I ordered a Saintbloom Charlotte. Mr. Saintbloom said he will ship at the end of the month. I am excited.

 

I ordered my charlotte too, waiting on her to arrive at the end of this month. Can't wait to see her xD

So, are they still producing dolls? And does anyone know about what the shipping to the USA would be? I've been eying these girls so long but worried about whwther they are available to order.

 

Yes I believe they're available to order, you can email him and see if theyre Available though to be sure. And the shipping was $38 to the us.

 

I paid about $210 for mine, shipped to the US.

Saintbloom said my girl would be mailed in 2-3 weeks, then when I paid he said 'end of april'... As of last week it was 'Monday' but I guess that didn't work out... it's Tuesday in Korea now. A bit impatient if only because of others' experiences.

EDIT: Saintbloom shipped yesterday, and sent tracking today. She is already on the way to the US from Korea!!

 

I emailed saintbloom about my order & he said Charlotte will be sent some time this week So it hasn't been sent out yet but hopefully she'll be here by this month

I had a good experience with Mr. Saintbloom, but that was about a year and a half ago before his father died.

 

My Charlotte arrived yesterday! I wished she would fit into my off topic doll clothes but they couldn't get past her thighs... so I made her outfit along with a face up today.. Here is a photo of her.. not completely done since I'm waiting on a proper wig and shoes.. but I'm so in love with her. She is so cute ^^

I have found that my sb girl can fit into some 1/6 figure clothing from Original Effect.

I want to grab charlie and betty, but I too can't justify the expense.
He mentions a new doll named "Beth", I am sure she will be beautiful too!!

 

I always Betty and Colette in tan but it comes out to over $400 with out the shipping added in and I just can't do it! I have one big layaway going already and anticipate one more. I really hope he doesn't give up making dolls!!

 

I have always wanted a tan skin Charlie, she's been on my wishlist since I saw pics years ago. I mentioned to a relative that I desperately wanted her, but I'm strapped for cash as my tuition bill came in higher than expected and they loaned me half the money/gifted me the other half as a late birthday n early Christmas present. My little dream girl is finally coming home! And it only took her being discontinued!

Thank god I subscribed to this thread. I wanted a tan doll, I'm not sure which sculpt. I hope they are making the one I wanted!!! Maybe getting two heads would be a good idea?


Awww I guess alexisbears' brown (tan?) Diana was the one I really liked. Which is out of stock.... and not being offered. Charlie and Charlotte are very cute though.

I agree about their clothes being difficult. I've heard yo-sd clothes fit and then that they don't fit, so for now I will be sewing and knitting my own items >__<;; The shoe sizes confuse me, so I think I'll hold off on ordering anything until I can measure her and compare her to dolls I have.

 

I guess I need to take a very quick look at my Saintbloom girls as the order period is almost over. I originally got a tan Betty through the marketplace here and liked her well enough to buy a couple of others although I've never been able to grab a Diana. Like you all, I am hoping that Saintbloom is just discontinuing this line and will go on to make other dolls. Until recently, he has been very quick and reliable, and I enjoyed doing business with him when I ordered directly. Now I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

 

Btw, I haven't had a lot of trouble dressing these girls. Mattel Ken doll pants and shirts fit pretty well as do some Barbie clothes although they are iffier. I like my girls in pants and hoodies which are normally loose so I really haven't had a lot of trouble personally. The problem with these smaller dolls I have found is that even a half an inch an make a potentially good fit look terrible where it doesn't show so much on the bigger dolls. Good luck finding stuff!

 

If Ken & some barbie clothes fit her you might try any regular yosd / teenie clothes you have on hand or try to borrow some from a friend as Ken clothes usually fit the Soom Teenie gems and some Yosd size dolls.

When I went to post this there was a black border on my DOA page. Maybe a glitch or something.

Arg! I hope the sculptor makes a renewal version of all these girls! I will also keep my eyes peeled on the marketplace. But for now I will sob in a corner and lament that I cannot buy ALL THE THINGS! LOL!!

 

I just purchased a full set Colette in tan. Mr.Saintbloom said she will be shipped the second week of september. I'm so excited this will be my first time ordering directly from a company.

 

That would be so cool if he did a renewal! I have wanted to get an extra of these girls for hybrid options, since I just love their size and posing.

I just tried to access the Saintbloom site to see when there might be another preorder period and it appears to be down. Has anyone had communication with him recently?

Sienna, I only know I checked the 24th and it was down then. He had had some issues with the website before so hopefully it's only a temporary problem. I would like to see him introduce some more dolls.

 

He did indicate there would be another doll. Perhaps he is switching server hosts while there is some down time.

That is disturbing. Is one of them the paypal address? You might try again in a few days. There may have been a problem with some server over the weekend.

It took me half an hour to get her pirate outfit on. I had to take her hands & feet off. Despite being difficult to put in I like the little blue gray eyes she came with.

I have had some luck with yosd clothes for the Saintbloom girls, but their thighs are a bit bigger than usual and for me that has tended to be where the problem has been with fitting.

 

A new Saintbloom girl named 'Beth' is going to be available from November 16th ~ 30th, 2015 in normal skin for $170.00.
