Hi! I'd like to share with you something I put together a few days ago. I know there are a lot of skirt patterns out there, but wanted to make my own tutorial on how I usually do it! I have used my Zaoll Luv as to demonstrate, but my skirt can fit on any SD girl with a 18cm waist. (It fits my Mirodoll big body perfectly too.) Also added a bit of logical instruction to the tutorials that you can use to create your version of the pattern for different sizes. The pattern has no seam allowance! Please remember that when cutting out~ ^^ The tutorial covers these subjects: Basic pattern adjusting Cutting out fabric (some tips you can use elsewhere too) Making a button loop What materials to use with each other Sewing and ironing tips and tricks http://gavalloni.hu/sewing-a-ruffled-skirt/ Thank you all and please post here if you make something!~ I'd love to se everone getting creative and use this tutorial and pattern, maybe as a base for something else? ^^
Thank you guys! If anything is unclear or need to be explained more in depth please let me know and I'd be happy to help ^^ Allso I'll love to see what you sew!
Super cute skirt and nicely made! This might be my first doll project. Thanks for the great pics and articulate instructions!
Thank you so much for this tutorial Thought I would post a picture of the skirt I made for my poor blank girl using your tutorial. I'm not the greatest hand sewer, but it turned out great! Your picture and wonderful instructions made putting it together a breeze IMG_20160924_165949 by Katherine, on Flickr
@ZiMaze Your pattern link is no longer working. Do you want to update it? Or should we remove this thread? Please @mention me with your response. Thanks!
