40–49cm Dolls Rosen Lied Holiday's Child Bambi

My Rosen Lied Holiday's Child Bambi arrived yesterday! I think this is the right category to put her in, as she is 39.5 cm tall so in-between the size categories!

I was in a bit of a hurry to open the box, as she is my most expensive second-hand doll. I have been wanting a Bambi for ages, as I absolutely loved her sculpt. When I received the insurance refund for my last second-hand doll, who was declared missing after two and a half months of no postal movement, I decided to bite the bullet and treat myself.


She was nicely packaged in bubble-wrap and a cute teddy-bear blanket!

Her face is so adorable. I have such a weakness for little teeth, and her chubby cheeks are so precious.

And here she is, I was so eager to dress her up in the outfit I bought her! Her name is Marie. Her previous owner included a pair of pretty blue eyes, though I have some custom ones on the way for her. I have a lovely wig on the way for her, but for now she is bald under her bonnet.

Marie will be the baby sister of my Aimerai Ginko, who should be here within the next month. I wanted to see if she would be the right height for him, so I posed her with my Ringdoll Cheshire, Freddie. She looked perfect with him, and I'm so excited to pose her with her brother!


I'm waiting for some new doll stands, so she gets to sit and keep my Little Monica Haazel, Yami, company until their stands arrive.
