Warning Scammer: Bulgogi/Loli-hime

Earlier in 2017, we banned a member with the username Bulgogi. We have become aware that the Bulgogi account was a return of Loli-hime (who also tried to make accounts under the names of Hirari, Prupate, and Kili). She may have used the names himehimechan and honeybadgering on some other sites in the past as well.

There was another DOA account concurrent with the Bulgogi account, under the name Kobuuta. This was represented as the account of a friend, using such emails as [email protected] (under the name Stephanie Dickie) and [email protected] (which was used for a prior DOA account in 2012 under the name Chibi-Angel-Chan). While this appears to be a separate person who is helping Bulgogi, it would not be unexpected to find them sharing account access to whatever forum they may join.

Despite a number of successful transactions on DOA, it was reported that Bulgogi had sold some items but never shipped them, had agreed to trades but didn't send out her half of the trade, and had other issues with misrepresenting quality and condition of items that she had sold or traded and had shipped. There was also report of falsely misreporting the condition of items that she had purchased and received, in an effort to obtain undeserved partial refunds.

We believe her name to be Alaina or Alana Langdon, and she appears to be from Barrie, Ontario, Canada. She has also used IPs tracking to Ottawa ON, and Gatineau ON.

She has used various emails on Paypal; [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] are a few that we know of. It has been reported more than once that her Paypal account may be under the name of Ally Rose.
She has also been active on Instagram under the names Glumbean and NeptunesBlessing.

As with other people whose repeated scamming attempts go far beyond the occasional difficult or failed transaction, we are lifting our usual confidentiality in order to warn the community. We have banned multiple accounts, but it is extremely likely that she will try to create another new account in the future, as that is a common occurrence in situations like these. We are therefore warning everyone to be careful in the Marketplace. Remember that besides checking feedback threads, one should also check what may have been revealed in the Problem Transactions forum. Someone may have good feedback overall, but other issues in Problem Transaction threads may not be apparent in a regular feedback thread.
