      Communication with jeeryama is great! Aside from the time difference which slows things down a bit, they always respond as soon as they get online and their English is good enough to easily understand.

      Definitely

      He arrived with a broken finger so I took a picture and sent it off. They are sending me a new set of hands.

      I bought the in stock doll, so the doll arrived in two weeks! Ringdoll Lucifer is absolutely gorgeous even without faceup! The doll was strung pretty well too, a little squeaky, but that's why it poses very well.
      The random eyes I received were too big for Lucifer as the iris covers the whole eye.
      Overall very good experience and will definitely come back for more in the future (:

      4. How was the communication? EXCELLENT! They responded on a daily basis. On nights when I was awake around 3 am I was able to get instant back and forth conversation! And they offered to use skype but I don't have that.
      5. How easy was it to pay? As easy as sending a manual payment through paypal.
      6. How long did it take to ship? 7 weeks which was less than the minimal process estimation time! ^^

      When did you order? February 2012
      Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer? I order through Jeeryama from eBay.
      How was the communication? Jeeryama was awesome.
      How easy was it to pay? Very easy: PayPal.
      How long did it take to ship? Can’t remember exactly, it took months and months.
      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? If the product had been fine, then yes, but my Ringdoll Kirin was a huge mess, so compared to that, no.
      Did the item look like the sale pictures? No, he didn’t look the same at all. He was painted poorly, had paint splotches and scratches everywhere, his head had casting error and his hips have an error so he can’t set them straight. His clothes and accessories were wonky; had some parts replaced with low-quality stuff I have not seen with other peoples’ Kirins, threads stuck out everywhere, sizes were partly off/sewed wrong, and so on and so on.
      Were you satisfied with the product? Hell no, coming to me looking like being dragged through a pack of hungry wolves.
      If you weren’t satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? At first, Ringdoll wanted to shoo me off completely. They were unhelpful and unprofessional, but my kind middleman Jeeryama got them to accept a deal of at least changing the damaged head. Ringdoll forced me to pay the shipping of the damaged item, but Jeeryama was so wonderful, that they told me they would pay it for me. When the damaged head was sent to Ringdoll, they never accepted it from the post and the head was sent back to me. But, reluctantly, Ringdoll made me a new Kirin head. They were so horrible all the time, right from the start, even though I had been very polite all the way. I think they should have apologized and offered me some sort of compensation, but they stayed very quiet. I have been trying to fix my doll all this time on my own, but he still has problems. But since I am a fan of Daomu Biji (a series Ringdoll Kirin is based on), and because we have been through a lot together, I could never sell him.
      Would you order from this company again? At first I felt so ripped off and offended I thought I never would, but when they released another Daomu Biji doll, I took the risk and ordered again. But even though I still order new things from Ringdoll, this fiasco has burned into my memory very vividly and unfading.
      Other: When ordering Ringdoll Kirin, I also ordered weapon items; a knife and an axe. Otherwise they resembled the product pictures, but had blood painted all over them. Since the product pictures had no blood, and no one ever said there would be any blood, I was very baffled to get the red covered weapons. With the blood, they are not as useful as props as they could have been.

      Were you satisfied with the product? Doll itself was very nice, but the wig was cut wrong apparently by a mistake and the jacket’s hood was too small to go over the head of the doll even though it should have fitted.
      If you weren’t satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? In the past it has been difficult to try to solve problems with Ringdoll, so I didn’t even try this time. I just have to take the damage, and buy a new wig and clothes for the doll…
      Would you order from this company again? Despite some bad experiences in the past, now they seem to keep a little bit better eye on it what they send out, so I would say yes.

      How long did it take to ship? It took somewhere around 4 months.
      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, I would say so.

      Were you satisfied with the product? Very, expect the protective paper handkerchief strips wrapped around the doll’s head had slipped on her mouth during the shipping and got stuck to her lips as if the lips were wet during the contact. Some paper pieces were thus left on her mouth. And also the bottoms of her full-set boots are about to fall off because of bad glueing, but that is secondary compared to facial problems.
      Also, the bonus gift mermaid doll Shelly was missing.
      If you weren’t satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? Company itself did not solve it, but Jeeryama did. For the damaged doll face, Jeeryama offered to repaint it, but in the end I chose to not send the head to travel the world, instead trying to fix it myself. About the boots I didn’t even bother to complain. Jeeryama sent me afterwards the missing mermaid Shelly from their storage.
      Would you order from this company again? Ringdoll is a very unpredictable double-or-nothing sort of company, but, yes, I will.
      Other: She was packed kind of poorly; she was swimming around in the box with nothing to secure her and there was unbelievably little of bubble wrap. Compared to my other purchases from Ringdoll, it was like they got bored half way and just slapped the box shut without completing the wrappings.

      I placed my order at the end of October, and finished paying through layaway in early December

      The communication was lovely considering the time difference. When I emailed through the night I've got responses within several minutes.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      It was very easy, just sent through PP and sent an email right after. It would be confirmed the next business day.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      My order was shipped within 3 months. First week of December to first week of February.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      The price was quite steep, but considering the craftsmanship (doll, face up, clothing) I believe it's worth it. My only complaint would be is that the thread holding the buttons on the shirt is a little weak.

      It definitely did after everything was put into place.

      Absolutely! The dolls are so amazing and I absolutely adore the look, how well made they are and the super high quality! These guys have absolutely no seam lines when they arrive which is amazing! And they are so beautiful and pose so well!

      The clothes are also absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend them!

      Yes, mine doesn't have makeup but he looks exactly as I expected him to :D

      I'm super happy! Couldn't have been better!

      * How was the communication? Very pleasant at most of the time, at first through mails, then a bit through Skype.
      * How easy was it to pay? At first I wanted to pay through bank transfer since I wasn't sure if Paypal would transfer this huge amount of a price, but eventually paid through Paypal easily!
      * How long did it take to ship? The package was sent on August 12, and arrived on August 19. A week exactly.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? The quality of everything is AMAZING. The resin looks so pro, the sculpts are amazing, the face up is gorgeous and so softly made, the clothes are unf! Anyway, everything. So professional.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Exactly the same, well I ordered the fullsets so yeah. The face up of Sol is a bit different and more hardcore in their official photos, but I actually liked the softer way they made mine.

      * How was the communication? Superb! They responded every time within one business day. Clear information, easy to understand and friendly. They offered to ship the goblet and crown in the replacement box to lower the shipping cost drastically!!

      * How long did it take to ship? This is the amazing part! I live in the eastern US. The order was placed September 24. They sent a notice of shipment on September 29. The box, crown and goblet arrived today, October 01, 2015 in perfect condition. WOW! Half way around the globe in less than 10 days from order placement!!
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? OMG yes! The goblet and crown were very inexpensive and the gorgeous replacement box was only $15 USD.

      • How was the communication? Communication was very easy and straightforward. There was a small language barrier but nothing unreasonable.
      • How easy was it to pay? I managed to mess up my Paypal account, but it was very simple with placing and order and paying.
      • How long did it take to ship? Not long at all, I had it before Christmas.
      • Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes!! Boyce is BEA-U-TIFUL. He came sanded and wrapped very carefully, he looked like a lot of time and love went into his creation and packaging.
      • Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, I was confused on a few of the items that were on certain images, such as a string that was included but I didn't see in any images till later review. But everything he was pictured with, even something small, was provided inside the package as well as an extra set of hands and plenty of goodies like stickers and postcards.
      • Were you satisfied with the product? Very much so. I am very impressed with the attention to detail in his face-up and with all his packaging. He was strung very nice as well and very stable and pose-able, though he is on the tight side which has scuffed his shoulders slightly.

      They ship DHL and I live in Los Angeles, so it takes no more than 3 days to get to my door. :)

      But sadly, I got scammed by the ex-dealer, but I am glad Ringdoll compensate my loss.
      For me, they are the best doll company ever. :')

      Communication with Ringdoll customer service was good. Took 1-3 working days to answer.
      The customer service is also helpful. I ask many things and they always answer me so well.

      Very easy, via Paypal (when I transferred the shipping fee for the compensation doll)

      From November to mid February,
      Roughly about 3,5 months because of Christmas, 2017 New Year, and Chinese New Year Holiday ^^

      Ringdoll Norman Light 2.0, ns, Fullset, RGM Body 03. Makeup option A.

      * When did you order?
      April 05, 2015, on layaway. Delivery date: Nov. 20, 2015.

      * Did you order directly from the company, or through a distributor or dealer?

      Ordered through Mint on Card MOC

      * How was the communication?

      MOC is OK. Based in US, so no language problem. They use email to answer questions, so it's pretty quick and easy.

      * How easy was it to pay?

      Very easy. MOC has an autopay system for layaways. I have to approve the payments, but they send emails to me about that and I just reply with my approval.

      * How long did it take to ship?

      PIF Sept. 07, 2015-- Arrived Nov. 20, 2015.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      Fair enough.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?

      I think the faceup isn't quite as detailed as the photo. The clothing isn't quite as nice, either. But I expected this. This is my second Ringdoll. (the first, Frankenstein, v.1, was good, but wig was not a great quality (and barely fit).

      * Were you satisfied with the product?

      I was OK with the product. There was a slight rub in the faceup on the chin, but I fixed it myself.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

      I told MOC that maybe they could tell Ringdoll they need to be slightly more careful in packing to protect the faceup. But they had it wrapped pretty well, so it's just a matter of shipping being tough on dolls. I didn't really want anything done by the company.

      * Would you order from this company again?

      Actually, I would. I know their faceup can be a little less detailed and the clothes a little less quality than some others--but they do make cool dolls.

      Some props-- a pair of SD sized smart phones and a pair of SD sized handheld gaming systems.

      Very good! My payment was showing up as unconfirmed despite appearing in Paypal, and I emailed them checking to make sure that it had gone through. I got a reply in a very reasonable amount of time that also gave me information on when I could expect the item to be shipped, and (if I were to order in the future) how long it would take for me to get a confirmation message regarding payment.

      Not long at all. A week at most, and was here within a little less than a week.

      The preorder period was long but manageable. The shipping time was inhumanely fast. I paid for insured shipping and my package was shipped through DHL. I received my shipping notification and 2 days later my package arrived. I was shocked at how fast they were able to ship him.

      The full set was a little expensive but for the quality of the doll, the face-up, the clothes, wig, eyes, extra hands, and accessories, I think it was appropriate. I loved him so much I think he was well worth it.

      I have ordered from RD taobao shop, using Taobaotrends as a shopping agent.
      * How was the communication?
      At first I communicated with RD through Taobaotrends. When I felt it was not enough I wrote an email. They did not reply. On 30th of September, when instead of shipping notice, I got news, what RD badly cast my doll head, I wrote to their Facebook. Belated I did get a reply there. They were stalling for time. I got a confusing message from my SA. And RD facebook person, when they finally replied on 12th of September, and clarified what the head was finished.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy. PayPal.
      * How long did it take to ship?
      RD sent my head out on 13th of October. 156 working days, it was as long as other people waited for a fullset Messenger. And I waited for a blank head.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, for the price. But not for the time I waited.

      They didn't solve anything. Not even a sorry or apology gift.

      So what was a problem?

      • Waiting time, why it was so long
      • Ringdoll actions what even prolonged that wait time
      I was told it will take 90-120 working days (4,5-6 months) One would expect 90 days for smaller parts, around 105 days for full dolls, and longer for fullsets. Ringdoll is 10 years in business, they should know how long it takes them to produce their parts,no? In May they solved their problem with overdue orders, by changing the wait time to 120-180 days.

      Happily I was searching for arrival photos of Messengers. First blank ones came in May ( 5 m.), at the end of June someone got a blank doll (110 days) when in July came the most fullset messengers. Someone who ordered a blank messenger head in white a week later than me got it July too (89 days). So the estimate I was given was true and real.

      July came, but I did not receive my head. Not ready, was a message I got from my SA. The 120 working days estimate ended on 20th of August. My order was not even in production. Ringdoll did not even start to make my order after promised 120 working days. My measly doll head. At that time, other people who ordered in wheat color resin posted in Ringdoll waiting room. Ringdoll did not cast any wheat orders until the end of August. Others were waiting since November 2018 for that color! I checked before ordering, Rd did not have problems casting that resin in 2018. People waited regular wait times for that color before 2019. In 2019 wheat color was cast around January February and at the end of August. If I had ordered at the end of December or in January, as I almost did, my wait time would be 10 months. It would not be shorter.

      At the end of August my head went into production, and was supposed to be made in the beginning of September. On 10th of September I messaged my SA and RD told them, what the head will ship during this or next week. Until 24th I did not get any information, and messaged my SA and wrote an email to Ringdoll directly asking about updates. If RD shipped my order as promised, taobaotrends should have received it by that date. Ringdoll waiting room looked like a war zone at that time. News about customer casualties were coming every week. 10 months, 15 months, missing items, missing orders.
      :sumomo:ghosting and uncertainty. At the same time someone would get their orders in 5 months.

      China had a Golden week on 1-7 of October. I desperately hoped my order will be shipped before that time. On 30th of September, before the Golden week I got a reply from taobaotrends. Ringdoll told them, what there is a small color difference, they will remake the head, wait longer. Happy week long holidays.

      Hold your tea, folks. It took Ringdoll 3 weeks to learn that the product they made was faulty. They wasted 3 weeks. Remember the Wei Wuxian 2 videos Ringdoll posted? One video is about packing and another is about quality check. I was so excited, watching them and did not catch on what, that I am seeing is partially wrong.

      They check quality, clean, sand some minor details on already assembled doll. WW's head with a faceup laid next to the body on the table at that time.

      After learning about almost month of wasted time, I messaged Ringdoll on Facebook, in hopes to get a better estimate. They replied in two days, asking about RD order number. My email was left not replied, by the way. Normally RD can tell Your information on Your order, and Your RD order number. I guess they were stalling for time. Oh and holidays. All information after the 7th of October.

      Long story short, they made my order at the beginning of October. On 12th it was already finished. It took them less than two weeks, too.

      And another thing for your consideration:
      Who of us, who are waiting for our dolls/parts/stuff for more than 6 months/180 calendar days, can return our money back through PayPal? The wait time is now 120-180 working days. 120 working days is about 180 calendar days. Ringdoll promises to start to make ordered product, after the Paypal protection ends. :chibi How nice of them, no? Will we notice fast enough what they are not sending any of their orders out? Will we notice, what they send only a small fraction of orders made?

      What do they do to manage their orders?
      • Release a new doll per month. While not casting any existing orders and not knowing when, they will cast said orders.
      • Start a crowd funding in order to buy rights to a new IP. They wished to create a dragon from Nezha movie. The post was posted at the end of August/beginning of September. It was a short lived post:( because they got a crowd, but not a funding. Weibo still has everything, if you wish, you can find it yourself. Ringdoll weibo does no longer has that post, though :sneaky It is hard to say did they give up or not.
      • The last point rises two questions:
      1. Do they, after the success of Mo Dao Zu Shi, want another promising project, with a possibility of over 1000 orders? :whee:
      2. Why crowd funding? The IP is too expensive? They no longer have money?:?
      It looks like they send orders after opening preorders for the new sculpts. I mean after getting money from new preorders. :chibi Do you see a bubble about to burst?

      I am done playing a Russian roulette with RD. They are greedy and unorganized. From a company who is 10 years in business anyone would expect another level of service.

      Ordered on 8/10/2018 and it arrived on 7/12/2019 then I had to send the head back to be fixed and by the time it was fixed and sent back it was 10/22/2019, so over a year to get what I ordered.

      NO , very poor painting on the armor and faceup and clothing is not high quality.

      After 14 months waiting Ringdoll still have not shipped my head to the dealer. Instead I just found out they have CANCELLED the order and reset my waiting time from Zero. So after waiting 14 months I now start over in the waiting process. The company refuses to do anything to solve the problem.

      Ringdoll never delivered the head. The only thing I’ve gotten are excuses and more delays.

      Ringdoll did not deliver the head and only make excuses.

      No, I paid for an item the doll company has not delivered after 14 months waiting. The promised delivery time was 3 months when I ordered! If you write and ask Ringdoll about ordering the same head today they will reply that the delivery time is 3 months - this is clearly not true!

      Ringdoll does not solve problems. They only leave the dealers and customers with the problems claiming “it will be delivered in another few months”, and then nothing happens until the next delay happens.

      I would NEVER not EVER buy from Ringdoll ever again. Stay away from this company! The dealer on the other hand is wonderful, kind and are doing all they can to help during this situation.       UPDATE 6 November 2020: Today the blank NS head was delivered to me after 18 MONTHS! One and a half year for one blank doll head. Meanwhile orders that were placed much later for full dolls, fullsets etc have been delivered to other collectors. Despite the fact that I finally did get the head delivered I stand by every word in my previous negative feedback. It is not acceptable to promise a delivery time of 2-3 months at the time of ordering and then extend the delay over and over and not deliver until after 18 months of waiting.

      * How was the communication? I bought via the dealer Clover-Singing, she has been great on communication and has tried to resolve the situations with Ringdoll. I know the dealer has had trouble getting a response from RD. I've not had any direct contact with Ringdoll.
      * How easy was it to pay? Yes (using Clover-Singing website)
      * How long did it take to ship? Original body shipped March 2021- received May 2021. 2nd replacement body shipped June 2021. Replacement hand parts shipped Dec 2021.

      The problem started when the dealer tried to post the doll body to me, for some reason it got sent back and the dealer had to send it a second time. Upon finally receiving it, I found I had been sent a body in normal skin rather than white skin as I had ordered (which was unfortunate as the poor dealer had to pay two lots of postage)

      I contacted the dealer who checked with Ringdoll. It took them two attempts to get a response from RD where they admitted they had made a mistake. They offered either a refund or I could wait for them to make a new body which would take 6-8 months. I asked for a new body as still wanted it and settled in for another wait.

      However a week later the dealer let me know that RD had sent an in-stock doll body and it had been shipped out to me. It arrived without problems this time but I was a little surprised as hadn't been sent in a protective packing box (the doll box was just wrapped in plastic) so the Ringdoll box was pretty damaged. The doll inside had been thrown in the box with no protective packaging and quickly became clear that this wasn't a new body from a cancelled order has I had assumed, but a used 2nd hand body.

      The problems with the body-
      Broken part- opening the box, I found the left hand & lower arm had come loose. On closer inspection it turned out the resin in the wrist ball was broken and the peg in the hand had pulled out. I couldn't find the broken resin piece in the box so looks like the doll was broken before they sent it and is not postal damage. (I've let the dealer know and she's trying to get a replacement hand, the doll is currently unusable until the new hand arrives.)
      Staining- the doll was also overall quite dirty. The body had been sent in a very weird outfit which had left severe black staining over the body (so bad some of it has required sanding to remove). There was also orange staining around the knees which has left permeant discolouring.
      Chipping- there is a large chip in the thigh joint and multiple large chips on the neck.
      Yellowing- the doll is yellowed (but thankfully still matches the head it was bought for). The yellowing is patchy in places and the feet and knees are noticeably more yellowed than the body.
      Stringing- the body behaved strangely and constantly wanted to fold up. Inspecting the string when I took it apart for cleaning, the elastic is unevenly stretched and twisted in places so I think the doll had been left in sitting/ folded position for a long time.

No. I feel that Ringdoll has tried to fob with off with a used, yellowed, dirty, stained, chipped, broken doll to get out of making me the new body that I had ordered and paid for in order to save themselves the money. I'm very unhappy they didn't ask me if I'd be okay with a used doll instead of waiting for a new one, I wasn't given a choice and was expected to be happy with what was sent. Also the clear lack of care with packing and shipping the doll really does give the impression they didn't care.

      It's lucky that i'm experienced in cleaning, sanding and restringing dolls as I can imagine a less experienced buyer would have probably cried seeing the state of the doll. As is, despite the 4 hours i've had to spend getting the doll fixed up, it is still unusable until RD make and send a new hand (and the new hand won't match due to the body being yellowed so still have the future job of blushing the new hand to match)

      As much as I like RD dolls, this experience on top of the problems a lot of others have had with RD, means i'm going to avoid this company from now on.

      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand? Given the state of the doll I was sent, I would not trust anything they sold secondhand as good chance it'll be in far worse state than disclosed.

      Update Jan 2022- Ringdoll originally gave an ETA on the replacement hands as Sept 2021. I hadn't heard any more about them by December 2021 so checked back in with my dealer. She gave Ringdoll another poke about the issue and Ringdoll finally sent the replacement hands which I have now received. My concern about the colour match was correct, there is a very noticeable difference due to the body's yellowing so will need to be colour match blushed.
      Ringdoll did also include some extra gifts, a second different set of hands and a blank head with wig and eyes which was very generous of them.

      Addition- apparently you are allowed to add a photo in this thread so here are just a few of the features my 'new' doll came with- broken wrist peg, black dirt & staining, chipped neck and thigh joint, yellowed feet, orange staining around knees and yellowed knee caps.

      Communication was quick and friendly both times. They answered my questions and confirmed my layaway payments for the Judge.

      Very easy, via PayPal. The Judge was paid on layaway and their initial email tells you exactly how it works. The Lucky Bags were paid in full.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      The Judge was paid off on March 22, 2021 and shipped March 27, 2021. He arrived April 6, 2021 via DHL.
      The Lucky Bags shipped September 4, 2021, though weren't picked up by DHL until September 11. They arrived September 13 and 14, 2021.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Very much. Even more so, since they were all bought during sales periods.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      They were all blank and looked like the company's images of the blank sculpts.

      Very satisfied, though one of the Lucky Bag dolls arrived with a finger broken on one hand.

      I emailed Ringdoll about the broken finger and they said they'll send a replacement. I'll edit when the replacement arrives.
      Edit: The replacement hand shipped 01/17/22 and arrived 01/20/22, so basically four months after being told it would take weeks (took a lot of weeks lol). It's quite a bit pinker than the body, so I don't know if the doll has yellowed that much or the resin colors are inconsistent, but I don't really think it's worth bringing up with RD.

      I would, though likely only in-stock items since their wait times for pre-order items is rather long (unless I just really want something that's only available for pre-order).

      Very much, though there were some dark marks on the back of his head and an ear but they came off with some scrubbing.

      Looks like the company's images of the blank sculpts, except in tan.

      Very satisfied, though there are a couple of odd things about the body compared to my other two of the same type (the top of the neck is flat, instead of rounded, and the bottom of one foot doesn't have the same amount of detail as the other). But, they don't really hinder anything.

      I didn't bring it up since they aren't major issues.

      Despite paying for both heads to have face ups and waiting 13 months, they only did the face up on one head and sent the other head blank. The face up they did do is very good and i'm happy with it. But i'm not happy they didn't face up the other head.

      No, I am so done with Ringdoll at this point.

      Edit: I heard back from my dealer and they said "i'm very sorry, i asked RD about the make-up event, they told me the Raven doll head has the make-up service, but the painter of RD doesn't offer the make-up of Aooni head, it is very sad!"

      It seems that it took them so long to produce the head that the face up artist stopped doing that face up! And bear in mind I ordered the head 3 months before the discontinuation event to try and help it not get lost in the surge of orders. And RD sent the head without any explanation about why it didn't have the face up and did not offer a refund for the face up not happening. It took my dealer chasing them up on that. I'm trying to get a refund but i'm still going to lose some money due to paypal fees as loooong past the point where the dealer can do refund on the original payment.

      So after 18 months I now have a chipped, stained, broken, heavily yellowed body with hands and head that don't match due to being fresh resin and the head has no face up. Great. Good job Ringdoll.

      * How was the communication?
      I directly contacted Ringdoll's CS (customer service livechat) on every occasion. Their CS was pretty hit or miss as they have a few people handling their CS side, and it depended on who I was talking to on each occasion. Most times I would be asked to 'wait a while', and you'd think it meant waiting for a few hours at most, as it was a livechat where they respond immediately. However, it felt like I had to prompt their CS to keep up with my enquiry by knocking on their CS's door every other day - as not once did they get back even after me 'waiting' for a few days at first. (It does feel like their Chinese CS has improved recently though.)

      * How easy was it to pay?
      Very easy. I paid the full amount, and then another 1 yuan to ship the doll to Taobao's warehouse address after the original order's shipping validity expired.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      5 months

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      More or less. I ordered during a sale, and paid 600USD for the fullset. (The fullset usually goes for ~710USD on their Taobao store).
      I would highly say that the quality largely comes from the beautiful faceup I received. There were some buff marks on his shoulders, and a dark spot on the sole of one of his feet. The clothing was well made, but with a lot of uncut thread. The fake 'tails' that Lexi has has a button closure, which would *never* stay on, and feels rather fragile and had to be handled with a lot of care.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Mostly yes. The faceup I received is actually significantly different enough from the official photos imo, but still well done and good quality. Clothes look the same as sales pictures.

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, but as seen above, the satisfaction comes from his beautiful faceup.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?

      No. He was my first doll, and I went into it not knowing much about Ringdoll at that point. Political position aside, after ordering I realised that many other customers before me expressed dissatisfaction with their Ringdoll Lexi's company faceup (with photo evidence), and I could see why, so I was on tenterhooks the entire time I was waiting for my order to arrive.
      I also honestly feel that my order was shipped 'early' (for Ringdoll's standards) only because I was checking in with CS frequently (also because they kept asking me to wait without getting back!). Whilst my order arrived rather quickly and was luckily handled with a lot of care (thank you to the packing staff and faceup artist!), I would not want to be subject to their usual longer waittimes and inconsistent updates from their CS again.

      Good. I didn't need to ask many questions, so most of my communication with them was regarding payment confirmation and getting a shipping notice. There were a couple of days between when i placed my order and sent my payment confirmation before i got a reply, but I think i ordered on what would have been a weekend for them, so I can chalk it up to time zone differences and having a smaller team.

      * How easy was it to pay?
      I paid through paypal, so it was very simple.

      * How long did it take to ship?
      He was a preorder, so it took about 4 months, which was within the estimated time in the listing. He arrived the end of January. I did have to contact the shipping carrier to find out why the tracking didn't update after the package made it to the US, though. That is the only thing I wasn't entirely satisfied with, as I paid for DHL, but after getting to the US, the package was turned over to USPS and didn't require a signature on delivery. According to DHL, the sender needs to specify that a package should be signed for, otherwise it gets turned over to USPS (I live in a rural area so that may affect their answer). I've had other packages from DHL before that required delivery confirmation, so I was not aware that this wasn't standard when requesting DHL. I don't remember if there was an option to request they ship it and require signature on delivery or not when I ordered.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      Within reason, yes. I'm well aware companies retouch their photos, but everything looked like the pictures when i compared items to the promo pictures he came with (mostly the materials of the clothing, because I had seen some people complaining about them).

      * Were you satisfied with the product?
      Yes, very! He's lovely and I'm very happy with him! He does have a bit of a smudge on his torso that didn't come off with a magic eraser, but i'm not sure if he came from the manufacture that way or got smudged during the times i was unboxing him before i got him dressed and set up.
      The clothing is very well made, but one of the snaps on his robe was very hard to open and some of the stitching on it did come undone due to me really having to yank to get it open, which I can easily fix myself. Other than that, everything is very well made and feels very nice. His wig is a little messy, but it was my first time putting a styled wig on a doll. It's mostly just a couple of fly aways that I could trim.

      Also, it was rather hard to find how to communicate with them. They don't have Q&A board like many other companies do. The order confirmation email said: "If you have any question with the order, please contact us at <ringdoll.hk email>" - but when I did have a question about my order and wrote to that address, there was no reply. They also have some sort of a chat interface in "My Account" - that also doesn't work. There is no "Contact" page on their website, and the service emails that worked - I managed to fish them out of their blog, of all places.

      * How easy was it to pay? No problems there whatsoever

      * How long did it take to ship? 12 days

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Not quite. The quality control could have been better

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes. Sort of. See below.

      * Were you satisfied with the product? Not exactly. The doll comes with fox ears that attach magnetically, and one of the magnets in the head was installed backwards (I think the problem is with the head and not the ears because both the ears attach to one side, but not to the other). Which means not only I cannot use these ears with the doll - I won't be able to attach any sort of other accessories like horns or whatever. Not to mention this would affect the price if I ever wish to sell the doll.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? They did not. Initially, I asked them to send me either a replacement ear with no magnet, or a replacement head cap with magnets correctly installed (the doll came with the booklet, which said that in case of quality problems they can send a replacement, but I would pay for the shipping). They refused to do that and suggested I use more magnets.

      They did offer a $40 coupon for my next purchase - I thought I might use that to just purchase a blank Yumeo head from their website (I would have to pay for the shipping of the replacement part anyway, so why not just get a blank head instead). I asked them (to be sure) if the head comes with magnets and if they can check that they are installed correctly - they never replied to those questions. That's the email I doubt they have read. If they have, that would be the end of it to our mutual satisfaction, I think - I would get my coupon, and they would get to sell me the head. But despite me accepting the coupon, they never actually gave it to me.

      In their last email to me, this is what they suggested: "I think we both know the reason why the eras cannot match the head is that one is S and one is N. If the head is "N" like this picture I attached, then the ear should be "S", so we use the new magnet (the black squre) to change the N to S, so that the ear can attach on the head." - for the life of me, I cannot understand what it means, apparently a reiteration of their suggestion to use more magnets. When I asked for clarification on this, they never replied. I waited a couple of days and messaged them again, and they blocked me altogether. (That was especially strange. Why would you block a customer and refuse any communication with them, especially if you are kinda failing to help them in any meaningful way? This is literally the first time ever I got blocked by a company representative. I didn't even know blocking a customer was a thing lol. And no, I wasn't rude or screaming at them)

    47. Update on the magnets problem above:

      So after my email address was blocked, there seemed to be no way of reaching out to the company, so I decided to open a PayPal dispute for a partial refund (the cost of a blank head). After that the company reached out to me and offered to send a replacement head, which I happily accepted. It took a while (they actually even did a face-up on the head :chibi) Today I received it, and the ears work fine with it, so I finally can see my Yumeo in all his foxy glory. Thank you so much Ringdoll! :chibi

      I also let them know that my email address was blocked - that also has been solved (I had to reply from different email addresses). Apparently, it wasn't done intentionally as I initially thought, but rather their email server for some reason decided I am a spammer *_*.

      All is well that ends well, so in the end I am happy overall about their customer service. It would be great if they made a message board on their website, similar to what many other companies have - it would be much more convenient than email.
