66cm+ Dolls Ringdoll S Unboxing!

Ringdoll SenKai was the doll that made me determined to start collecting dolls! I was really taken with his face and body sculpt when I first saw him going up for orders. S and SenKai are the same sculpt (RGM44) but I liked the styling for S more since I'm weak to uniforms. I ordered the basic doll with a face-up in the middle of December last year and he arrived today after 10 months of waiting. It was a very long wait but it stills feel like yesterday when I made my order for him! S is in normal skin and on the RGMbody-3.

Here is the box! It's a nice shade of purple and has a very luxurious texture. The box was a lot thinner in size than I expected it to be. The packaging is solid and high quality.


Here are the contents! His head was originally wrapped in the bubble wrap off to the left, but I took a peek at his face-up during my lunch break because I was so curious. The envelope contains care information and the certificate of authenticity. A general Ringdoll brochure was included as well. The purple pouch has eyes, eye putty, velcro, and fist hand parts.


A closer look at his face! It almost looks like a bandage after surgery.

S fully uncovered! This body sculpt is great. I like this body type. He feels like a strong poser so far.

Care for some plastic foam? (No thanks. ) I like the resin color more than I thought I would. His ears have slight blushing and it is a nice touch.


I did not know what the face-up looked like on normal skin since S is tan in the promotional images. I asked Ringdoll about it before I made my order but they just told me not to worry about it too much. For reference, I put together a comparison of their face-ups. S is on the left and SenKai is on the right. They're fairly similar but it's basically S on normal skin. The included eyes are way too big for him and I'm definitely not using it.


I sort of amassed a fortune of wigs, so here is my new guy with different hairstyles and hair colors that fit his tiny head! I like him with dark hair. Which one is your favorite?

He stole a pair of 12mm eyes from one of my other dolls for now. This is the eye size I had in mind for him. There are no gaps so I am glad! I chose this brown wig as his temporary one. His name is Orpheus and he is a demon prince. I'm looking forward to seeing him with his final eyes and wig. I want his horns to be the perfect color so I have not painted them yet. Orpheus' outfit has not shipped so he will have to deal with whatever fits him.
