
Suki was going nutso one day while I was taking pictures. She was going about a million miles an hour so she's very blurry... ,
My sister's cat Tinker Belle came to keep me company, while I was taking pictures of my Bobobie Espree.
I was trying to catch a photo of my new boy Azriel bonding a little with his best friend Kristen... I didn't even notice the cat until later...
Some Pictures of Baltar doing malefic things XD A box opening without me? no way!!! So you are traying to make some pictures? i wanna too!!! (after that everything finished on the flor TT__TT) This pillows are mine, so tell your dolls to go find something else! Another box opening!!!
Ah cats and their curious ways I wanted to take some nice shots of my doll couch, placed everything into perfect position, added the little tea-table and all..turn around to take the pic..and guess who claimed the couch?? Or when you look at the taken pictures afterwards you suddenly notice a curious white blurry cat sneaking on the backrground..arrgh!
"Can I open it?" by musicbrains, on Flickr Mum's opening the box here (when my minifee arrived!) and Charlie's getting in on it... hahaha. "Charlie honey, wanna get off the box so we can open it?"
While trying to catch a tender moment of father holding son, my dogs constantly demanded my attention. Probably because I was laying on the floor to get the shots... That is not your blanket! Get your nose out of my frame!
Meg lives outdoors, so this never happens unless I'm outside and in the front yard. Old pic is old, but still so cute :P
Rocky prefers when he's the center of attention (and often tries to steal dolls and doll-related things): rocky tried to help by bagofspiders, on Flickr
