Hybrids Ringdoll bodies and other bjd heads

    1. I have a ringdoll RGMbody-07 body with a 12.5cm neck, but I'm struggling to see what bjds heads can fix the body.
      I tried fitting a Mori9 octan head and it was a pain also the head ended up moving side to side, I'm not sure if it was because a string issue or just the way it was sculpted.

      I found tiaba's head Lev, the head is compatible, but other than that.

      Update: I just found out the s hook is low in the neck because the neck hole of my hybrid is way too big, that could be the reason why my bjd heads won't fit, I believe my octan head can fit if I fix the s hook.

    2. The RGM-07 body is relatively new, so less people are going to have it and therefore be able to give feedback on what works with it.
      The Photo Reference section of DoA has a section for hybrids that may be able to help with heads to fit that neck circumference as well as other hybriding questions.

    3. You got a photo of the hybrid? I’m curious to see what yours looks like. I got the same body as you from the RingDoll site a few weeks ago for my Dollzone x Nightengale head. The body won’t be here for another 2 months so I can’t let you know if it worked out just yet, but I can post a photo later. I also got the 12.5 cm neck.

      PS: I have a doll whose head also did the side to side thing, the body and head are a full set so I loosened the string and it got much better. Idk if it’s exactly the same problem as yours but sounds like it could be?

      I do! My hybrid is 75cm

      That sounds like what's happening but the neck hole is so big that the string was going back and forth.

    7. Oh yeah it works now. Ahhh it looks so good. I can’t wait for mine to get in, I paid extra for it to be tan. :XD:

      Update: I got my RGMbody-07 body with a 12.5cm neck in tan today. My Doll Zone head fit perfectly :whee: I could cry. The color matches too. I’m glad I stared at the RingDoll colors for like 3 months haha.

    9. Lol it’s the Ring Doll Tan but the head is a special face up so I don’t know the original color of it. I prayed for many days and nights that these two colors would match ahahaha
