40–49cm Dolls Saoirse is here! (Doll Leaves Louis)

My first msd size doll has arrived! She's such a nice size, I thought the contrast from yosd to msd would be somewhat overwhelming, but it's totally fine!

Cricket is ready for a friend!

The Doll Leaves box is nicer than the Impldoll box Cricket was in, haha

Such a pretty and soft cushion! She's wrapped up nice and snug like a bubbly mummy. I also ordered a pair of white lashes for her, and I got sent a small magic sponge and white eye putty as gifts (yay for the white putty, I got sent blue with my last two orders)

Her COA card- it only has her model number on it, no birthday or anything, so I'll have to kinda guess on that and pick one for her. I like the bird cage design on the back though.

And here she is! Standing like a champ! I ordered the Doll Leaves Louis head with the type 1 girl body. She's strung kinda tight so I can't get her hips to stay side to side, I may have to see about restringing her... Yikes...

I love being able to pull out her upper thigh joint and bring her knees up so she can sit nicely

And of course, the kneeling pose that Doll Leaves bodies seem to be so good at

I can't wait to get her faceup done and start making some clothes for her! Definitely some fantasy elven or fae type clothes to go with her ears

 

@MoonLight Wolf For the fairly low price point, they’re very good at posing, and they have a lot of elf-eared sculpts which is right up my alley

@Hatsu Cricket likes her ears, and likes having someone to cuddle up to- he misses his older brother, so she’s good company for him until I can find a good sibling sculpt

@Leo Pheonix She is so good at posing, and that seems to be what I hear from anyone who gets a Doll Leaves msd!

I didn’t really fully appreciate until I was dressing her, she stands like a rock! Like, I can nudge her around and she just keeps on standin’ whereas with little Cricket there it’s like a balancing act, haha. Once I can get around to figuring out a wig for her, I’ll finally be able to share her with everyone!
