Lost/Damaged [RESOLVED]Dear BJDivas.... What happened to MiYou?

    1. Okay here is the deal.... I got a shipping notification from BJDivas regarding my Dollzone MiYou (Alborah too, but that one was shipped out today, so I'm a little less anxious about that one) five days ago. He was being shipped to me via UPS, and the doll has yet to even arrive to UPS, five days after the shipping notification! I've been dealing with lost package stress for a while now, and something similar already happened to me, that time I waited for ten days before notifying the people I ordered from and they sent me a replacement, thankfully. I asked both BJDivas and UPS about this earlier today and have yet to get a response from either of them! I don't think I will be able to replace these dolls if they get lost, and I am very concerned at this point! Especially considering they weren't even given to UPS at this point, so I don't know what I will be able to do! I would keep this between me and BJDivas, but they're not being very transparent and not responding, so I felt forced to take this to DoA with the hope of at least a response! I just really need some transparency here, or at least an update on MiYou's status....

      Rant/vent over! I just can't be nice/lenient anymore at this point! I've been dealing with lost package stress all month!

    2. BJDivas routinely makes their shipping notices up to two weeks before actually dropping things off with the courier. I had a doll sit for ten days recently. Your package is still at BJDivas and will most likely arrive safely.

      Consider whether this is a company you want to do business with in the future.

    3. Okay... thanks for letting me know.... I had to deal with a lot of stressful stuff this past few weeks (two lost packages, one even getting lost before even getting to the courier), coupled with my Taobao dealer (Superbuy) suspending usage of PayPal (that left me with no way of paying for shipping a bunch of stuff home outside of Stripe, which I don't know I can trust). I think that lead to me panicking about MiYou on principle, since I waited so long for him.... Especially that one package that got lost before getting to the courier.... that definitely contributed to me assuming something went wrong... :doh It's just not been great for me this past April I guess. BJDivas not being transparent did not help either.

    4. I second that it's BJDivas taking a very long time sending the parcel out rather than it being lost (especially as UPS doesn't have it yet). Unfortunately, any kind of movement or response from them takes a while regardless of what you do so all I can recommend is being patient for now and poking at it again in a few weeks if nothing moves. I have waited for in-stock items to ship out for over a month from them so it's not ideal indeed but they are trustworthy with refunds if things have broken or lost etc so I'm sure your doll is fine :) I understand it's incredibly frustrating, though.

    5. From past experience and what Divas has posted, they make the label, then set the packages in a secure area for pickup. The mail worker then comes and takes as many packages as they can fit, I think on Fridays each week? It may not be all the packages, so if you get tracking on Monday, it may be up to the second Friday out to actually start moving.

      It doesn't seem like the most efficient way to do shipping, but also they've said they only have a few workers, maybe only even one at times, and can't carry all of the packages to the post office themselves.

      For my own experience, I just usually wait the two weeks before starting to worry, even if I'm still chomping at the bit to get my doll. The best way to find out is messaging them, but again, it will probably take a little to get a response.
