66cm+ Dolls Rui - Asian 70+ BJD head

Something biggg this time. Huge jump from my usual 3cm heads :XD
Still have to correct some parts of the head and work on symmetry :dead

Oh and I tried gray Super Sculpey. I'm verrry satisfied with this clay. Especially the color! It's easier to see imperfections on gray surface. Since I love to work with polymer clay I can't cover it with gray primer, because you can't put it into the oven anymore.

I used Super Sculpey Firm. It's gray so it is easier to see if there are any mistakes without using any primer. I will use primer, but only when I'll decide that he is completely finished. Since I love polymer clay, I can't use primer too soon, cause I can't put primed head in oven

And the primer I use is a car primer. I tried Mr. Hobby but I can't see any difference except for the price (and for some reason mr hobby caused bubbles on the surface of the doll ).

aneemal, yes, I have this feelings too, some bjd males are too masculine and others are too feminine (not all of them but mostly )... So I tried creating something in between and I'm sooo glad that you like him even though it was my first try in making male head XD Thank you!


I changed his ears a bit and his chin (forgot to make photos though). And there it is, first layer of primer! Finally :dead:XD

resin color - Pale Normal from F-doll (compatible with Normal Fresh from Dollshe; Normal (actual) from Luts; Normal Yellow from Dikadoll)

Kyliebee, sorry, it took me some time but I remembered about picture with hands from Dikadoll. It will take some time for the head to match Dikadoll body, but it should be pretty good after the head yellow a bit.
