40–49cm Dolls Ringdoll Ring Kid Lucky Bag Doll Opening (Contains Doll Nudity)

I couldn't resist the Ringdoll Lucky Bags this Black Friday; odds were very decent I'd get someone I wanted, what with how many of their sculpts I adore, and really, with that discount? Well worth the risk!

Please excuse the lighting. I'm in Alaska; these photos were taken an hour ago, and it's already dark outside. Winter twilight does my camera no favors.

My first thought when I opened the shipping box was how pretty this doll box is. My favorite shade of purple, and so shimmery! There's just something about an especially pretty doll box that makes me even more excited for what's inside, you know?



Box properly documented, I laid it down and opened the lid, excited to find out who was inside.




...Well, I can tell from the breasts it's a girl? That narrows it down, at least. Also normal skin, which is a definite plus; for just how much I like some white dolls, I like surprisingly few company's white resin.

Might as well check the CoA, since all this nice stuff is on top! So I grabbed the envelope, opened it up, and found...




...a bunch of postcards and stickers. Don't get me wrong; they're stunning! But that didn't exactly help me narrow down who I got. Guess it was time to unwrap her. Also, I didn't ever find a traditional CoA. Can anyone with a Ringdoll confirm if this thing is the CoA, or if I need to email them? She's my first, so I'm not sure what's normal for this company. (Clearly, I bought on impulse rather than after careful research.)



There was so much tape on the bubble wrap around her head, guys. I was very careful, but ended up pulling out a knife to cut it all off.



Bubble wrap removed, and yet I still had no idea who I got. One last layer to go?



Miu! Not one of the ones I was hoping for, but I decided to get her eyes and a wig, and dress her up, to see if I have a shot at bonding with her.



Oh, yes, that's much better!



She told me her name is Darcy, so while I'm not quite there yet, I have high hopes we'll bond well with a little time. Guess I'd better plot a face up in case she stays!

She's gonna need a new body if she does, though. One time dressing her, and I've already found I really dislike the RKbody-06 body.

I did notice that (though I think the pendant has got a serial number on the back). I figured I'd keep the packing slip with the doll information to go with it as an extra bonus of proof that it came with this specific doll, and just black out my email if I eventually sell her.

 

Can I ask which body you got for her and how the resin matches? Might as well start collecting research
