Thank you, WAKelly. SJ dolls are beautiful. I think you’ve got a very good plan going forward and I hope you’ll see the right dolls for you to order that will make your heart sing.
I Feel the same ! I was going to put in an order for the SD onces this month I love the mood head for Melissa but I don't need to buy 2 heads . So I will wait and see what they come up with next !
@KayCee_Curtis - You don't have to buy the two heads. There is the option to opt out of the second head in the ordering choices.
New My newly arrived mermaid with SJ blushing and custom faceup. SartoriaJ MSD Mermaid Marina by Iplecollector, on Flickr
New @Patrice S She is amazing! And you really nailed it with the blanket and the merkitty Really love that picture
New Thank you skyealloway and Ashemanu. I love how she turned out and how well her grotto came together.
New Wow I’m a bit confused! I’ve never heard of this brand and the dolls look SO real! Do you edit the photos because I see no joints at all? I’m very curious
New There must have been a lot of requests for Nefra in MSD size, I noticed her on the SJ website this morning. Originally there seemed to be no plans for this month's release to be available in the smaller size, I had asked on the Q & A forum and Jay responded that they'd only be available in SD size due to the details in their costumes and accessories. But now at least MSD collectors will be able to have Nefra & her wig. I wonder if they'll do the same for Menes too. She's a gorgeous sculpt but I'm going to pass this time. I like for my dolls to have a natural, minimal makeup look. I have my fingers crossed for a doll like Colette, Heather, or Juliet to be available someday.
New angievx, thank you and yes I did edit out the joints. WAKelly, I also asked for an MSD Nefra and was very happy to see that they decided to offer her in MSD.
New I posted a theme request on the SartoriaJ website forum for a Jane Austen world theme. I'm not sure if it's something they would do but I would go crazy if they did! I wonder if it would be worth making requests for other themes too, like Scottish Highlander or Gold Rush themes.
New They actually did some outfits for Jane Austen time frame a few years ago. They had a dress like Emma and the outfit like Knightly or if you like like Elizabeth and Darcy.
New A helmet for Jude.... My son in law 3-D printed it for me. It's a touch too small to fit over his wig, so he's just going to hold it.
New @MB Lilac wow! I had thought it was sculpted, it looks very similar to some of the armor you've made. Did you paint it yourself?
New Thanks! It was printed black, and I sprayed it silver, then 'aged' it with brown paint. I'd not be able to sculpt something that detailed. Now my son in law is attempting to print a simpler Medieval helmet for my Matias.
