Oh my gosh this is just amazing and it looks so realistic! I never would have imagined it was just foam and cardboard, I'm gonna have to get started making one of these now. I absolutely love this. Incredible work!
Thanks! The jute flocking is little trickier to handle since it absorbs moisture and stick together but definitely worth a try if you can’t trip to a store easy like I (I have two kids and one toddler)
I hope you get to give it a try sometime! It was really effortless to achieve this whole rustic/realistic effect!
Thank you for posting this; I will definitely have to give this a go in 2023. I attempted to make a fireplace out of clay, but it was a disaster
I wish I had seen this before I started my brick foundation wall for the outside of my diorama. This is great and I think it looks super real considering you didn't use anything too fancy.
Going to be trying this out later this week! I'll post photos when its done. Also, where is that adorable fox from?
Great to hear! I probably upgrade with a new make, or replace fake wood on the top with balsa wood. Possibility is infinite
Sorry for the delay! Ended up doing this in time for a Holiday meet in this past December! It came out ok, I think! More dollar-store version of yours but I still liked it
