* What did you order? Mechanical arm III and an Electronic Eye.

* When did you order? My order was confirmed on 2012-12-18.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? For the arm, yes. For the eye, no!

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? The arm was mostly the same. On the webpage, the plastic piece where the light show through is clear with no color and become red when the light is on, but the arm I received had that part red colored even when the light is off. Not a big deal for me.

The eye though, is totally different. On the official picture of Ringdoll, there's a part carved in circle around the hole where the light goes out that simulate the iris, and there's another circle around that that let some red light show through. What I received is a gray semi-sphere of plastic with random dent carved in it. It it not the same at all. It look way cheaper.

* Were you satisfied with the product? I'm satisfied with the arm, but NOT with the eye. I'm currently exchanging emails with Jenny from Ringdoll about that. I sent them pictures of what I received, they told me that what I received look like the picture on their website and that they sold many electronic eyes. But I'm really not satisfied with that answer as what I received is NOT like what they show on the website, and if the picture on the website was something like what I received I would have NEVER paid for that! I'm hoping for a replacement or a refund.

* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional) The arm is really cool, with a jointed hand, I think it is entirely in plastic, but I really love it. The eye of course is really really disappointing and look cheap. The shipping was kinda long (they told me 28-35 working days), but I only received my order on the 2013-03-25. Jenny is a really nice person and really patient!

* Would you buy more from this company? Yes and no. I'd buy dolls, because I have a Wolf I bought from Jeeryama and the sculpt is gorgeous, but for parts and accessories, I'll be sure to search thoroughly for reviews and pictures from owners before buying anything. Looks like there's some fake representation in their pictures (sadly I did some search before making my order but I couldn't find any owner pictures of the electronic eyes.) Or at least, they could update their pictures if the product change (like the plastic part of the arm, I personally don't mind that the clear part is red, but this could be disappointing for someone else).

What did you order?

I ordered a white skin Wolf doll with the RGMbody-02 without any makeup. I also ordered the Mechanical hand III a while later and asked to have both orders combined.

When did you order?

I ordered the doll on April 30 2013 and I ordered the mechanical hand on May 12 2013.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

Absolutely! The quality of the doll is amazing. The sculpt is beautiful, there are no seam lines which I greatly appreciate and he has great posing abilities. He looks exactly like I imagined he would and I really enjoy owning such a high quality doll! The mechanical arm is also really cool and also of high quality. I like the jointed fingers on it. The metallic look is very nice and realistic.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?

I ordered my doll without makeup but beyond that he certainly looks like the sale pictures. I think the sales pictures give a very accurate view on how the doll looks in real life.

Were you satisfied with the product?

I am super happy with my doll. I have looked at this doll many times since I first got interested in BJDs. He is exactly as I had imagined and I am very happy I purchased him .

Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional)

I really enjoy how well the doll and the mechanical hand poses. I also think it's great that the resin is so smooth with no seam lines at all. I was very happy to find a pair of closed hands and two pairs of very pretty eyes included in the dolls box when I opened it.

Would you buy more from this company?

Absolutely! I would be happy to buy from Ringdoll again!

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Certainly. He is very posable. He's the only doll of mine that can be posed in so many positions. No other doll of mine can do the same !
His resin is very nice and the colour is like I want it. He has an adorable faceup.

I am very happy ! Although I had another style in mind when I bought him, he has been restyled completely (by my youngest daughter - I let her handle it because I was curious what she wanted him to look like) and I love him to pieces !

I had ordered a Crystal with faceup. Got one without faceup . But that was solved friendly and quickly by Cherry. I got another head with faceup !
I got some extra pair of eyes both times. That was a nice surprise !
I very much like his poseability !

Certainly ! The communication was excellent ! I like that also. And the poseability really surprised me !

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Definitely. He's a gorgeous doll, poses wonderfully, and feels very sturdy. He was a lot of money for me, but I feel like he was very much worth it.
* Did the item look like the sales pictures? If he was painted, he would. All the pieces shown in sales photos were included, all the sculpting was the same, and the two heads that came with him were exactly the same as pictures of them blank.

His face-up was a teeny bit darker than I thought it would be, but that is fine. His eyelashes were NOT applied to his face-up, rather they were sent with him in a little baggy and I had to attach them myself.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Overall, very much.

My only disappointment was the eyelashes mentioned above, however it was not a big deal for me. Luckily I am very interested in face-ups and studied many Youtube tutorial videos while I waited for him to arrive, so I had a good idea of how to apply them. But had I not been interested in doing face-ups or didn't know what to do, I think I'd either be terrified while trying to apply them or would have had to pay even more money to get a face-up artist to do it for me. He is my first BJD and I was expecting them to be a part of the face-up that I paid for, especially since his sale pictures seemed to have included them and my partner's doll (of a different company) came with them on. That being said, I'm happy that they sent eyelashes with him so I at least had the option of putting them on.
Either than that though, he is an amazing doll. He's a good weight and poses beautifully. The rest of the face-up is absolutely gorgeous.

The unique idea with the brain behin a transparent resin headcap, the mechanic heart, all mechanical parts from feet to gasmask and tank - just gorgeous!

Sure!!! I already have Jack the Ripper and Misha on layaway - this time not directly from Ringdoll, I used an official dealer - but I'm sure I will order directly from Ringdoll again one day because their customer service is wonderful. The contact via Email was prompt and very kind all the time, they offered layaway which is very important to me, packed each part of the doll and accessoires so perfectly well and helped with the customs declaration so the shipping was fast and not much customs fee to pay

In 2012 I order a Full Set Kirin. In 2013 Ringdoll gifted me with a doll of my choice and I chose Grown Edward.

Kirin was a little before he discontinued, Jan 2012, i think. Edward was in November 2013.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Very much so. Both full set and basic doll.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures?
I love Ringdoll recent pictures because they are always very clear and you can see the face of the doll from many different angles. When I bought Kirin I was a little worried because I couldn't see his face very well but I was not disappointed at all. He was even more handsome than I thought. Edward too. Very expressive and versatile sculpt. So i would say they look even better than then pics.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Very. The quality was great before but I think they have improved since then. It makes me very happy to see it. As far as outfit goes, they are carefully made and fit the doll perfectly.

* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional)
As a faceup artist, I find it very important to give my own touch to the doll and make them look different from the company website. I find Ringdoll Grown very expressive and I love painting them. I also find them extremely elegant and actually they are probably the only ones that can stand on their own straight from the box.
I noticed with Edward that the resin changed, so did the left hand (something that bothered me before since it looked very stiff and unnatural). I'm happy with this changes, means they are looking to keep improving their products.

There are only 2 negative aspects. One is the jointed hand. I ordered it with Kirin because I already didn't like the old left hand from Ringdoll pictures, however, I was unhappy with the jointed hands . The elastic was very loose, very thin. The way the hook was placed meant the hand could not move on the wrist. They are beautiful hands, but those issues must be addressed (if they haven't already)
The 2nd negative aspect is that they do not send spare elastic, for neither the body nor the jointed hands. One of the fingers is not off cos the elastic broke and I can't find thin enough ones to replace it.

Definitely, it's already in my plans to do so. I wish they would stop making so many dolls I wanna buy!!

First I was a little disappointed by his faceup. It is really beautiful done, very delicate - but it's very pink, so the head is no match for the paler body anymore. Later when I dressed him it's no problem anymore, but if you dress him in some clothes which show more of his beautiful body, the problem will appear again unless I'll add bodyblushing.
His top hat is made of flat black rubber, so you have to be careful with scratches (even the tiniest scratches with fingernails get visible).
The outfit is amazing high quality, I cannot stop touching the heavy coat, I love the fabric.
The doll itself is strung very tough, which allows Jack to stand like a rock out of the box, but makes it difficult to change the head or hands (sadly you need to take off the hands for the extra accessiores. If I pull the hand parts, it's so tough and I don't trust the thin S-hook, so I feft Jack without his extras)
Jack's fullset came with so many extras! Next to lots of delicate accessoires there was this gorgeous extra book, designed very well and special, with wonderful information and pictures and extra CD.

Would you buy more from this company?
Yes!!! If my last free space at home would allow more large dolls, I'd fill up the room with more Ringdoll boys for sure!

Misha looks very cute, his faceup is done really beautiful and delicate. He is strung very tough, which makes it difficult to change the hand parts (you need to take them off to dress him in his fullset sleeves; I haven't tried this because I don't trust the S-hooks). I really wished Ringdoll would use a hand swapping mechanism like some other companies do, so it makes it easier to take them off for dressing tight outfits.
His fullset outfit is great! I love the fabric and texture! And what I love the most apart Misha himself, is the Oni mask which came with the fullset!!!

Would you buy more from this company?
Yes!!! If my last free space at home would allow more large dolls, I'd fill up the room with more Ringdoll boys for sure!

He was strung a little tight and squeaky, but I like it that way because I do stop motion. This is the first time I bought a doll from Ringdoll and I really like their boy's body. Lucifer is a very gorgeous sculpt!
The random eyes I received were too big for Lucifer as the iris covers the whole eye.

* Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional) Great posing, strong ability to hold the poses, stands strong, has a wide range of poses, beautiful sculpted face, lovely feet, nice slender legs. I don't really want to consider anything to be "negative" because I'm very happy, but if I were to ask for more then I would ask for more definition to the body sculpt such as the arms and hands. She has lovely hands, but I feel they could have more definition and detail. I like the thickness of the arms because they appear soft and "meaty" like a real person's (like mine) arms, but I feel they could use a little more "flesh and bone"--not thinner--just more definition like maybe around the elbow area for a little more realism. I could say similar things about the legs but I am happy about their elegant shapes and don't have any genuine complaints. I hope all that made sense. I'm not trying to complain but this may be something to think about for future editions of the body.
* Would you buy more from this company? Yes definitely!! I like the body so much I will soon buy an alternate head for it.

Absolutely! The dolls are so amazing and I absolutely adore the look, how well made they are and the super high quality! These guys have absolutely no seam lines when they arrive which is amazing! And they are so beautiful and pose so well!

The clothes are also absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend them!

I only have good things to say about my doll. There are no seam lines, the resin is super smooth to the touch. He poses wonderfully. I love the sculpt and how unique the facial features are as well as the style of the body.

If there's one thing I would have preferred to be different it is that I would have liked if the RGM body-02 hadn't been changed to have the moveable private parts. My first doll with this body type didn't have that bit moveable and I prefer it that way. However it's not a problem and not really a negative thing either it's more of a personal preference

Would you buy more from this company?

Yes, I would love to order from them again! I am already waiting for another doll from them.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes! The resin is so smooth and there are no seamlines or colour problems (especially with the grey skin Quiz, grey or tan skin often comes with weird spots - but not with Ringdolls). They are posing wonderful, both are strung very thight. Also the packaging is great, the boxes are so precious, not just plain cardboard boxes - they are both covered with shimmering dark purple paper, they open like a chest and close with magnets.

I got my dolls both blank, and they looked better than expected! Especially Quiz was a great surprise, there are some tiny veins and soft textures sculpted in the resin which makes him look even more alive

Were you satisfied with the product?
I'm very happy with them! If I could, I'd add more and more Ringdolls to my collection - all of them are awesome!!!

Quiz' legs are kicky, they always snap back into sitting posing, so it always takes some time and nerves to get him stand (hotglue will help). But this is just a small issue compared to their overall perfectness.
Oh! There is one thing which made me so happy - Ringdoll has included some stickers with cute illustrations of their dolls, I love them so much!!! Also they sent many gifts (big doll bag and cute Ringdoll iphones for apology for their delay, many wonderful postcards, eyes, Ringdoll "R" necklace, eyelashes, eye putty, small comb, free fist hands for Norman). All the gifts were included even I already got 2 gift heads for their Winter Event (Moyu & MengHe/Edward)

Would you buy more from this company?
Oh yes, if I had the money and free space I would love to buy lots more dolls from Ringdoll - existing and future dolls!!

Positive: when I ordered this doll it came with the full package the faceup the mobility joints the clothes the eyes the wig the weapons and extra pieces you name it their doll has it. For an awesome price. Compared to other doll companies I recently had experience with I bought a doll which was way more expensive then my ringdoll he only came with the eyes and his seam lines were not sanded. Ringdoll has gone the extra mile and did not sacrifice quality. their tan doll or at least mine has no obvious seam lines and was cheaper. great quality great price great job.

negative:this is not really a negative since it came waaaay faster then the estimated time which was January. But the wait time was very long, but like I said their quality is phenomenal so its well worth the wait.

I have only positive things to say about this doll in his Full Set. The pieces are very well made and of good quality materials. I love everything about the innovative hairstyle with redesigned head / head-cap and painted sides. The RGM-03 body has great pose-ability and its beautifully sculpted, with no seam lines.
(Just need to be careful that the black fabrics stain the doll, as warned on the note included with the outfit)

Love the way resin feels, so smooth and silky. There are no seamlines. Its strung very well. Love the way the body is sculpted, it has natural look to it, very graceful and at the same time masculine. It has lots of fine details such as vanes, and muscles. Must mention the packaging. Very well thought of. Nice box with heavy foam protection.

Pros:
Very small, light, fun to pose and stick in small places. Her tiny eye holes (she was modded for me) are the perfect size to fit precious gem beads in for eyes.
Cons:
So difficult to clothe, but I managed. Getting eyes to fit was a hassle and a half.

If I find a few sculpts I like for more than their size, probably. I imagine posing is much different for this one compared to the larger dolls.

Despite that, I really do like him and he will look amazing once his face is painted.

Very pretty sculpt. I liked the company face-up a lot too. The clothing’s amazing quality!! And I have a good eye for that. He’s strung well and has good movement. Negative is that the head’s kind of a weird size for wigs. It’s 21cm, which means his head’s relatively small. The wig slides off easily without putting a cap/velcro on. I was surprised I had to glue on the lashes by myself. Eyes I got were kind of big I think, so I had to buy a smaller size.

Would you buy more from this company?
Already planning to place a new order with them. Great experience with my first doll, and I expect to have a great experience again. Thank you!!

The random eyes (16 mm with 9 mm iris!) are too big for Red King. Knee joints are difficult to handle (for me) and back of the knees are a knot, swelling (I don"t like it).

Yes, they match exactly (aside from my doll being a different resin color and body). I'm particularly impressed with the faceup, which is quite detailed and intricate. It's spot on to the company pictures, if not even better.

• I waited almost 8 months for a blank head. Others who ordered blank Messengers waited a lot less.
• Ringdoll did not notice, what they made my head with a color difference, for a month. For a month it was laying in the factory waiting for packing and quality check.
• General treatment of wheat orders during 2019 year. All wheat orders made since November 2018 were started to be made at the end of August 2019. It seems, I am the only one who got my wheat order before November. Others are still waiting.

8/10/2018 and it arrived on 7/12/2019 then I had to send the head back to be fixed and by the time everything was fixed it was 10/22/2019

No, The doll arrived with a poorly done and damaged faceup. I had requested they not paint the symbol on his forehead when I bought him and when I unpacked him it looked like they had painted the mark and then scratched it off and then resealed the head with the eyelashes in as they were covered with sealant residue. There was still faint red on the forehead in the shape of the symbol.
Also the lip and eyebrow makeup was not even close to the sales pictures and his eyebrow on the right was set much higher then the other and both looked like fat furry caterpillars in my opinion.
The clothing is not amazing and on the cheap side, the crane on the back of the coat is the nicest part of the full set , the rest could have been made and painted much better.
The armor pieces are not resin but a soft vinyl and are poorly painted .

NO the faceup was nothing like the sales pictures and was damaged by ringdoll and they sent it to me anyway.

After a lot of messaging and pictures and me not dropping the issue they agreed to redo the faceup but wanted me to pay return shipping to them. I pointed out that the head was sent damaged by them and it should not be my responsibility to pay to send it back to be fixed, they finally agreed to reimburse my shipping but it took more messages and time to get them to actually reimburse me and then they did not send it correctly through paypal and I did not get the full amount .

A few weeks after the head arrived back to them, Cherry messaged me and let me know they redone the facup.
I had luckily requested pictures of the head and upon viewing the two blurry sideways pictures provided , I was disappointed to see that it was exactly the same damage faceup and nothing had been fixed.

More messages followed and it was discovered that the faceup had indeed NOT been redone and then more time passed again while they actually redid it.

New pictures of the redone faceup were sent on 9/17/2019 and I approved the faceup on 9/19/2019 as I wanted him back and it was better then the first one but still not like the sales pictures.
Ringdoll replied they would be arranging shipping on 9/23/2019 but it was only on 10/22/2019 that they actually sent him back and that was after me again asking when they would ship him.


Also a side note Ringdoll 70cm dolls have tiny pinheads and in my opinion look terrible on the big beef cake body ringdoll sells them on.
Also the RGMbody-3 body which my doll came on has a very weird hunched forward neck and it looks odd, at least to me.

Also because the Ringdoll 70cm heads are tiny they don't look right with some of the 60cm ringdoll girl heads which are slightly bigger, so beware if you are trying to make a couple with them .

I will NEVER buy or recommend this company to anyone. Their stance on Human rights and lack of customer service is awful. This was my first and last order from them and it was a long and frustrating experience .

Poor paint job on the armor ( You may need to go to flickr to zoom in on the picture to see the details).
This bothers me as I have other fullsets from different companies that have perfectly painted armor and this in comparison looks like like garbage.

• Yes. I would definitely buy from Ring Doll again. Although the wait for new released and limited edition dolls are excruciatingly long, buying dolls that are NOT new released or limited edition directly from the company, the shipping is much faster.

Only one negativ aspect. I could not figure out how to take off her head so I could not fix her outfit as it was on pictures. As I am very new to the hobby it could be my fault and not any negative aspect though

Otherwise everything is perfect and I love my Minana! Pretty and well poseable body, a gorgeous wig, adorable clothes and well done accessories.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes – the resin is dense and good quality, the electroplating is in good condition, the seam lines have been removed and the doll came wired in the arms and legs

Positives: free wiring and seam removal, very sturdy out of the box, arrived in excellent condition
Negative: I didn't order the body with the tail and the resin piece to plug the tail hole has no notches/magnets to hold it in – I'll likely have to use eye putty. This is only a minor complaint

Would you buy more from this company?
Yes, if anything took my fancy, and probably through the same dealer (ACBJD) as I feel a dealer can help communicate with dollmakers and assist if issues arise
